Abstract
Una bicicleta que incluye pedales, un piñón (8), que está conectado por una cadena para ser hecho rotar por los pedales, y un buje que comprende un miembro de buje hueco sustancialmente cilíndrico (24, 26, 28), que está montado para rotar en torno a su eje y en cuyo interior está alojado un sistema de transmisión de relación continuamente variable con una entrada (6), que está conectada al piñón (8) a través de una rueda libre (9) y está montada para rotar en torno al eje, y una salida (22) conectada para rotar con el miembro de buje (24, 26, 28), en que el sistema de transmisión comprende un juego de engranajes epicicloidal y unos motores/generadores primero y segundo, en que las conexiones eléctricas de los estátores (38, 34) de éstos están conectadas mediante un controlador (40) dispuesto para controlar la transmisión de energía de un motor/generador al otro, caracterizada porque el sistema de transmisión comprende un único juego de engranajes epicicloidal que incluye un engranaje solar (12) engranado con una pluralidad de engranajes planetarios (14) montados para rotar en torno a respectivos ejes planetarios (18) portados por un portador común (20), que está montado para rotar con la entrada en torno al eje, en que los engranajes planetarios (14) están engranados con un engranaje anular (22), que está conectado para rotar con el miembro de buje (24, 26, 28), en que el engranaje anular (22) y el engranaje solar (12) están conectados para rotar con los rotores (36, 32) de los motores/generadores eléctricos primero y segundo, respectivamente, y porque el buje incluye además un embrague unidireccional, que incluye un miembro de accionamiento constituido por el portador común (20) y un miembro accionado (44), que está conectado para rotar con el miembro de buje (24, 26, 28), en que el embrague unidireccional está dispuesto para conectar el miembro de buje (24, 26, 28) para que rote con el portador (20) tan pronto como el portador (20) rote más rápidamente que el miembro de buje (24, 26, 28).
