Abstract
Un método para asignar señales de referencia en una subtrama en un sistema de comunicación MIMO inalámbrico, la subtrama que comprende una pluralidad de símbolos OFDM en el dominio de tiempo transmitidos desde una primera, segunda, tercera y cuarta antenas sobre una pluralidad de subportadoras en el dominio de frecuencia, en donde la primera y segunda antenas se usan más frecuentemente que la tercera y cuarta antenas, el método que comprende: - asignar una pluralidad de primeras señales de referencia (T1) para la primera antena en un primer símbolo OFDM y un tercer símbolo OFDM; - asignar una pluralidad de segundas señales de referencia (T2) para la segunda antena en el primer símbolo OFDM y el tercer símbolo OFDM; - asignar una pluralidad de terceras señales de referencia (T3) para la tercera antena en un segundo símbolo OFDM contiguo con el primer símbolo OFDM; y - asignar una pluralidad de cuartas señales de referencia (T4) para la cuarta antena en el segundo símbolo OFDM; en donde - la pluralidad de primeras señales de referencia y la pluralidad de segundas señales de referencia no son contiguas y no se solapan; - la pluralidad de terceras señales de referencia y la pluralidad de cuartas señales de referencia no son contiguas y no se solapan; - las primeras y segundas señales de referencia se asignan más densamente que las terceras y cuartas señales de referencia; - cada una de la pluralidad de primeras, segundas, terceras y cuartas señales de referencia se asigna en intervalos regulares en el dominio de frecuencia, las primeras señales de referencia y las segundas señales de referencia que se alternan en el primer símbolo OFDM en intervalos regulares de dos ubicaciones de frecuencia, las primeras señales de referencia y las segundas señales de referencia que se alternan en el tercer símbolo OFDM en intervalos regulares de dos ubicaciones de frecuencia y las terceras señales de referencia y las cuartas señales de referencia que se alternan en el segundo símbolo OFDM en intervalos regulares de dos ubicaciones de frecuencia; - se asignan un cuarto y quinto símbolos OFDM que no incluyen las señales de referencia, de manera que el cuarto símbolo OFDM es contiguo con el segundo símbolo OFDM, el quinto símbolo es contiguo con el cuarto símbolo OFDM y el tercer símbolo OFDM es contiguo con el quinto símbolo OFDM, - las ubicaciones en el dominio de frecuencia de la pluralidad de primeras señales de referencia asignadas en el primer símbolo OFDM son las mismas que las ubicaciones en el dominio de frecuencia de la pluralidad de segundas señales de referencia en el tercer símbolo OFDM y las ubicaciones en el dominio de frecuencia de la pluralidad de segundas señales de referencia asignadas en el primer símbolo OFDM son las mismas que las ubicaciones en el dominio de frecuencia de la pluralidad de primeras señales de referencia en el tercer símbolo OFDM, - se asignan un sexto y séptimo símbolos OFDM que no incluyen la pluralidad de señales de referencia, de manera que el sexto símbolo OFDM es contiguo con el tercer símbolo OFDM y el séptimo símbolo es contiguo con el sexto símbolo OFDM y - las ubicaciones en el dominio de frecuencia de la pluralidad de terceras señales de referencia en el segundo símbolo OFDM son las mismas que las ubicaciones de la pluralidad de primeras señales de referencia en el primer símbolo OFDM y las ubicaciones en el dominio de frecuencia de la pluralidad de cuartas señales de referencia en el segundo símbolo OFDM son las mismas que las ubicaciones de la pluralidad de segundas señales de referencia en el primer símbolo OFDM.
