Description

Finally, a textile material is passed through the layer from the inside to the outside, so that the hydrophilic portions of the layer are adhered to the surface of the textile material and the hydrophobic portions 5 are pointing outwards. By covering a textile material using the L-B method, a fabric with a perfectly ordered coating with a two-dimensional crystalline structure is obtained. Said tissue has 10 nanotechnological properties, such as superhydrophobicity, softness, chemical or bacterial protection, etc., derived from the type of amphipathic solute used. The main application of the L-B method is to obtain technical fabrics, such as fabrics for use in the biosanitary branch, fabrics for the preparation of professional clothing (for example, firefighter suits). However, the L-B technique offers an easy adaptation to the needs, being able to incorporate other types of features into the fabric. 20 The technical problem to be solved is to obtain a device that allows the L-B method to be applied to a textile material with improved performance in terms of the amount of coating material used (amphipathic solute). DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention solves the technical problem posed by, according to a first object of the invention, a device for effecting a Langmuir-Blodgett coating on a textile material, which         It comprises the following elements: - a container, adapted to house inside a polar solvent on which a Langmuir layer is arranged, Langmuir layer being understood as a monomolecular thickness layer of an amphipathic product; 5 - compression means arranged in the container in contact with the Langmuir layer, to compress said Langmuir layer, thereby increasing the surface tension of said Langmuir layer to achieve a highly ordered Langmuir layer; and - guide means adapted to guide and conduct the textile material 10, from the outside of the container through the Langmuir layer, as well as through the inside of the container through the polar solvent and also from the outside of the container, to allow the coating of the textile material with the Langmuir layer. 15 As a container, a pastry of those commonly used in the textile industry is preferably used to make various types of impregnations, such as dyes or impregnations of fabric softener or antistatic products, in textile materials. The compression means preferably comprise a pair of bars of mobile polygonal section with respect to the container to adopt a substantially horizontal position in the upper part of the container, pressing, without invasion, on the Langmuir layer, to provide said layer of Langmuir increased surface tension. Preferably, the bars are mobile in an articulated manner by means of joints. Said bars are additionally movable along the container using displacement means adapted to allow         approach and distance of the bars from each other. Said displacement means may preferably comprise: a guide, on which the displacement occurs, and arranged on the outside of one of the faces of the container; - a pair of sliding slides along the guide, where each slide is fixed to the articulation of the bars with the container; - a toothed belt disposed on the outside of one of the faces of the container, operable by at least one drum; and 10 - at least one claw (preferably only a claw) fixed to a slide, said claw equipped with a projection adapted to engage with the toothed belt to allow the sliding of the slide. The guiding means preferably comprise: 15 - at least two first rollers adapted to be fixed inside the container and submersible within the polar solvent housed in the bottom of the container, said first rollers adapted to guide the textile material inside the container ; and - a plurality of second rollers for guiding the textile material through the outside of the container, both before being immersed in the container and after emerging from said container. The device of the invention additionally incorporates control means for controlling the surface tension of the Langmuir layer. Said control means can in turn comprise a meter adapted to take and show measurements of the surface tension of the Langmuir layer. The pressure exerted on said Langmuir layer by the compression means can be adjustable depending on the values shown by the meter, which can be by manual correction of the pressure exerted by the means 30         compression, or optionally by means of a regulation system adapted to collect the surface tension measurements measured by the meter and act on the compression means to correct the pressure exerted on the Langmuir layer. 5 A procedure for effecting a Langmuir-Blodgett coating on a textile material is described below, using the device described above. First, an amount of polar solvent is deposited in the bottom of the container. Preferably, the polar solvent is water, in particular deionized and demineralized water, known in the field of the invention as ultrapure water. The textile material is then placed inside the container, 15 so that it can be guided by the guiding means to submerge inside the container and emerge outward from said container. Next, an amount of a solution formed by an amphipathic solute and a volatile solvent immiscible in the polar solvent is deposited in said container. Then, the evaporation of the volatile solvent is expected (and / or forced). Consequently, a layer of the amphipathic solute of monomolecular thickness (the one referred to above as the Langmuir layer) is formed on the surface of the polar solvent. Next, the compression means are activated to produce adequate compression of the Langmuir layer, where appropriate in cooperation with the control means. 30           Finally, the actuation of the guiding means for conducting the textile material occurs, so that when said textile material emerges from the container, it is impregnated with the Langmuir layer material. 5 This device and this method make it possible to obtain coatings of greater order and controlled thickness than in the case of using textile pastes and produce a more uniform coating of the textile material, which requires a smaller amount of amphipathic solute than other techniques used Currently to cover textile materials. 10 DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the features of the invention, according to a preferred example of practical realization thereof, it is accompanied as an integral part of said description, a set of drawings where, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented: Figure 1.- Shows a perspective view of the device of the invention, where a break is included to indicate that the inside of the container is filled with a polar solvent and on the upper surface free of the polar solvent is a Langmuir layer. Figure 2.- Shows a view of Figure 1 sectioned according to a cross-sectional plane called II-II in Figure 1. PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Below is a detailed description of an example of         embodiment of the present invention, with the aid of the attached figures 1 and 2. As can be seen in Figure 1, the device (1) for effecting a coating of Langmuir-Blodgett on a textile material (8) of the invention comprises a container (2), specifically, a pasteur (2) of those used 5 in the textile industry, adapted to accommodate in its interior ultrapure water (3), on which a layer of Langmuir (4) is arranged, that is, a layer of monomolecular thickness of an amphipathic solute. The pasteur (2) is filled with ultrapure water (3), such that the Langmuir layer (4) is arranged on the upper edge of the pastera (2). The device (1) of the invention additionally comprises guiding means (16, 17) (see figures 1 and 2) adapted to guide and conduct the textile material (8), from the outside of the container (2) through the Langmuir layer (4), as well as inside the container (2) through ultrapure water (3), and also outside the container (2), to allow the textile material (8) to be covered with the Langmuir cape (4). The guiding means (16, 17) comprise: - two first rollers (16) adapted to be fixed inside the container (2) and submersible within the polar solvent housed in the bottom of the container (2), said first rollers (16) adapted to guide the textile material (8) inside the container (2); and - a plurality of second rollers (17) for guiding the textile material (8) outside the container (2), both before being submerged in the container (2) 25 and after emerging from said container (2). Additionally, compression means (5, 9) for compressing the Langmuir layer (4) are arranged in the container (2), thereby increasing the surface tension of said Langmuir layer (4) to 30         get a layer of Langmuir (4) highly ordered. The compression means (5, 9) comprise a pair of bars (5) of circular or polygonal section articulated with respect to the container (2), by means of joints (9), to adopt a substantially horizontal position in the upper part of the container (2), pressing, without invasion, on the Langmuir layer (4), to provide said Langmuir layer (4) with greater surface tension. The bars (5) are additionally movable along the container 10 (2) using means of displacement (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15) adapted to allow the approach and removal of the bars (5) between yes. Said displacement means (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15) comprise: - a guide (10), on which the displacement occurs, and which is arranged outside one of the faces of the container ( 2); - a pair of sliders (11) movable along the guide (10), where each slide (11) is fixed to the joint (9) of the bars (5) with the container (2); - a toothed belt (12) disposed outside one of the faces 20 of the container (2), operable by at least one drum (13); and - a claw (14), fixed to a slide (11), said claw (14) provided with a projection (15) adapted to engage with the belt (12) to allow the sliding of the slide (11). The device (1) of the invention further comprises control means for controlling the surface tension of the Langmuir layer (4). Said control means comprise a meter (18) adapted to take and show measurements of the surface tension of the Langmuir layer (4). The pressure exerted on said Langmuir layer (4) by the bars (5) is 30         adjustable depending on the values shown by the meter (18). To effect the coating, first an amount of ultrapure water (3) is deposited in the bottom of the container (2). 5 Next, the textile material (8) is arranged inside the container (2), so that it can be guided by the guiding means (16, 17) to submerge inside the container (2) and emerge towards the exterior of said container (2). Next, an amount of a solution formed by an amphipathic solute (not shown) and a volatile solvent (not shown) immiscible in ultrapure water (3) is deposited in said container (2), on ultrapure water (3). . Then, after evaporation of the volatile solvent, the formation on the surface of the ultrapure water (3) of a layer of the amphipathic solute 15 of monomolecular thickness, previously referred to as the Langmuir layer (4), results. Next, the bars (5) are activated to produce adequate compression of the Langmuir layer (4), where appropriate in cooperation with the 20 control means. Finally, the driving means (16, 17) are driven to drive the textile material (8), so that when said textile material (8) emerges from the container (2), it is impregnated with the material of the Langmuir layer 25 (4).
