Abstract

Un sistema y método de alimentación de materiales pulverizados o granulares a un baño de metal fundido, caracterizado el sistema porque comprende una serie de depósitos para los materiales con que se ha de alimentar, medios para descargar una cantidad de material independientemente controlable de cada uno de los depósitos a un recipiente común, medios a través de los cuales puede aplicarse una cantidad controlada de gas a presión a los depósitos y dispositivos de descarga, y un conducto que parte del recipiente y se halla adaptado para su inserción bajo la superficie del metal fundido del baño.
