SE DETERMINA UNA VELOCIDAD DE CODIFICACION DIVIDIENDO LA SEÑAL DE ENTRADA EN SUBBANDAS UTILIZANDO UNOS FILTROS DE SUBBANDAS DIGITALES (4) Y (6) Y COMPARANDO LA ENERGIA DE ESAS BANDAS CON UN GRUPO DE UMBRALES EN LOS ELEMENTOS DE DECISION DE VELOCIDAD DE LAS SUBBANDAS (12) Y (14) Y EXAMINANDO DESPUES ESAS COMPARACIONES EN UN SELECTOR DE LA VELOCIDAD DE CODIFICACION (16). SEGUN ESTE METODO, SE PUEDEN DIFERENCIAR LOS SONIDOS SIN VOZ DEL RUIDO DE FONDO.
