Abstract
Un obturador óptico de imagen (20, 22, 24) para modular la luz que comprende: una multiplicidad de capas finas de material semiconductor alternadas de bandas prohibidas estrechas (32) y anchas (34), apiladas para formar una estructura MQW (estructura de pozos cuánticos) (26); y electrodos (46, 60, 70) situados al menos sobre dos superficies extremas planas semiconductoras (38, 40) del obturador de imagen y paralelas a las dos capas finas; y una apertura de obturador (36) definida por un área de apertura (36), que es mayor de 4 mm2 y situada al menos en una al menos de dos superficies extremas planas semiconductoras, en la que el mencionado obturador de imagen modula la luz incidente sobre la mencionada área, comprendiendo además el mencionado obturador de imagen: circuitos de excitación asociados que tienen al menos una fuente de voltaje; caracterizado porque los mencionados electrodos y el mencionado circuito de excitación están configurados de forma que la diferencia de voltaje aplicada entre los mencionados electrodos por el mencionado circuito de excitación genere un campo eléctrico que sea substancialmente uniforme en forma temporal y espacial en el volumen de la estructura MQW (26).
