Abstract

The temperature control in a kiln for firing ceramics, through the distribution of the gas flow through an opening, has two units moving against each other. A horizontal and tubular collector (60) is fixed at the outflow opening across the kiln width, with at least one longitudinal row of lateral openings (160). A moving closure (61) has a dividing wall (70) and openings (260) to cover and expose the openings (160) wholly or partially.
