Abstract
Aparato (100) para transmitir información, que comprende: una fuente (110) de cadenas de bits para proporcionar una cadena de bits que representa la información; un codificador (120) que añade redundancia para generar una cadena de bits codificada (411, 412, 413) basada en la cadena de bits (401, 402, 403) proporcionada por la fuente (110) de cadenas de bits donde el codificador (120) está organizado para dar como salida, para un primer número de bits de entrada (401 a 403), un segundo número de bits de salida, teniendo el segundo número de bits de salida al menos el doble número de bits de salida que el primer número de bits de entrada, y donde el segundo número de bits de salida incluye dos partes (410, 420) de bits de salida, permitiendo cada parte (410, 420) de bits de salida recuperar individualmente la información representada por el primer número de bits de entrada (401 a 403), y estando codificada la primera parte(410) de bits de salida basándose en la cadena de bits de una manera diferente con respecto a la segunda parte (420) de los bits de salida; donde el codificador (120) que añade redundancia incluye un codificador convolutivo organizado para obtener una tasa de codificación inferior a 0,5, en el que la tasa de codificación es la relación del primer número de bits de entrada (401 a 403) al segundo número de bits de salida (411 a 413), combinando el codificador convolutivo (120) un bit de entrada en curso para ser codificado con al menos uno de un cierto número de bits de entrada precedentes, y donde el codificador que añade redundancia (120) incluye además una unidad (125) de perforación que funciona descartando al menos un bits predeterminado de los bits de salida del codificador convolutivo (120), con lo que el segundo número de bits de salida es fijado a un valor que permite que la primera y segunda partes (410, 420) de bits de salida tenga el mismo número de bits de salida, no siendo transmitido el al menos un bit descartado hacia el receptor; medios (130) para hacer particiones del segundo número de bits de salida en dos partes (410, 420) de bits de salida; y medios (140) para transmitir los bits de salida de la primera parte (410) a través de un primer canal (300) y los bits de salida de la segunda parte (420) a través de un segundo canal (400), estando el segundo canal (400) separado espacialmente del primer canal (300), donde los medios (140) para transmitir están organizados para transmitir los bits de salida de la primera parte y los bits de salida de la segunda parte sin retardo o con un retardo predeterminado entre el primer canal y el segundo canal.
