Abstract

Método de tratamiento por láser de la superficie de placas de granito o similares. El método está concebido para tratar superficialmente placas o piezas de granito, basándose en una irradiación de un haz láser para obtener una superficie rugosa o abujardada de la propia placa de granito. El método es flexible en su aplicación, permitiendo obtener diferentes tipos de acabado sobre la misma pieza de granito, sin necesidad de cambiar de equipo de herramienta, siendo necesario tan solo modificar los parámetros de procesamiento. El método supone una considerable mejora frente a los métodos tradicionales, como el abujardado mecánico, reduciéndose muy considerablemente el ruido producido por el proceso y siendo factible el tratamiento o abujardado de placas de granito más delgadas. Las placas de granito tratadas mediante el método, pueden ser utilizadas tanto en revestimientos de edificios como en pavimentos, y en general como pieza ornamental.
