Abstract

Sistema de arranque en frío de motores diesel de inyección directa rápidos. El sistema está basado en realizar un precalentamiento de toda la carga del aire de admisión de un motor diesel (1) de inyección directa rápido, mediante resistencias eléctricas (7) y/ó (7''), efectuándose ese precalentamiento del aire antes de alcanzar éste la cámara de combustión de los cilindros (2) del motor (1). La resistencia y/o resistencias eléctricas (7) y/ó (7'') se disponen antes del colector de admisión (3) y/o con anterioridad a las válvulas de admisión del motor, de manera que cuando las pérdidas de energía calorífica a través de las paredes del colector sean bajas, bien porque el correspondiente colector de admisión (3) es de un material con baja conductividad térmica o por otras razones, generalmente se dispone una única resistencia eléctrica (7) para el precalentamiento, que se sitúa en la entrada de dicho colector, mientras que si las pérdidas a través de estas paredes son altas, (por ejemplo porqueel colector es de un material con alta conductividad térmica), se disponen una serie de resistencias eléctricas (7''), inmediatamente antes de la entrada a cada uno de los cilindros (2) del motor (1). Cuando un compromiso entre pérdidas de energía permisibles, y costes de la implementación en función del material del colector lo requiera, se puede utilizar de manera combinada las soluciones anteriormente mencionadas.Cold start system of fast direct injection diesel engines.
