Abstract

Air distributing device in a vehicle passenger compartment 11, having a longitudinally extending air duct 13 which is provided for the right-had side 12 and a longitudinally extending air duct 15 which is provided for the left-had side 14, said air ducts each being provided at the same time in the region of the vehicle floor 16 and to which in each case air can be fed via at least one air inlet opening 17,18 and which have at least one first air outlet opening 20, 21 which is located at the front and at the side and is assigned to a front vehicle footwell as well as at least one second air outlet opening 23, 24 which is located at the rear and is assigned to a rear vehicle footwell and via which the air can be output into the vehicle passenger compartment. Here, the right-hand air duct and the left-hand air duct are each constructed in a longitudinally extending, flat air box 25 or 26 in which in each case the at least one first air outlet opening and the at least one second air outlet opening are provided on the box side pointing towards the vehicle passenger compartment. The air boxes are symmetrical and are mounted extending to the right and left and are arranged in such a way that their air outlet opening distributes the air into the respective foot well close to the vehicle floor.
