A THIRD AND FOURTH SIGNALS (38, 39) DERIVED FROM THE MODULATED SIGNALS ARE TRANSMITTED TO A MICROPROCESSOR (8), FOR EXAMPLE THROUGH ELECTRICAL INSULATION DEVICES (6, 7). THE PROCESSING OF THE THIRD AND FOURTH SIGNALS MAY INCLUDE SOME COUNTERS (88) AND THE GENERATION OF A CLOCK SIGNAL OF CONSTANT FREQUENCY. THE SIGNALS CAN BE AVERAGED DURING A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME TO OBTAIN AN AUTOMATIC ZERO POWER CALIBRATION.
