Abstract
The system is based on the use of a heater/accumulator tank 1, of any conventional type, with its cold-water inlet 2, hot-water outlet 3, resistance element or exchanger 4 and thermostat 5, and with a set or array of solar plates 6 with their corresponding inlet 7 and return 8 piping, with the special feature that said array uses, as hot-water storage tank, the actual heater/accumulator tank 1 to which it is coupled by means of a valve set involving a T-shaped body which directly connects the cold-water inlet 10 and the access 11 for water towards the piping 7 supplying the array 6 of solar plates and via whose middle branch 9 the connection is made to the inlet 2 of the tank 1, whilst the return 8 gives direct access to said tank 1, passing through the valve set 9, by means of an axial, independent pipe 16. A pump 13 establishes water circulation through the array 6 and two electrovalves 12 and 14 controlled by a temperature sensor 16 cancel the solar part of the installation when the temperature of the water supplied by it reaches a pre-set minimum level.
