SEÑALES DE ECO DESDE EL SUELO Y/O CUALQUIER CULTIVO U HOJARASCA QUE INTERVENGA SON REFLEJADOS EN EL TRANSDUCTOR (12) Y PROCESADOS. EL SISTEMA GENERA SEÑALES DE ENVOLTURA DE ECO AMPLIFICADAS Y FILTRADAS. LOS PERIODOS DE MARGEN DE CABEZA Y RASTREO SON DETERMINADOS COMO LOS PERIODOS QUE LAS SEÑALES DE ECO CRUZAN UN VALOR DE HUMBRAL QUE ES UNA CIERTA PARTE DE UN VALOR DE AMPLITUD DE ECO MAXIMO. SE DERIVA UN VALOR DE DISTANCIA CERCANA DEL PERIODO DE MARGEN EN CABEZA DEL PRIMER ECO QUE EXCEDE UNA AMPLITUD MINIMA.
