Abstract

The invention relates to a selector fork for connecting a gear-change finger on a gear lever to a selector sleeve in a manual gearbox, for example that in a passenger vehicle. The proposal is that a selector rail (1) should be assigned both a fork lug (5) for accepting the gear-change finger and an engagement fork (9) with fingers (10, 11) connected by a connecting piece (12) and serving to partially surround the selector sleeve. In this arrangement, the stop lug (15) into which a recess (16) for accepting the selector rail (1a) is formed adjoins the connecting piece (12) in one plane.
