Abstract

Máquina de lavar la ropa que comprende una cuba, un tambor cilíndrico cuyo eje de rotación es horizontal, un dispositivo de alimentación de agua a nivel controlado, un medio de vaciado y un rebosadero que limita la cantidad de agua de llenado de la cuba, el rebosadero dispuesto sobre una pared de la cuba con un agujero de vaciado colocado en un plano sensiblemente horizontal que pasa por el eje de rotación del tambor, en el lado opuesto, con relación al citado eje, de la ola engendrada en la cuba por la rotación del tambor, y en donde el rebosadero está dispuesto sobre una pared lateral sensiblemente plana y vertical de la cuba, caracterizado porque el rebosadero (17) está compuesto de un colector de espuma (19) y de un sifón (20) que forman un conducto compuesto de tres partes tubulares (21, 22, 23) en arco de círculo, colocadas una al lado de otra, concéntricamente al eje de rotación (16) del tambor, estando unidas las tres partes tubulares por dos codos (24, 25) en donde el codo inferior(24) forma con las partes tubulares (21, 22) el colector de espuma y el codo superior (25) forma con las partes tubulares (22, 23) un sifón.
