In der WO 2018/204945 A1 ist ein Möbelscharnier zum gelenkigen Verbinden zweier Türflügel offenbart, wobei ein zwischen den Türflügeln gebildeter Spalt durch eine Abdeckung abdeckbar ist. Das Möbelscharnier weist einen Lagerkörper mit Führungen auf, in welche die Abdeckung zur Befestigung am Möbelscharnier einschiebbar oder aufschnappbar ist. Ein Nachteil dieser Konstruktion besteht darin, dass die Montage und die Demontage der Abdeckung am Möbelscharnier relativ aufwändig sind. Damit sich die Abdeckung in einem montierten Zustand nicht absenkt, muss die Abdeckung nämlich mit einer relativ großen Klemmkraft am Lagerkörper fixiert sein. Dies erschwert zum einen die Montage der Abdeckung am Lagerkörper, zum anderen ist die Abdeckung aufgrund der großen Klemmkraft nur mit einem erheblichen manuellen Kraftaufwand wieder zu lösen. The assembly according to claim 9, characterized in that the at least one counter-abutment (28a, 28b) of the cover (4) extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction (L) of the cover (4), preferably wherein the counter-abutment (28a, 28b) of the cover (4) extends substantially over an entire length of the cover (4).
  11. The assembly according to one of the claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the at least one limiting element (25)
    - protrudes from the cover (4) in a mounted condition of the fastening device (17), preferably wherein the cover (4) has an outer surface (31a) and an inner surface (31b) spaced apart from the outer surface (31a) by a material thickness of the cover (4), the cover (4) being configured to be fixed with the inner surface (31b) to the two fitting portions (12a, 12b) via the fastening device (17), wherein the limiting element (25) protrudes from the inner surface (31b) of the cover (4), and/or
    - includes at least one handle (25a) for positioning the fastening device (17) along the longitudinal direction (L) of the cover (4).
  12. The assembly according to one of the claims 1 to 11, characterized in that a first adjustment device (21) is provided for adjusting the fitting portions (12a, 12b) in a lateral direction to each other, and/or a second adjustment device (22) is provided for adjusting the fitting portions (12a, 12b) in a height direction to each other.
  13. An item of furniture (1) comprising a furniture carcass (2) and at least two furniture parts (3a, 3b) movable relative to the furniture carcass (2), wherein the at least two furniture parts (3a, 3b) are hingedly connected to each other by at least one furniture hinge (15) of the assembly according to one of the claims 1 to 12, preferably wherein the item of furniture (1) includes a first guide rail (5) and at least one second guide rail (6), the first guide rail (5) being arranged substantially parallel to a front side of the furniture carcass (2), and the second guide rail (6) extends transversely, preferably substantially at a right angle, to the first guide rail (5).
  14. The item of furniture (1) according to claim 13, characterized in that the item of furniture (1) includes a carrier (8) hingedly connected to one of the two furniture parts (3a, 3b) and movably supported in a depth direction of the furniture carcass (2).
  15. The item of furniture according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that at least one of the fitting portions (12a, 12b), preferably both fitting portions (12a, 12b), is or are arranged entirely outside a material thickness of the at least two furniture parts (3a, 3b) when mounted on the at least two furniture parts (3a, 3b).
