An abutment device (1) for a roller shutter (2), said roller shutter (2) including two guiderails (5) provided, at the upper end thereof, with a guide element (6) and an apron (3) formed of a plurality of horizontal slats, including a lower final slat (4) provided, at each of the lateral ends thereof, with an inner housing (41), which are hinged to each other and whose lateral ends are displaced vertically inside said guiderails (5), where said abutment device (1) is configured to be inserted at least partly in each inner housing (41) in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the latter and includes a lever (10) pivoting, when the abutment device (1) is inserted, about a horizontal axis (11) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said housing (41), and including at least one protrusion (14) which, when the abutment device (1) is inserted, is displaced inside the associated guiderail (5) and is capable of abutting against the guide element (6) to block the final slat (4) when the roller shutter (2) is raised, the lever (10) pivoting between a "low" position in which the protrusion (14) protrudes from the lower longitudinal edge of said final slat (4) allowing the total erasure of said final slat (4) when said roller shutter (2) is totally open, and a "high" position in which the protrusion (14) does not protrude from said lower longitudinal edge allowing a total occultation when said roller shutter (2) is completely closed.
  2. The abutment device (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that each lever (10) comprises at least one abutment capable of abutting against the inner wall of the housing (41) of said final slat (4), when said lever (10) is in the "low" position.
  3. The abutment device (1) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that each lever (10) is generally L-shaped and comprises a first generally horizontal wing (12) and a second wing (13) originating from one of the ends of said first wing (12) and extending downwards substantially perpendicular to the latter, said lever (10) pivoting at the free end of the first wing (12) thereof and said protrusion (14) being secured to the free end of said second wing (13) and extending across the latter in a direction parallel to the pivot axis (11) of the lever (10).
  4. The abutment device (1) according to claim 3, characterised in that each lever (10) comprises two abutments (15, 16) which are disposed, diagonally opposite, respectively along the lower and upper edges of the first wing (12) thereof.
  5. The abutment device (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that it includes a support (20) on which each lever (10) is pivotally mounted.
  6. The abutment device (1) according to claim 5, characterised in that each support (20) includes return means tending to return the lever (10) to its "high" position.
  7. The abutment device (1) according to any one of claims 5 or 6, characterised in that each support (20) consists of a first portion (21) having a recess (24) such that the cross section thereof is generally C-shaped, and a second portion (21) being a plate which is bearingly secured against said first portion (21) so as to close the recess (24), the lever (10) being partially disposed inside the support (20) in said recess (24).
  8. The abutment device (1) according to claims 2 and 7, characterised in that the first portion (21) of the support (20) includes cutouts (25, 26) to allow the passage of the abutment(s) (15, 16) when said lever (10) is in the "low" position.
  9. The abutment device (1) according to claim 6 and any one of claims 7 or 8, characterised in that the return means are a flexible tab (27) which is elastically secured to the first portion (21) of said support (20).
