Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a household dishwasher with a washing container which has a casing and a rear wall which is connected to the casing, and a base support which has a support surface on which the rear wall is supported on a lower edge thereof in the vertical direction.
  • Domestic dishwashers are known to include a washing container with a shell and a back wall.
  • the casing and the back wall are typically made of sheet metal.
  • the jacket has a circumferential flange.
  • a seal is arranged between the flange and the rear wall.
  • the jacket is connected to the rear wall by spot welding in the area of its flange. The appropriately clamped seal ensures the desired seal between the jacket and the rear wall.
  • the publication DE 10 2009 000 174 A1 discloses a dishwasher, in particular a household dishwasher, with a washing container which has an externally arranged flange arrangement, and with a base support which has a laterally acting guide arrangement, into which the washing container is inserted from above.
  • the flange arrangement has a holding section which is bent so that it cooperates with a downward-facing surface of the guide arrangement in such a way that the washing container is positively connected to the base support.
  • the publication EP 2 625 997 A1 discloses a dishwasher with a structure comprising a washing container made of a metal material, which extends from a base electrically non-conductive material, the base having a plurality of peripheral walls which define a housing space for a plurality of electrical loads which can be supplied by means of a supply cable for connection to an AC network, wherein between the supply cable and the plurality of electrical loads Filter device is provided, which comprises an interference filter, and wherein the filter device is attached to a wall of the base.
  • the interference filter has a connection made of a metal material for grounding the washing container, comprising a metal clip which has a contact section.
  • the publication DE 196 11 055 A1 discloses a dishwasher with a machine base on which a washing container can be placed.
  • the rinsing container lies directly on the upper edge of the machine base on the back, which avoids additional expenses for storing the rinsing container on the back.
  • the flanges of the rear wall can protrude beyond the flanges of the sheet metal part of the other parts of the washing container when dismantled. These protruding parts of the flanges can then be bent in the direction of the sheet metal part of the other parts of the washing container, which overlap the flanges.
  • an object of the present invention is to provide an improved household dishwasher.
  • a household dishwasher is provided with a washing container and a base support.
  • the washing container has a jacket and a rear wall which is connected to the jacket, and the base support has a first support surface on which the rear wall is supported on a lower edge thereof in the vertical direction.
  • the base support has a second support surface, which is designed so that the jacket with an end section on the rear wall of the same is supported in the vertical direction when the household dishwasher is accelerated negatively.
  • the second support surface is designed in the form of a trough that corresponds to the shape of the jacket.
  • the base support provides a first and a second support surface
  • the fall energy from the jacket when the household dishwasher hits the Soil, as described in the introduction can be guided particularly conveniently into the base support. This avoids plastic deformation of the washing container, especially at the connection point between the jacket and the rear wall. Accordingly, the desired tightness can always be guaranteed.
  • “Negative acceleration” here means any abrupt braking of the household dishwasher, for example when it falls to the floor with its base support from a height of, for example, one meter or greater.
  • a distance is provided between the second support surface and the rear wall-side end section of the jacket. This takes into account any manufacturing tolerances. The distance is consumed during the above-mentioned negative acceleration by deformation of the washing container and/or the base support, so that the second support surface comes into contact with the rear wall-side end section of the jacket.
  • the lower edge of the rear wall is preferably always supported on the support surface, i.e. regardless of accelerations of the household dishwasher, and is therefore in contact with it.
  • the jacket can, but does not have to, be manufactured as a one-piece component.
  • the jacket can be produced as a one-piece component from a sheet metal blank by deep drawing.
  • the shell is made of a bottom, two side walls and a top wall.
  • the parts mentioned can be manufactured as individual parts and connected to one another.
  • the side walls and the top wall can be provided as a (U-shaped) one-piece component, in particular sheet metal.
  • the base can be manufactured as a separate part and connected to the aforementioned U-shaped component.
  • the base can be made of plastic, but also of metal, especially sheet metal. As far as sheet metal is used here, it can also be a stainless steel sheet.
  • the “vertical” direction is to be understood to mean that deviations of up to 10 degrees, preferably up to 5 degrees, from the vertical are also included.
  • the trough can also be referred to as a free-form surface.
  • the trough is shaped in such a way that the shape of the jacket intervenes in it at least slightly.
  • the trough is designed to hang freely between two side support sections and a rear support section of the base support and is supported on a bottom of the base support using one or more ribs.
  • This freely hanging fastening of the trough, in the manner of a hammock, allows a relatively small deformation of the base support in order to absorb the fall energy, but not to damage the washing container.
  • the base support has a longitudinal web which is recessed in the area of the trough, one of the two lateral support sections being formed on an upper edge of the longitudinal web delimiting the recess.
  • the base support has a further longitudinal web, which forms the other of the two lateral support sections.
  • the further longitudinal web preferably provides a lower supporting section of the trough. “Higher” and “lower” here also refer to the gravity vector. In other words, one of the two-sided support sections is higher than the other of the two side support sections, relative to a bottom of the base support.
  • the base support has a crossbar which forms the rear support section.
  • the transverse web runs perpendicular to the longitudinal web and/or the further longitudinal web.
  • “Vertical” here also includes deviations from the vertical of up to 10 degrees, preferably up to 5 degrees.
  • the longitudinal web connects to the transverse web via a material thinning and/or wherein the longitudinal web is formed with a bevel adjacent to the transverse web.
  • the base support has two second support surfaces for supporting a respective rear wall-side end section of the jacket.
  • the end section or sections on the rear wall have rounded transitions between a base and a respective side wall of the jacket.
  • the base support has a shaft which forms the first support surface on its bottom, with the rear wall engaging into the shaft from above.
  • the washing container is placed on the base support from above.
  • the rear wall increasingly engages with the shaft until its lower edge comes into contact with the bottom of the shaft.
  • the end sections on the rear wall in particular the rounded transitions, increasingly approach the respective assigned trough.
  • the shaft has insertion ribs which are designed to insert the rear wall into the shaft and to bring the lower edge into contact with the support surface.
  • the insertion ribs limit deformation of the rear wall in the horizontal, but preferably also in the vertical direction. A buckling or denting of the rear wall is avoided.
  • the shaft has exactly two insertion ribs over its entire length parallel to the width of the rear wall.
  • the base support has a crossbar and a rear wall, which form the shaft between them, the insertion ribs extending from the crossbar towards the rear wall, the crossbar being formed with a notch adjacent to a respective insertion rib.
  • the notch weakens the crossbar in the area of the insertion rib, so that the insertion ribs can deform more. This is in response to a deformation of the rear wall when the household dishwasher falls or hits the ground.
  • a distance between the second support surface and the rear wall-side end section of the casing is between 0.2 and 1.2 mm, preferably between 0.6 and 1 mm, even more preferably between 0.7 and 0.9 mm.
  • This distance is measured between the top of the second support surface and the underside of the rear wall-side end section of the jacket. A distance dimensioned in this way is well suited to accommodate the resulting manufacturing tolerances.
  • the base support is made of plastic and/or the jacket is made of sheet metal.
  • the jacket is connected to the rear wall using spot welds and/or a seal is arranged between the jacket and the rear wall.
  • the Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a household dishwasher 1.
  • the household dishwasher 1 comprises a washing container 2, which can be closed, in particular watertight, by a door 3.
  • a sealing device can be provided between the door 3 and the washing container 2.
  • the washing container 2 is preferably cuboid.
  • the washing container 2 can be arranged in a housing of the household dishwasher 1.
  • the washing container 2 and the door 3 can form a washing space 4 for washing items to be washed.
  • Door 3 is in the Fig. 1 shown in its open position.

  • the jacket 17 is cut out and transparent in the Fig. 4 shown.
  • the jacket 17 includes in particular the bottom 7 (see also Fig. 1 ) and the side wall 10 of the washing container 2 (see also Fig. 1 ).
  • the bottom 7 and the side wall 10 adjoin each other via a rounded transition 18.
  • the transition 18 is also arranged in an end wall section of the casing 17 on the rear wall. It is located adjacent to the rear wall 9. It should be noted that both the casing 17 and the rear wall 9 are only partially shown.
  • the jacket 17 Adjacent to the rear wall 9, the jacket 17 has a flange 19.
  • the flange 19 is welded to the rear wall 9 via spot welds 20.
  • a seal 21 arranged between the flange 19 and the rear wall 9 is squeezed between them in order to reliably seal the connection point between the flange 19 and the rear wall 9.
  • the trough 16 has a shape which corresponds to the transition 18. This means that the transition 18 engages in the trough 16.
  • the interlocking of the transition 18 and the trough 16 is in the Fig. 5 can be seen, which shows the jacket 17 in a state placed on the base support 15.
  • the rear wall 9 is not shown for the sake of clarity.
  • the jacket 17 is also shown transparent in order to reveal the parts of the base support 15 underneath.
  • the trough 16 supports the jacket 17 in the area of the transition 18 in the vertical direction z, but due to its shape, also in the horizontal direction, i.e. both in the direction marked x (arrow).
  • the trough 16 is freely hanging - in the manner of a hammock - between two side support sections 22, 23 and a rear support section 24.
  • the trough 16 is supported downwards via two ribs 25, as in view VII from the Fig. 2 seen.
  • the ribs 25 each connect downwards to a bottom 26 of the base support 15.
  • the support section 22 is higher in the vertical direction z than the support section 23.
  • the support section 22 adjoins an upper edge 27 of a longitudinal web 28 of the base support 15.
  • the upper edge 27 limits a recess 29 at the top.
  • the recess 29 in the longitudinal web 28 is in the Fig. 7 to recognize.
  • the aforementioned base 26 forms a lower boundary of the recess 29.
  • the base support 15 has an additional longitudinal web 30.
  • the longitudinal web 30 forms the second lateral support section 23 on its upper edge.
  • the base support 15 includes a crossbar 31, which forms the rear support section 24.
  • the transverse web 31 runs at right angles to the longitudinal webs 28, 30.
  • the longitudinal webs preferably extend in the x direction and the transverse webs extend in the y direction.
  • the trough 16 connects to the crossbar 31 via a material thinning 32.

  • the washing container 2 is supported on a first support surface 34 (see Fig. 2 ) on the base support 15.
  • the support surface is formed by a shaft bottom 34.
  • a corresponding shaft 35 (see Fig. 2 and 3 ) is defined between the crossbar 31 and a rear wall 36 of the base support 15.
  • the shaft 35 is limited on its underside by the shaft bottom 34.
  • Exactly two vertically extending insertion ribs 37 protrude from the crossbar 31 in the direction of the rear wall 36. However, only one of the insertion ribs 37 is shown.
  • a second one is located in the opposite corner area of the base support 15. In this respect, one can also speak of a mirror-symmetrical arrangement.
  • the axis of symmetry is in the Fig. 1 denoted by S and extends along the device depth x (arrow) and divides the device width y (arrow) into two mirror-symmetrical halves.
  • FIG. 3 which is a view III from the Fig. 2 shows, it is shown there that the insertion rib 37 increasingly widens in the direction of the shaft bottom 34. It guides the rear wall 9 or one in the Fig. 4 shown section 38 of the same when the washing container 2 is placed on the base support 15, so that the rear wall 9 or the section 38 slides increasingly downwards into the shaft 35 and are thereby increasingly pressed towards the rear wall 36 via the spreading insertion ribs 37. This continues until one in the Fig. 4 The lower edge of the rear wall 9, designated 39, comes into contact with the shaft bottom 34, that is to say rests on it. The engagement of the rear wall 9 or the section 38 in the shaft 35 is in the Fig. 6 to recognize, whereby these are also like that Fig. 5 shows the assembled state of the washing container 2 and base support 15.
  • the Fig. 6 a view VI from the Fig. 5 represents.
  • the shaft 35 has exactly the two insertion ribs 37 over its entire length L (arrow), it allows a comparatively large deformation of the rear wall 9 in the horizontal direction, i.e. in the plane spanned by the vectors x, y. This deformability is further promoted by the material thinning 32. Adjacent to the insertion rib 37, the transverse web 31 can also have notches 40, 41, which further weaken it in terms of material technology. The notches 40, 41 run parallel in the vertical direction z (arrow) and parallel to the insertion rib 37 and are offset from one another in the y direction.
  • the base support 15 can be made of plastic, for example as a plastic injection molded component.
  • the jacket 17 can be made from one-piece or multi-piece sheet metal, in particular stainless steel sheet.
