Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verdichtungsvorrichtung sowie ein Streckwerk für eine Verdichtungsvorrichtung, wobei die Verdichtungsvorrichtung für ein Streckwerk einer Spinnmaschine, insbesondere Ringspinnmaschine, zur Verdichtung eines verstreckten Faserbandes, mit einer Verdichtungszone, in der mittels einer Saugöffnung (4) eine Saugströmung senkrecht zur Fasertransportrichtung erzeugt wird. Über eine Verlagerung des Stützkörpers kann somit in besonders einfacher und komfortabler Weise der durch die Führungsrolle auf das Verdichtungsriemchen bzw. zwischen dem Verdichtungsriemchen und der Führungsrolle angeordnete Faserband ausgeübte Druck eingestellt werden.
