Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for the temporary cooling of goods to be cooled by means of a device.
- Devices for cooling goods such as food
- the food is temporarily sorted into the mobile cooling device and further cooled there. After the cleaning, repair or maintenance of the stationary refrigerated shelf has been completed, the food can be removed from the temporary cooling device and placed back in the corresponding refrigerated shelf.
- Such a mobile cooling device goes, for example, from the DE 10 2016 113 728 B4 emerged.
- the cooling device has a flexible hood delimiting an interior space, an assembly generating cold air and an air supply line.
- the goods to be cooled, in particular food are removed from the stationary refrigerated shelf and stacked on a pallet inside the hood.
- the air supply line extends approximately over the entire length of the hood.
- the hood and the air supply line nestle against the contours of the food in order to keep the volume to be cooled within the room as low as possible and to avoid dead volume. In a lower area of the mobile cooling device, air is sucked out of the interior and returned to the unit.
- the cooling device described can be set up quickly at appropriate locations and offers sufficient capacity to ensure sufficient cooling performance even in hot climates.
- the cooling device has a casing which surrounds an interior space, and a plurality of shelf devices arranged in the interior space.
- a shelf device consists of several shelves, each of which consists of individual struts arranged at a distance from one another.
- the air located in the interior leaves the interior via an outlet cross-section located in the envelope.
- the air can circulate through the interior through the openings between the struts, so that the corpses are adequately cooled.
- the envelope is airtight.
- the cooling device can also be used to cool food at celebrations or events.
- a mobile cooling device for the temporary cooling of goods with a shelf device located in an interior space enclosed by an insulating cover is known.
- the known device is provided as a singular, cuboid, sheathed shelf, which has a height between 1.2 m and 1.6 m, a length between 0.8 m and 1.4 m and a width / depth between 0.6 m and 0 , 8 m. If larger volumes of the cooled interior are required for a correspondingly large amount of goods to be cooled, several such devices would have to be used, each with its own cooling unit.
- the one from the US 2008/0155993 A1 known cooling system an increase in efficiency is sought in that only a single cooling unit is present, with the refrigerant of which a plurality of cooling devices, in particular in the kitchen area, are supplied.
- This can be, for example, a refrigerator, a freezer, an ice maker, a wine cooler or the like.
- the previously known cooling system is, however, not suitable for temporarily accommodating goods to be cooled in the retail sector; in particular, the various cooling devices are not suitable for accommodating a shelf system.
- the US 2012/0096893 A1 discloses a mobile cooling device which is provided with a removable insulating cover in order to enclose an interior shelving system in a thermally insulated manner. This document also mentions that a plurality of such individual units can be connected to one another in order to form a larger overall system which can be provided with one or more cooling units.
- the previously known mobile cooling device comes from military use and is used in particular to accommodate corpses.
- the US 2017/0150829 A1 a refrigeration cabinet in the manner of a showcase is known, in the inner shelf device of which food such as meat, fish, dairy products, etc. can be accommodated and presented.
- the upper cover of the refrigerated cabinet can be used to create access openings through doors or lids.
- the cooling device itself is located close to the floor in the lower area of the interior to be cooled.
- the known device is unsuitable for accommodating a large amount of food which is temporarily obtained when cleaning refrigerated cabinets, such as are available in large numbers in the food retail trade.
- the time which elapses from the point in time at which a food item is placed in the device until the point in time at which the refrigeration of the food item is started again should be minimized in order to avoid exceeding a maximum temperature of the food item.
- this period is shortened since the total number of goods is divided into two sections and thus remains uncooled for a shorter period of time. If the method according to the invention is applied to two sections of the racking device, the period in which the goods in question remain uncooled is halved.
- the method according to the invention accordingly creates extremely efficient cooling of the goods, in which an interruption in the cold chain is minimized.
- Method steps a) to f) do not necessarily represent the only conceivable time sequence in the procedure.
- the coupling of the sections mentioned in step f) can also be carried out before step d) or before step e).
- a further part of the goods to be cooled is placed on a further section of the shelf device or placed in a further section of the shelf device, the further section of the shelf device except for an overflow cross-section by means of a further section of the casing is encased, whereby a further interior containing the further part of the goods to be cooled is generated within the further section of the cover, the further section of the shelf device and the first or the second section of the shelf device being coupled to one another so that the further section of the Envelope and the first section or the second section of the envelope together envelop the further interior space and the first interior space or the second interior space, a further overflow cross-section being generated in the first section of the envelope or in the second section of the envelope, which with d em overflow cross-section in the first section or the second section of the envelope corresponds, so that air can flow through the further overflow cross-section and the overflow cross-section in the first section or the second section of the envelope.
- the method according to the invention is applied to three sections of the shelf device.
- the method according to the invention can be extended to any number of sections of the shelf device, such as 4, 5, 6 or more sections, which are then filled, wrapped and cooled with the preceding sections one after the other.
- the first section can be arranged at one end of the row or at any position within the row. If the first section is arranged in a central position, it is possible to position a second and third section at the same time on one end face of the first section, i.e. on opposite sides, so that the method according to the invention with the equipping of the second and third section, the Wrapping of the second and third sections and the opening of the respective overflow cross-sections can again be carried out more efficiently.
- the cooling unit can be arranged on a narrow side of the row (front side) on a longitudinal side of the row. This can be freely chosen depending on the local conditions.
- a further development of the invention provides that the sections of the shelf device and the sections of the casing each have two matching long sides and two parallel narrow sides in a plan view and that two sections of the shelf device are coupled to each facing narrow sides.
- the narrow sides can also be referred to as front sides.
- an overflow cross-section of the sections of the cover extends essentially over an entire area of a narrow side of the cover. A maximum possible overflow cross-section is thus provided.
- a particularly convenient way of creating an overflow cross-section is that a region of a section of a cover is separated from the rest of the cover is removed, with a connection between the part of the envelope to be removed and the rest of the envelope by means of a releasable fastener, in particular by means of at least one zipper and / or at least one Velcro fastener and / or at least one magnetic fastener and / or at least one adhesive fastener.
- a releasable fastener in particular by means of at least one zipper and / or at least one Velcro fastener and / or at least one magnetic fastener and / or at least one adhesive fastener.
- the Figure 1 shows a three-dimensional view of a device 1 for the temporary cooling of goods to be cooled, wherein in FIG Figure 1 for the sake of clarity, no goods are shown.
- the device 1 comprises a shelf device 2, which is composed of a plurality of sections 3, wherein in the Figure 1 only a first section 3 can be seen.
- the shelf device 2 comprises four shelves 4, 5, of which a lowermost shelf 5 has a greater depth than the other shelves 4.
- a heat-insulating envelope 6 is also shown, which envelops the first section 3 of the shelf device 2 in such a way that a first interior space I is created.
- the heat-insulating sheath 6 is also composed of a plurality of sections 7, wherein in the Figure 1 again only a first section 7 of the casing 6 is shown.
- the first section 7 of the envelope 6 is composed of two side walls 8, two end walls 9 and a ceiling 10, each of which along edges 11 with edges 11 respectively adjacent side or end walls 8, 9 or the ceiling 10 by means of one unspecified Velcro shown are connected to each other, so that a five-sided closed first interior I is formed.
- One in front of the Figure 1 The front wall located is not shown for the sake of clarity.
- the four side or end walls 8, 9 abut the lower shelf 5 all the way along the lower sides 12, so that the lower shelf 5 represents a sixth closed side of the first interior space I and a first interior space I that is closed on all sides is created.
- the four side walls of the envelope extend as far as an installation surface, such as a floor F, whereby the floor F would form a sixth closed side wall.
- the device 1 also comprises a cooling unit 13 for generating a cold gas, which is arranged on an end face 14 of the device 1.

- the first section 3 of the shelf device 2 is equipped with a first part, not shown, of the goods to be cooled.
- the first section 3 of the shelf device 2 is then completely enveloped by means of the first section 7 of the heat-insulating casing 6, so that the first interior space I is delimited.
- the cooling unit 13 the gas is then introduced into the first interior space I and distributed therein in order to cool the goods stored therein accordingly.
- the second section 19 of the shelf device 2 is enveloped by means of a second section 21 of the envelope 6 except for an overflow cross section 20, whereby a second interior space I 2 containing the second part of the goods to be cooled is generated within the second section 21 of the envelope 6.
- the second section 21 of the envelope 6 again comprises two side walls 8 and a ceiling 10, but only one end wall, which is in the front area of the Figure 2 arranged, but is not shown for the sake of clarity.
- the end wall, not shown, is therefore located on the left end face of the shelf device Figure 2 .
- joints between adjacent walls 8, 9 or ceilings 10 of the first and second sections 7, 21 of the casing 6 are connected to one another, so that a common and tight casing 6 is created for the two interiors I, I 2 .

Description
The invention relates to a method for the temporary cooling of goods to be cooled by means of a device.
Devices for cooling goods, such as food, are known and are required in the cleaning, repair or maintenance of stationary refrigerated shelves in supermarkets or food discounters in order to further cool the food to be chilled therein so that the cold chain is not interrupted. For this purpose, the food is temporarily sorted into the mobile cooling device and further cooled there. After the cleaning, repair or maintenance of the stationary refrigerated shelf has been completed, the food can be removed from the temporary cooling device and placed back in the corresponding refrigerated shelf.

In the case of temporary cooling of goods, such as those that arise in large quantities when cleaning retail refrigerated cabinets for refrigerated interim storage, rapid assembly and dismantling of the mobile device and the possible accommodation of all goods located in the stationary refrigerated shelf are particularly desirable. In addition, the period of time during which the goods, in particular perishable foods, are not refrigerated, should be kept as short as possible.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to further develop a known method for the temporary cooling of goods to be cooled in such a way that both the construction and the equipping of the device take place as efficiently as possible. In particular, the time which elapses from the point in time at which a food item is placed in the device until the point in time at which the refrigeration of the food item is started again should be minimized in order to avoid exceeding a maximum temperature of the food item.
- a) A first part of the goods to be cooled is placed on a first section of the shelf device or placed in a first section of the shelf device.
- b) The first section of the shelf device is enveloped by means of a first section of the envelope, whereby a first interior space containing the first part of the goods to be cooled is produced within the first section of the envelope.
- c) By means of the cooling unit, the gas is introduced into the first interior space and distributed therein.
- d) A second part of the goods to be cooled is placed on a second section of the shelf device or placed in the second section of the shelf device.
- e) The second section of the shelf device is encased except for an overflow cross-section by means of a second section of the envelope, whereby a second interior containing the second part of the goods to be cooled is created within the second section of the envelope.
- f) The first section of the shelf device and the second section of the shelf device are coupled to one another in such a way that the first section of the envelope and the second section of the envelope jointly envelop the first interior space and the second interior space, with an overflow cross-section in the envelope in the first section is generated, which corresponds to the overflow cross-section of the second section of the envelope, so that air can flow through the overflow cross-sections from the first interior space into the second interior space.
With the method according to the invention, a gradual filling of the shelf device and gradual cooling of the goods is carried out, so that the relocated goods only remain uncooled for a short period of time. In the workflow according to the invention, the sequence of work steps "depositing the goods to be cooled in a section of the shelf device" and "enveloping a section of the shelf device" and "introducing the cold gas" results for each section, with the same sequence then being carried out for the second section becomes. Accordingly, the goods in a section are cooled promptly after they have been placed in the respective section of the racking device.
In conventional methods for the temporary cooling of goods to be cooled, in a first step all goods to be cooled are removed from the stationary refrigerated shelf and stored outside. Only when all the goods have been relocated is a casing attached and cooling started. Thus, the period in which the goods remain unrefrigerated depends on the time required to relocate the entire goods.
According to the method according to the invention, this period is shortened since the total number of goods is divided into two sections and thus remains uncooled for a shorter period of time. If the method according to the invention is applied to two sections of the racking device, the period in which the goods in question remain uncooled is halved.
The method according to the invention accordingly creates extremely efficient cooling of the goods, in which an interruption in the cold chain is minimized.
Method steps a) to f) do not necessarily represent the only conceivable time sequence in the procedure. In particular, the coupling of the sections mentioned in step f) can also be carried out before step d) or before step e).
According to an advantageous development of the method, it is provided that a further part of the goods to be cooled is placed on a further section of the shelf device or placed in a further section of the shelf device, the further section of the shelf device except for an overflow cross-section by means of a further section of the casing is encased, whereby a further interior containing the further part of the goods to be cooled is generated within the further section of the cover, the further section of the shelf device and the first or the second section of the shelf device being coupled to one another so that the further section of the Envelope and the first section or the second section of the envelope together envelop the further interior space and the first interior space or the second interior space, a further overflow cross-section being generated in the first section of the envelope or in the second section of the envelope, which with d em overflow cross-section in the first section or the second section of the envelope corresponds, so that air can flow through the further overflow cross-section and the overflow cross-section in the first section or the second section of the envelope.
In the aforementioned manner, the method according to the invention is applied to three sections of the shelf device. By dividing the goods into three sections, a A third of the period in which the goods in question remain unrefrigerated compared to conventional methods.
It goes without saying that the method according to the invention can be extended to any number of sections of the shelf device, such as 4, 5, 6 or more sections, which are then filled, wrapped and cooled with the preceding sections one after the other.
It has proven to be very advantageous if all the sections of the shelf device are arranged in a row. This is particularly advantageous for the introduction of the cold gas, which flows well into the interior space created last when the shelf device runs in a straight line. If the adjacent sections run at an angle, the distribution of the cold gas is less effective.
The first section can be arranged at one end of the row or at any position within the row.
The cooling unit can be arranged on a narrow side of the row (front side) on a longitudinal side of the row. This can be freely chosen depending on the local conditions.
A further development of the invention provides that the sections of the shelf device and the sections of the casing each have two matching long sides and two parallel narrow sides in a plan view and that two sections of the shelf device are coupled to each facing narrow sides. The narrow sides can also be referred to as front sides.
In order to ensure an effective flow of the cold gas and an associated cooling of all goods located in the racking device, it is advantageously provided that an overflow cross-section of the sections of the cover extends essentially over an entire area of a narrow side of the cover. A maximum possible overflow cross-section is thus provided.
A particularly convenient way of creating an overflow cross-section is that a region of a section of a cover is separated from the rest of the cover is removed, with a connection between the part of the envelope to be removed and the rest of the envelope by means of a releasable fastener, in particular by means of at least one zipper and / or at least one Velcro fastener and / or at least one magnetic fastener and / or at least one adhesive fastener. By means of the releasable closure, the handling of the part of the cover that is to be removed is particularly simple and it can be removed quickly.
With regard to the increasing required cooling capacity associated with the increasing number of sections, it is particularly advantageous if the capacity of the cooling unit is increased as the number of sections of the racking device coupled to one another increases.
The invention described above is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment that is shown in the figures.

Finally, the
For the method according to the invention, the first section 3 of the shelf device 2 is equipped with a first part, not shown, of the goods to be cooled. The first section 3 of the shelf device 2 is then completely enveloped by means of the first section 7 of the heat-insulating casing 6, so that the first interior space I is delimited. By means of the cooling

An end wall of the second section 21 of the casing 6 facing the first section 3 of the shelf device 2 is dispensed with, since this end face forms the
In a further step, joints between
In order to obtain the
