In general, when cooking on hobs, temperature regulation or temperature control when heating the cookware placed on the hob is desirable in order, for example, to increase ease of use for a user and/or to improve the quality of the cooking process. Furthermore, this problem is solved by an induction cooking system having the features of
The advantage that can be achieved with the invention is, in particular, that temperature detection is improved in the case of induction cookware. By means of the invention, it is now possible to detect the temperature in an induction cooking utensil for an induction cooking system in a manner that is simple in terms of design and circuitry. Due to the multiple use of the induction coil of the induction cookware, on the one hand, a reduction in components and, on the other hand, a space-saving design of the temperature sensor and thus of the induction cookware is made possible. Furthermore, the additional structural and circuitry complexity in the production of the induction cooking utensil according to the invention is reduced. In addition, the temperature detection of the induction cookware according to the invention is implemented independently of the induction cooktop of the induction cooking system, since the temperature of the induction cookware is detected entirely by means of the induction cookware. The induction cooking utensil according to the invention can be freely selected within wide suitable limits and can be designed, for example, as a saucepan or as a pan.
In principle, the induction coil of the induction cookware can be freely selected in terms of type, material, dimensioning, geometry, arrangement and number within wide, suitable limits. An advantageous development of the induction cookware according to the invention provides that the material of the induction coil has a temperature-dependent electrical resistance. As a result, the induction cookware according to the invention can be implemented in a particularly simple manner.
An advantageous development of the aforementioned embodiment of the induction cookware according to the invention provides that the temperature dependency of the electrical resistance is essentially linear in an operating temperature range of the induction cookware. In this way, the evaluation of the output signals from the temperature sensor, ie the induction coil of the induction cookware, is simplified.
An advantageous development of the last two embodiments of the induction cookware according to the invention provides that the electrical resistance of the Material of the induction coil has a higher temperature dependence in a predetermined operating temperature sub-range of an operating temperature range of the induction cookware compared to operating temperatures of the induction cookware outside of this operating temperature sub-range. In this partial operating temperature range of the operating temperature range of the induction cooking utensil according to the invention, a particularly precise temperature measurement of the induction cooking utensil is thereby made possible.
A particularly advantageous development of the induction cookware according to the invention provides that the induction coil is arranged on or in a base of the induction cookware. The temperature of the induction cookware on or in the base of the induction cookware is particularly interesting and advantageous for temperature regulation or temperature control of the induction cookware. Furthermore, this results in a simple assignment of the induction coil of the induction cooking utensil to the inductive heating coil of the induction hob of the induction cooking system according to the invention.
As already explained above, the geometry of the induction coil can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits. An advantageous further development of the aforementioned embodiment of the induction cooking utensil according to the invention provides that the induction coil is designed and arranged in such a way that it is arranged on or in the base at different radial distances from a center of the base. In this way, the quality of the base-side temperature detection is improved in the induction cookware according to the invention. This is the case because the temperature recorded by means of the induction coil represents a mean value over the entire induction coil, that is, for example, over an entire winding length of an induction coil designed as a winding. If the aforementioned winding forms a circle, for example, only the temperatures at the circular contact surface of the induction coil with the base are determined, ie only along a single radial distance from the center of the base of the induction cookware.
An advantageous development of the last-mentioned embodiment of the induction cooking utensil according to the invention provides that the induction coil has a plurality of circular line segments which are electrically conductively connected to one another and arranged concentrically to one another. As a result, the quality of the base-side temperature detection in the induction cookware according to the invention is improved in a structurally particularly simple manner.
An advantageous development of the method according to the invention provides that the inductive heating coil of the induction cooktop is energized for the purpose of heating the induction cookware while the temperature of the induction cookware is being recorded is interrupted. In this way, the quality of the temperature detection in the induction cooking utensil according to the invention is improved in a simple manner in terms of circuitry. For example, the operation of the inductive heating coil of the induction hob of the induction cooking system according to the invention can be clocked in such a way that the temperature is measured in the induction cookware according to the invention in the cycle times in which the inductive heating coil of the induction hob is not energized. These cycle times can expediently be chosen to be very short, so that, for example, heating of the induction cookware by means of the induction hob is not noticeably delayed.
Alternatively, a further advantageous development of the method according to the invention provides that the output signals of the induction coil designed as a temperature sensor are evaluated in the controller in such a way that a DC component corresponding to the measured DC voltage is separated from an AC component of an AC voltage coupled into the induction coil by means of the inductive heating coil . This enables high-quality temperature detection in the induction cooking utensil according to the invention, even while the inductive heating coil of the induction hob of the induction cooking system according to the invention is being energized. The inductive heating of the induction cookware by means of the inductive heating coil of the induction cooktop and the temperature detection in the induction cookware by means of the induction coil of the induction cookware designed as a temperature sensor can take place simultaneously.

After the user has selected the desired cooking level for heating the
According to the invention, the
So that the temperature detection explained above by means of the
The method according to the invention for operating the induction cooking system according to the invention according to the present exemplary embodiment is identical for the two exemplary embodiments of the induction cookware according to the invention explained above.
By means of the invention according to the present exemplary embodiments, it is thus possible to detect the temperature in an induction cooking utensil for an induction cooking system in a manner that is simple in terms of design and circuitry. Due to the multiple use of the induction coil of the induction cookware, on the one hand a reduction in components and on the other hand a space-saving design of the temperature sensor and thus the Induction cookware allows.
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments explained above. For example, the invention can be used advantageously both in the household and in the professional field. Furthermore, the induction cooking utensil according to the invention can be freely selected within wide suitable limits and can also be designed as a pan, for example. In addition, the type, material, dimensioning, geometry, arrangement and number of the induction coil can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits. For example, materials and geometries for the induction coil that deviate from the above-mentioned material and the above-mentioned geometry of the induction coil are also possible.
It is also conceivable that the electrical resistance of the material of the induction coil has a higher temperature dependency in a predetermined partial operating temperature range of an operating temperature range compared to operating temperatures of the induction cooking utensil outside of this partial operating temperature range. In this partial operating temperature range of the operating temperature range of the induction cooking utensil according to the invention, a particularly precise temperature measurement of the induction cooking utensil is thereby made possible.
In contrast to the method explained above, it is also possible for the output signals of the induction coil designed as a temperature sensor to be evaluated in the controller in such a way that a DC component corresponding to the measured DC voltage is separated from an AC component of an AC voltage coupled into the induction coil by means of the inductive heating coil . For example, this can be done using low-pass filtering.
According to a further aspect of the invention, the provision of electrical energy in the induction cooking utensil can also be carried out simultaneously with the inductive heating of the induction cooking utensil and/or the temperature detection in the induction cooking utensil by means of the induction coil of the induction cookware designed as a temperature sensor.
