The surface to be vacuumed can for example be tiles, parquet, laminate, carpet or carpet.

The document FR3062562 describes a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising a sole provided with a lower face and a suction cavity opening onto the lower face, at least one brush, a connecting sleeve configured to communicate fluidly with the suction cavity, and a fork which is arranged between the sole and the connection sleeve and which is mounted in pivot connections of transverse pivot axes with respect to the sole and the connection sleeve, said vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising a mechanism for A brush actuation comprising a joystick configured to occupy at least a first joystick position, a second joystick position and a third joystick position, the brush actuation mechanism being configured to:
  • when the joystick is moved into the first joystick position, allowing the fork to pivot relative to the sole and positioning the at least one brush in a lowered position in which the at least one brush projects from the underside ,
  • when the joystick is moved to the second joystick position, allow the fork to pivot relative to the sole and position the at least one brush in a raised position in which the at least one brush is set back from the underside,
  • when the lever is moved into the third lever position, blocking the pivoting of the fork relative to the sole and maintaining the at least one brush in the raised position,
said brush actuation mechanism also comprising a joystick indexing system configured to hold the joystick in at least the first, second and third joystick positions.

Such a vacuum cleaner nozzle is configured in such a way that, when the pivoting of the fork with respect to the sole is blocked, the sole occupies a predetermined position which provides the vacuum cleaner nozzle with suction performance and particularly for vacuuming certain soft floors.

In order to avoid undesirable movement of the lever, in particular from the third position of the lever to the second position of the lever when using the vacuum cleaner nozzle (such a movement could be induced by the significant forces applied to the nozzle of vacuum cleaner during its use) and therefore a detrimental modification of the position of the sole with respect to the ground to be vacuumed, the lever indexing system is more particularly configured in such a way that relatively large forces must be applied by the user on the joystick to allow movement of the latter from the third joystick position to the second joystick position.

However, the need to apply relatively large forces to the lever to allow it to move between its different positions can prove to be unpleasant for some users, or even make it difficult to use the vacuum cleaner nozzle for some users.

In addition, such a configuration of the lever indexing system can lead to breakage of certain constituent plastic parts of the lever indexing system.

Résumé de l'inventionSummary of the invention

The present invention aims to remedy all or part of these drawbacks.

The technical problem underlying the invention consists in particular in providing a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a reliable and economical structure, while guaranteeing improved suction performance, in particular on soft floors.

To this end, the present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle comprising a sole provided with a lower face and a suction cavity opening onto the lower face, at least one brush, a connection sleeve configured to communicate fluidly with the suction cavity, and a fork which is arranged between the soleplate and the connection sleeve and which is mounted in pivot connections with transverse pivot axes with respect to the soleplate and the connection sleeve, said nozzle d vacuum cleaner comprising a brush actuation mechanism comprising a joystick configured to occupy at least a first joystick position, a second joystick position and a third joystick position, the brush actuation mechanism being configured to:
  • when the joystick is moved into the first joystick position, allowing the fork to pivot relative to the sole and positioning the at least one brush in a lowered position in which the at least one brush projects from the underside ,
  • when the lever is moved into the second lever position, allowing the fork to pivot relative to the sole and positioning the at least one brush in a raised position in which the at least one brush is set back from the underside ,

Such a configuration of the brush actuation mechanism makes it possible to dissociate the indexing of the handle from the locking of the pivoting of the fork with respect to the sole. These provisions make it possible in particular, on the one hand, to require less effort to ensure that the joystick is held in a position selected by the user and therefore to facilitate its movement by the latter, and on the other hand to ensure better locking of the pivoting of the fork relative to the sole when the lever is in the third lever position.

Thus, the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the present invention guarantees optimum positioning of the sole when the pivoting of the fork is blocked, which gives the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the present invention optimum suction and scraping performance when vacuuming some soft floors.

In addition, the dissociation of the indexing of the lever from the locking of the pivoting of the fork with respect to the sole makes it possible to simplify the kinematics of locking of the fork, and thereby to simplify the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the present invention and to increase its reliability.

As depicted in figure 5 , 9 , 12 and 13 , each latch 36 may be in the form of a locking latch mounted so as to be able to rotate on the sole 6 around the axis of rotation B. Each locking latch comprises an abutment portion 46 comprising a lower abutment surface 46.1. In the third lever position ( figures 12 and 13 ), the locking latches are in the first locking position where each abutment portion 46 extends above a respective bearing finger 34, 35. In this first locking position, each lower surface of the abutment 46.1 abuts for example against an upper bearing surface 34.1 and 35.1 belonging to each of the bearing fingers 34, 35 to prevent any pivoting of the fork 4 relative to the sole 6.

As shown on the figures 12 to 14 , each slider 23 is configured to occupy a third slider position in which the brushes 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 are in the raised position, and the brush actuation mechanism 14 is configured such that movement of the handle 15 from the second lever position to the third lever position causes a movement of each slider 23 from the second slider position to the third slider position, and such that a movement of the lever 15 from the third lever position at the second lever position causes each slider 23 to move from the third slider position to the second slider position.

Each slider 23 is more particularly configured to move a respective lock 36 from the first lock position to the second lock position when said slider 23 is moved from the third slider position to the second slider position, and to allow movement of the respective latch 36 from the second latch position to the first latch position when said slider 23 is moved from the second slider position to the third slider position. To this end, each slider 23 can advantageously comprise an inclined surface 37, also called a ramp, configured to cooperate with the respective lock 36 when said slider 23 is moved from the third slider position to the second slider position. When said slider 23 is moved from the third slider position to the second slider position, the inclined surface pushes in rotation each lock, for example each latch, against the restoring forces exerted by the means of aforementioned reminder. This movement of the sliders has the effect of rotating each latch towards the second lock position where each stop portion 46 is retracted with respect to each upper bearing surface 34.1, 35.1. In their retracted position, the stop portions 46 are no longer above the support fingers 34, 35. In this retracted position of the stop portions 46, the pivoting of the fork 4 with respect to the sole 6 is authorized.

Advantageously, each slider 23 is also configured to maintain the respective lock 36 in the second lock position when said slider 23 is moved between the first slider position and the second slider position.

Un fonctionnement du suceur d'aspirateur 2 selon la présente invention va maintenant être décrit en référence plus particulièrement aux figures 6 à 14.An operation of the vacuum cleaner nozzle 2 according to the present invention will now be described with more particular reference to the figures 6 to 14 .

When the lever 15 is moved into the third lever position, the upper abutment members 32 come to bear respectively against the first and second support fingers 34, 35 of the fork 4 and move the first and second support fingers 34 , 35 until the latter come into contact against the lower abutment members provided on the sole 6.

Such a movement of the lever 15 into the third lever position also induces a movement of the sliders 23 into the third slider position, due to the cooperation of the toothed parts 24 with the racks 25, and therefore a movement of the locks 36, under the action of the respective return means, in the first lock position in which the locks 36 block the first and second branches 4.1, 4.2 of the fork 4 and therefore prevent any pivoting of the fork 4 relative to the sole 6. It should be recalled that the brushes 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 are held in the raised position when the handle 15 is in the third handle position.

When the handle 15 is moved into the second handle position, the upper stop members 32 move away from the lower stop members and therefore release the first and second support fingers 34, 35 of the fork 4.

Such a movement of the lever 15 into the second lever position also induces a movement of the sliders 23 into the second slider position, due to the cooperation of the toothed parts 24 with the racks 25, and therefore a movement of the locks 36, under the action of the inclined surfaces 37 provided on the sliders 23, in the second lock position, so as to allow the fork 4 to pivot relative to the sole 6. When the sliders 23 are in the second slider position, the locks 36 are held in the second lock position by sliders 23.

When the lever 15 is moved into the first lever position, the upper abutment members 32 move further away from the lower abutment members so as to further increase the pivoting travel of the fork 4 relative to the sole 6.

Such a movement of the lever 15 into the first lever position also induces a movement of the sliders 23 into the first slider position, and therefore a cooperation of the rollers 28 provided on the sliders 23 with the rolling surfaces 29 provided on the respective rockers, so as to move each rocker from its release position to its locking position. Such a displacement of each rocker then induces a sliding of the brush supports 12.1, 12.2, 12.3 in their first support position, and therefore a displacement of the brushes 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 in their lowered position in which the brushes 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 protrude from the underside of the sole 6.

Thus, the brush actuation mechanism 14 makes it possible to index the handle 15 in a first handle position, a second handle position and a third handle position corresponding respectively to a first mode of operation, called "maximum performance mode". ", in which the brushes 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 are in the raised position and the pivoting of the fork 4 relative to the sole 6 is blocked, a second operating mode, called "comfort mode", in which the brushes 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 are in the raised position and the pivoting of the fork 4 relative to the sole 6 is authorized, and a third mode of operation, called "hard ground mode", in which the brushes 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 are in the lowered position and the pivoting of the fork 4 relative to the sole 6 is authorized.

Of course, the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described and illustrated which has been given only by way of example. Modifications remain possible, in particular from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without thereby departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
