Definitions

  • the invention relates to a compression device for a spinning machine, in particular a ring spinning machine, for bundling a drawn fiber sliver, with a compression unit which has a suction air supply arranged in a base body and a suction opening fed by the suction air supply, over which a compression strap is arranged interchangeably, the compression unit having a Cover with a cover opening for covering the suction air supply, wherein the base body is designed to releasably accommodate the cover covering the suction air supply, wherein the suction opening for the operation of the compression unit can be changed with the help of the cover and the cover opening as a suction slot for cooperation with a sieve - Is formed or fabric straps trained compression straps.
  • Drafting systems for spinning machines are known in a variety of configurations from the prior art. They are used to stretch or warp a sliver, which causes a reduction in the cross-section of the fiber. During the delay, fibers must be shifted next to each other as evenly as possible in order to achieve an even sliver, which is a prerequisite for the production of an even yarn.
  • Spinning machines in which the twist is imparted directly after the drafting system have the disadvantage that a so-called spinning triangle occurs at the pair of exit rollers of the drafting system. This has a significantly greater width than the resulting thread and has edge fibers that are not properly bound into the resulting thread. These edge fibers therefore contribute little to the strength of the thread to be spun.
  • Such compression devices are mainly used in ring spinning machines.
  • the twist is given here by the rotating ring spinning spindle and the ring traveler circulating on the spinning ring.
  • Known compression devices are usually configured to act pneumatically. It is already known that fiber slivers are combined by being sucked onto a perforation track that extends along the course of the fiber and through which air is sucked in by means of suction. The perforation marks extend into Transport direction of a compaction belt that is arranged around a suction opening.
  • Such a compression system with a perforated apron along a suction track is, for example, from DE 43 23 472 A1 known.
  • the suction opening is designed as a narrow slit, through which alone the suction acts on the sliver and compresses it.
  • Such a compression system is disclosed in the DE 198 46 268 A1 .
  • the Chinese Utility Model CN203904554U , CN203112993U and CN205635932U disclose a compression device of the generic type, in which an aperture is designed with a suction slot for cooperation with a compression belt designed as a sieve belt or fabric belt.
  • the cover is primarily used to protect against wear. However, screens with different slits can also be used.
  • Known compression devices have a base body with a suction air supply.
  • the base body can be designed as a strap cage around which the compression strap is wrapped.
  • the apron cage may also be configured to accommodate a delivery roller and the compression apron wraps around the apron cage and delivery roller.
  • the part of the base body wrapped around by the compression strap can be designed as a suction shoe with a suction air supply.
  • the base body is preferably designed in such a way that the compression device comprises two compression units, each for one spinning position.
  • the compression straps are inevitably subject to wear due to the guidance of the fibers and are therefore usually arranged interchangeably.
  • the base body can also be designed as a hollow profile that extends in the longitudinal direction of the machine and includes suction air supply lines in the circumferential direction in the area of the spinning positions.
  • the hollow profile can extend over several spinning positions, ie over two or more than two spinning positions or over the entire spinning machine.
  • the hollow profile is preferably divisible so that the compression straps can be replaced if necessary.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a compression device and a drafting system with a compression device, in which the compression system can be changed easily.
  • a compression device in which the configuration of the compression unit is switched between a combination of an open suction opening with a compression strap with a perforation track and the configuration of the compression unit by a combination of a compression strap made of an air-permeable fabric with a suction opening narrowed by a slit
  • the suction air supply is designed as a suction opening for cooperation with a compression strap having a perforation track
  • the compression device comprises a second panel with an aperture opening, which is designed as a suction opening for cooperation with a compression strap having a perforation track.
  • a compression system is understood to mean the design of the compression unit for compressing the sliver.
  • the known compaction systems include, on the one hand, the configuration of the compaction unit by a combination of an open suction opening with a compaction apron having a perforation track and, on the other hand, the configuration of the compaction unit by a combination of a compaction apron made of an air-permeable fabric with a suction opening narrowed by a slit.
  • An essential feature of the compression device according to the invention is the design of the base body such that it is designed to accommodate a screen in the area of the suction air supply, so that the suction opening for the operation of the compression unit can be changed with the aid of the screen.
  • the suction opening can be limited to a narrow slit, through which only the suction acts on the sliver and causes compression.
  • the suction opening can be enlarged with the aid of the diaphragm in such a way that the suction opening can be used with a compression strap having a perforation track, in which the suction is limited via the perforation track of the compression strap.
  • the compression unit of the compression device can be redesigned in a simple manner, so that it then causes compression via a suction slot and a compression strap formed from a fabric.
  • the compression device according to the invention can thus be operated by the user in the optimal manner for the respective application, so that a reliable, optimal combination of the fiber sliver takes place in the area of the compression device.
  • the compression device according to the invention can also be operated in such a way that no compression takes place.
  • a spinning machine provided with the compression device according to the invention or the drafting system according to the invention can consequently also be operated on the spinning machine, in particular a ring spinning machine, if a conventional ring yarn is to be produced as an alternative to a compact yarn.
  • the compression device according to the invention is operated with an enlarged suction opening and with a compression belt designed as a sieve belt or fabric belt.
  • the suction that is present via the suction opening can be reduced, so that the compression function of the compression device is suspended without the risk of a thread jamming or thread breakage.
  • the diaphragm opening is designed as a suction slit for cooperation with a compression belt designed as a sieve belt or fabric belt.
  • the suction slot can be aligned in any desired manner, for example parallel to the direction of transport. There is also the possibility of configuring the suction slot to taper in the transport direction of the fiber structure, as a result of which the compression effect is increased.
  • the suction slot runs obliquely to the transport direction of the fiber structure.
  • a corresponding design also increases the compression effect in contrast to a suction slot aligned parallel to the transport direction of the sliver, the sliver also being given a slight false twist due to the oblique course, which, in connection with the frictional effect of the transport belt, causes the edge fibers to become even more twisted better looped around the sliver.
  • the suction air supply itself ie without a screen
  • a compression device can comprise a single orifice.
  • This single screen preferably has a screen opening designed as a suction slit for cooperation with a compression belt designed as a sieve belt or fabric belt.
  • the suction air supply can be designed as a suction opening for cooperation with a compression apron having a perforation track. To change the compression system, you only need to remove the screen and replace the compression belt.
  • the compression device comprises a second screen.
  • the first screen preferably has a screen opening designed as a suction slit for cooperation with a compression belt constructed as a sieve or fabric belt
  • the second screen has a screen opening designed as a suction opening for cooperation with a compression belt having a perforation track.
  • the stationary, detachable arrangement of the panel on the base body can in principle take place in any manner. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, however, it is provided that the base body is designed to accommodate the screen flush with the sliding surface in the suction air supply.
  • the suction air supply has a receiving area which is designed to receive the cover such that the cover arranged in the suction air supply is aligned with its upper side flush with the area of the base body surrounding the cover.
  • a secure position of the screen on the base body is essential for the function of the compression device.
  • this can take place in any desired manner, it being provided according to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention that the panel can be locked on the base body.
  • the ability to be locked in place ensures that the screen is securely positioned and thus trouble-free operation of the compression device.
  • the configuration of the locking device can be produced, for example, by spring-acting latching elements, clamping elements or else magnetically acting elements, which ensure a reliable but detachable arrangement of the panel during operation.
  • the invention also relates to a drafting system for a spinning machine, in particular a ring spinning machine. It is characteristic of the drafting system according to the invention that it has a compression device according to one or more of the above configurations.
  • the compacting device is arranged in a manner known per se downstream of the pair of output rollers of the drafting system.
  • the invention further relates to a method for operating a compression device according to one or more of the above configurations for a spinning machine, in particular a ring spinning machine, for bundling a drawn fiber sliver, with a compression unit which has a suction air supply arranged in a base body and a suction opening fed by the suction air supply, over which a compression strap is interchangeably arranged.
  • the suction opening for the operation of the compression unit is changed with the aid of a diaphragm with a diaphragm opening to cover the suction air supply.
  • the base body is designed for releasably receiving the panel covering the suction air supply.
  • the panel can be removed or installed to change the suction opening. This means that the compression device is operated with or without an orifice depending on the required suction opening.
  • the screen can also be exchanged for a second screen with a different screen opening.
  • the compression system can easily be modified by changing the suction opening according to the invention in connection with the installation of a suitable compression belt.
  • a compression device 1 is shown in different operating states, each with a different combination of compression aprons and suction opening.
  • the central component of the compression device 1 is in the Figures 1 to 4b shown base body 2.
  • This is designed in the embodiment as a strap cage and has two side by side spaced apart suction shoes 4, which are each provided with a suction air supply 5.
  • the suction air supply 5 has a recess 13 adapted to the shape of the panel 6 , which is delimited by a shoulder 15 and an edge 14 running around shoulder 15 .
  • the recess 13 is dimensioned in such a way that the aperture 6 in figure 2 mounted position shown the suction shoe 4 with its upper side 21 flush with the sliding surface 20 of the suction shoe 4 surrounding the panel 6 .
  • the screen 6 arranged on the suction shoe 4 causes the suction air to be guided solely via the screen opening 7 of the screen 6 .
  • the screen opening 7 is designed as a suction slot, with the suction slot extending obliquely to the running direction of the sliver 23 when the screen 6 is in the installed position on the suction shoe 4 .
  • the base body 2 has suction pipe connections 16 which are connected to the suction air supply lines 5 and are used for connection to a suction air source (not shown here).
  • the base body 2 For arranging the base body 2 on a drafting system (not shown here) or for easier transport of the compression apron, the base body 2 has a semicircular receiving opening 19 which enables a coaxial arrangement of the base body 2 on the delivery rollers 12 .
  • the delivery rollers 12 can be driven by a machine-long lower roller of the drafting system, not shown.
  • the delivery rollers 12 are located - viewed in the running direction of the sliver - in an area between the suction shoes 4 and the deflection roller 17 of the apron cage, which deflects a compression apron 8a, 8b, which, like the suction shoes 4 and the compression slips 8a, 8b are part of the compression units 3.
  • the compression apron 8a, 8b is guided through the apron cage. It is passed between the web 18 and the deflection roller 17 . Web 18 and deflection roller 17 form a guide 11. In order to prevent the compaction aprons 8a, 8b from sliding off the deflection rollers 17 and the suction shoes 4 of the compaction units 3, one side of the compaction aprons 8a, 8b rests on a lateral guide element 22 on the base body 2 at. The other side of the compression aprons 8a, 8b is guided over a guide surface 25 of a lateral guide element 24 extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the deflection rollers 17.
  • FIG 5 a first variant of the compression device 1 is shown, in which the compression apron 8a formed from an airtight material has a perforation track 9 so that the suction air is transmitted to the sliver 23 via the holes 10 forming the perforation track 9 .
  • no screen 6 is arranged on the suction shoe 4 , so that the suction air is transmitted to the sliver 23 solely via the perforation track 9 .
  • the base body 2 enables a simple change of the structure of the compression device 1.
  • the compression strap 8a can be pulled off the base body 2.
  • it can then be used as in figure 6 shown after inserting the panel 6 in the recess 13 on the suction shoes 4 are operated with a compression strap 8b formed from an air-permeable fabric.
  • the fiber sliver 23 is then combined via the suction air guided through the diaphragm opening 7 designed as a suction slot.
  • the compaction device 1 in the in figure 7 illustrated third variant are operated, in which no screens 6 are arranged in the recesses 13 and the compression belt 8b is formed from an air-permeable fabric. With a simultaneous reduction in the suction air to the extent that guidance of the fibers of the sliver 23 is still ensured, the compression device 1 can then be operated without a compression function.
  • a second screen with a larger screen opening can be present, which enables compaction with a compaction belt 8a with a perforation track 9.
  • This second diaphragm can then also enable operation without a compression function in connection with a compression strap 8b made of an air-permeable fabric.
