Description

The present invention relates to a drawer pull-out guide with at least one guide rail, the guide rail having an elongate first web and at least one elongate second web angled from the first web, the first web and the second web being connected to one another along their longitudinal direction by an angled area .

Furthermore, the invention relates to a drawer slide with at least one guide rail of the type to be described and a method for producing a guide rail for a drawer slide.

Such guide rails are used for drawer pull-out guides, so that a drawer can be pulled out relative to a furniture body when mounted. The drawer pull-out guides usually have a first guide rail to be fastened to a furniture body and at least one second guide rail which is mounted so that it can be displaced relative to the first guide rail. To realize a full extension of the drawer relative to the furniture body, a displaceably mounted third guide rail can also be arranged. Rolling bodies are provided for mounting the displaceable guide rails, which are mounted in a carriage or in several displaceable carriages. Specially shaped guide rails can improve the stability and load capacity of the drawer slide. When using large material thicknesses, the guide rails form a round angled area, as a result of which an increased installation space must also be provided. A generic guide rail is, for example AT 518 077 B1 known.

The object of the invention is to specify a more compact guide rail for a drawer pull-out guide while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.

According to the invention, this is achieved by the features of claim 1 . Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, it is provided that the angled area has at least one tapered material that extends along the angled area and is formed by a recess.

In other words, in an angled area enclosed by the two webs of the guide rail (i.e. on an inner side or on an inner radius of the angled area between the two webs), there is at least one material taper formed by a recess with reduced material thickness, the two webs being one in one Longitudinally the recess extending imaginary axis are angled to each other. The material taper formed by the recess prevents compression caused by compressive stress on the inside of the angling area during bending or profiling, so that the two webs can be angled more strongly relative to one another, for example to the extent that the two webs are not only at an angle of 90°, but can also assume an angle of 180° relative to one another. In this way, the angled area can be made more sharp-edged and the guide rail can be made more compact.

A particular advantage of the invention is that the proposed measure can be used to enlarge the planar running surfaces of the guide rails provided for contact with the rolling elements, so that - while maintaining the size of the guide rail - wider rolling elements are used and the forces that occur are distributed over a larger area can become. In this way, the stability and the load capacity of the drawer slide can be further improved.

According to the invention, it is provided that the first web and/or the second web has or have a predetermined first material thickness, the tapering of the material of the angled region formed by the recess having a second material thickness that is reduced compared to the first material thickness. The definition "first material thickness" refers to the thickness of the starting material of the guide rail, without taking into account any embossing or bending of the guide rail.

The at least one recess can extend at least in sections, preferably essentially over the entire length of the guide rail, in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail. It can be provided that the recess is designed as a groove.

According to one exemplary embodiment, it can be provided that the first web and the second web bear against one another at least in sections in a region outside the recess. This is particularly the case when the two webs are angled at an angle of 180° relative to one another.

The drawer pull-out guide according to the invention is characterized by at least one guide rail of the type in question. The drawer pull-out guide has a first guide rail to be fastened to a furniture body and at least one second guide rail that is mounted displaceably relative to the first guide rail, with at least one rolling element being arranged between the first guide rail and the second guide rail, which can roll on the first web or on the second web of a guide rail is.

The method according to the invention for producing a guide rail for a drawer slide is characterized by the following steps:
  • providing an elongate strand of material,
  • Making at least one recess running along the length of the material strand in the form of a material tapering in the material strand, preferably by profiling,
  • Deforming or bending of the strand of material in the area of the recess, whereby a first web and a second web angled from the first web are formed and the recess is arranged in an angled area enclosed by the first web and the second web.

Figure 2a shows an exploded view of the drawer pull-out guide 4 with the first guide rail 9 (corpus rail) to be fastened to the furniture carcass 2, the third guide rail 11 (tray rail) to be connected to the drawer 3 and with the second guide rail 10 (middle rail), which is located between the first guide rail 9 and the third guide rail 11 is slidably mounted. The first guide rail 9 has two fastening sections 12a, 12b which are spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction (L) and by means of which the first guide rail 9 can be mounted on the furniture body 2. Between the first guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10, at least one first carriage 13 with a plurality of rolling elements 14, 15 is slidably mounted. The rolling elements 14 are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction (L) and each have a horizontal axis of rotation in the assembled position, while the rolling elements 15 spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction (L) each have a vertical axis of rotation in the assembled position. By a spring-loaded retraction device 16 is the third Guide rail 11 can be retracted towards the end of the closing movement into the closed end position, this spring-assisted closing movement being dampable by a damping device 17, for example in the form of a hydraulic piston-cylinder unit.

Figure 2b shows the drawer pull-out guide 4 in a cross section, with the first carriage 13 with the rolling elements 14, 15 between the first guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10 and at least one second carriage 18 with rolling elements 14a, 15a between the second guide rail 10 and the third guide rail 11 is slidably mounted. The rolling bodies 14a each have a horizontal axis of rotation in the installed position, while the rolling bodies 15a are rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation in the installed position.

The invention will now be explained in more detail using the example of the second guide rail 10 . The second guide rail 10 has a first web 10a and at least one second web 10b, which are connected to one another by an angled area 23, the angled area 23 having at least one material taper extending along the angled area 23 and formed by a recess 21. The first web 10a and/or the second web 10b can each have a predetermined first material thickness, while the angled area 23 enclosed by the two webs 10a, 10b is provided with at least one recess 21, so that the angled area 23 has a relative to the webs 10a, 10b has a reduced second material thickness. How from the Figure 2b As can be seen, the webs 10a, 10b can be angled more strongly relative to one another due to the presence of the recess 21, without significant compressive stresses occurring on the inside of the angled region 23 when the second guide rail 10 is being machined. In the figure shown, the webs 10a, 10b are bent at an angle of 180° to one another. In an area outside the recess 21, the two webs 10a, 10b can preferably without forming a gap 19 ( Figure 3a ), at least partially touching each other. In this way, the overall height of the second guide rail 10 can be reduced, in particular in the case of a plurality of webs 10a, 10b arranged one above the other. The guide rail 10 can also comprise two or more material tapers formed by recesses 21, 21a, 21b, wherein in the exemplary embodiment shown, the material tapering to the recesses 21a, 21b adjacent webs each assume an angle of approximately 90° to one another.

Figures 3a and 3b show a direct comparison of a guide rail 10 according to the prior art ( Figure 3a ) and a guide rail 10 according to the invention ( Figure 3b ). The guide rail 10 according to the prior art in Figure 3a has a constant material thickness M1, the webs 10a, 10b being spaced apart from one another in the height direction due to the lack of recess 21, forming a gap 19. This also leads to an increase in the height (H) of the guide rail 10. The angling area 23 is in Figure 3a formed around, are also for the rolling elements 14, 15, 14a, 15a only running surfaces B, C with a relatively small width.

Figure 3b FIG. 12, however, shows an embodiment of the guide rail 10 according to the invention. Due to the recesses 21, 21a, 21b, the material thickness M2 is reduced compared to the material thickness M1, so that the webs 10a, 10b can be bent to a greater extent in relation to one another. This results in the height H1 according to Figure 3b less than the height H according to Figure 3a is. The lower height H1 thus leads to a (desired) reduced overall height of the guide rail 10. It can also be seen that the flat running surfaces B1, C1 for the rolling elements 14, 15, 14a, 15a according to FIG Figure 3b compared to the flat running surfaces B, C according to Figure 3a are significantly enlarged. In this way, rolling elements 14, 15, 14a, 15a with an increased nominal width can be used, so that improved support of the guide rails 9, 10, 11 is brought about and the forces can be distributed over an enlarged area. The recesses 21, 21a, 21b can each have at least one concave section 22 in a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rail 10. The sharp-edged angled areas 23 can preferably be produced by profiling. Profiling (also called roll forming or cold rolling) is a continuous bending process in which a strand of material 20 ( Figure 4a ) made of metal runs into a profiling machine, in which the strand of material 20 is formed into the desired profile cross-section in many successive bending operations by profile rolling rollers.

According to the invention, it is provided that the at least one guide rail 10 has a section 24 that runs essentially vertically when the drawer pull-out guide 4 is installed, the first web 10a protruding in a first direction transversely, preferably essentially at right angles, from the vertically running section 24 of the guide rail 10 and that the second web 10b protrudes transversely, preferably essentially at right angles, from the vertically extending section 24 of the guide rail 10 in a second direction, opposite the first direction. In addition, it can be provided that the first web 10a and the second web 10b of the at least one guide rail 10 have different lengths, it being preferably provided that a length of the second web 10b is at least three times as long as a length of the first web 10a.
