Description

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner floor nozzle arrangement comprising a housing with a suction duct connected to a suction air duct and a first lower part arranged on the underside of the housing and a first sliding sole and a suction mouth connected to the suction duct.

Vacuum cleaner floor nozzles are in contact with a floor surface to be cleaned and direct a suction air stream entering the system of the vacuum cleaner. As a result, they are largely responsible for the cleaning effect, since the local flow and pressure conditions are decisive for the amount of dirt that can be removed with the suction air flow. Special configurations of the vacuum cleaner nozzle can also promote the detachment of dirt adhering to the floor surface.

The floor surfaces to be cleaned by vacuum cleaners have very different properties. Dry cleaning using household vacuum cleaners is particularly common with smooth hard floors (e.g. parquet, plastic coverings, etc.), grooved hard floors (e.g. tiles) and different hardnesses of textile floor coverings. Even within the textile floor coverings there are different properties with regard to compressibility and air permeability, for example between short and long pile carpets. To achieve an optimal cleaning result, it is therefore always necessary to adapt the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle to the specific floor covering. This applies in particular if - for example due to energy saving regulations or if the vacuum cleaner is portable, only a low suction power is available.

Against this background, vacuum cleaner floor nozzles have become increasingly specialized in types and subtypes of flooring in the past. On the one hand, it is known to design vacuum cleaner floor nozzles to be adjustable between different functional positions by means of movable functional groups. For example, sealing and / or supporting elements can be moved into lowered or raised positions in order to control the contact with the floor of the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle and at the same time to shape the inflowing suction air flow. The adjustment options with regard to the shape of the suction mouth are very limited or can only be implemented with disproportionate technical effort.

Another possibility is to keep different, essentially non-adjustable, types of vacuum cleaner nozzles available for different application scenarios. Here, a particularly good adaptation to the respective specialized application is possible. In particular, the shape of the entire nozzle body, the suction mouth and the underside can be varied widely with various vacuum cleaner nozzles. The disadvantage here, however, is that the cost of materials and production increases considerably with various vacuum cleaner nozzles. The different nozzles must also be stored by the user and carried along in case of use, so that a need-based exchange can take place.

Against this background, the object of the invention is to enable an improved adaptation of a vacuum cleaner floor nozzle to different types of floor covering. In particular, the material and space efficiency should be preserved.

The object of the invention and solution to this problem is a vacuum cleaner floor nozzle arrangement according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments are specified in the subclaims.

Starting from the generic vacuum cleaner floor nozzle arrangement, the first lower part according to the invention is detachably connected to the housing to form a vacuum cleaner floor nozzle in a first configuration. The vacuum cleaner floor nozzle arrangement also has a second lower part with a second sliding sole and with a second suction mouth. The second lower part has a different geometry than the first lower part and can be detachably fastened to the housing in a second configuration in exchange for the first lower part, forming a vacuum cleaner floor nozzle. The second suction mouth is connected to the suction channel.

The respective suction mouth and the respective sliding sole are part of the corresponding lower part. In particular, the first or second lower part can essentially be designed as a molded part, in which at least part of the underside forms the corresponding sliding sole and the corresponding suction mouth is formed by an opening on the underside. The molded part can in particular be produced in one piece, for example by injection molding. Attachments, such as thread lifters in particular, can be provided on the molded part.

Within the scope of the invention, it is possible to largely adapt the vacuum cleaner geometry without having to manufacture, store and carry a complete second vacuum cleaner nozzle. It is thus possible, particularly in the case of a single vacuum cleaner nozzle housing, to make adjustments which relate to the geometry and configuration of the suction mouth and the sliding sole. Differences here are very difficult to implement and mechanical adjustment on the other hand, of greater importance especially when differentiating between different textile floor coverings. For example, a short-pile industrial carpet has a higher mechanical load-bearing capacity and less air permeability than a high-pile living area carpet. The teaching according to the invention is particularly advantageous when a particularly large number of different types of floor coverings have to be cleaned with the greatest possible efficiency and thoroughness, such as, for example, in commercial building cleaning. But also in the private sector when used on different types of floors, the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle arrangement according to the invention delivers considerable added value. The vacuum cleaner floor nozzle arrangement according to the invention is intended in particular for dry cleaning.

In a preferred embodiment, the first sliding sole of the first lower part and / or the second sliding sole of the second lower part have a sliding slope arranged in the working direction in front of the suction mouth and a sliding slope arranged in the working direction behind the suction mouth. The shape, position and shape of these can then be varied in a particularly simple manner by exchanging the first lower part for the second lower part.

The sliding slope of the first lower part and / or the second lower part preferably has a width of at least 15 mm and is inclined at an angle between 5 ° and 15 ° with respect to the horizontal.

The sliding slope of the first lower part and / or the second lower part expediently has a width of at least 25 mm and is inclined at an angle between 3 ° and 10 ° with respect to the horizontal.

Preferably, the first lower part makes up at least 50% of the area of the underside of the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle in the first configuration and / or the second lower part at least 50% of the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle according to the second configuration. Because at least half of the underside is interchangeable, a particularly extensive redesign of the nozzle body, in particular its underside, can be achieved with simple means. The first lower part and / or the second lower part preferably makes up at least 90%, in particular at least 95%, very preferably essentially the entire underside of the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle. An overlapping edge of the housing and areas with lowerable sealing and / or supporting elements can be disregarded here. The larger the exchanged area on the underside of the housing, the greater the freedom of design and the possibility of adapting the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle in the first or second configuration.

According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the suction mouth makes up a maximum of half, preferably a maximum of 30 to 45% of the area of the underside of the first lower part and / or the second lower part. The lower part should therefore expressly also have other essential functional units such as a sliding area and / or separate supporting elements.

In a particularly preferred embodiment, the suction mouth of the first lower part has a larger cross-sectional area than the suction mouth of the second lower part. By varying the free flow cross section, the suction force effect can be concentrated on a smaller area with a smaller cross section, whereby higher flow velocities also occur. This is particularly advantageous when used on particularly long-pile carpets so that the suction air flow can penetrate deeply into the textile material. At the same time, a smaller suction mouth leaves a larger one Support suitable sliding surface on the lower part, so that the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle formed sinks less deeply into the softer long pile carpet.

In a further alternative embodiment, however, it can be provided that the cross-sectional area of the first suction mouth and the cross-sectional area of the second suction mouth are the same size. Then the two lower parts can differ in particular by the shape and / or positioning of the suction mouth. As a result, suction properties that are very individually adapted to the respective application can be provided.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a rotatably supported support element, in particular an impeller or a roller, can be arranged on the first lower part and / or on the second lower part. This support element is, in particular, not designed to be displaceable relative to the lower part, so that constant support is provided on hard floors. The first and the second lower part can preferably each be fastened to the housing by locking elements. In particular, the fastening is provided on one side by positive locking, so that a fastening element only has to be provided on an opposite side.

The fastener can be arranged on the respective lower parts but also on the housing.

In particular, latching connections, locking slides and / or rotary locking elements come into consideration as releasable fastening elements. The latter can be formed in particular by screws and / or rotating bayonet locks.

The locking elements can in particular be operated without tools. This means that they can be loosened or closed with bare hands or with the help of simple tools such as a coin.

To connect the suction channel to the suction mouth arranged on the first lower part or on the second lower part, a suction space arranged above the suction mouth with a central opening is preferably provided on the corresponding lower part. When connecting the corresponding lower part to the housing, the opening is connected to the suction channel.

For this purpose, the suction channel preferably has a receiving area into which the lower part projects with an associated connecting piece. In this way, a safe air flow can be guaranteed without the need for sealing, which is optionally possible, by means of sealing means.

It is of course possible within the scope of the invention that more than two separate lower parts can be connected to the housing. For the professional sector in particular, a large number of specialized lower parts are useful for specific applications.

The invention also relates to a vacuum cleaner comprising a housing with a blower arranged therein for generating a suction air flow and a dirt collecting space for separating dirt particles carried in the suction air flow. A previously described housing is connected to a suction air duct connected to the dirt collecting space and can alternatively be used to attach at least two lower parts to form a suction mouth and a sliding sole.

The Fig. 1 shows in the bottom view a first suction configuration formed in the context of an embodiment of a vacuum cleaner floor nozzle arrangement according to the invention. In this case, a housing 1 is provided, which is provided by means of a suction connection piece 2 arranged in the rear area for connecting an internally arranged suction channel 3 to the suction air duct of a vacuum cleaner. On the underside of the housing, a first lower part 4a is arranged, which has a first sliding sole 5a and a first suction mouth 6a connected to the suction channel 3.

Bristle strips 7 are provided in the sliding sole 5a in front of and behind the suction mouth 6a as thread lifters. The vacuum cleaner floor nozzle extends essentially in a working direction x and in a transverse direction y. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the first lower part 4a in the region of the sliding sole 5a has both a sliding slope arranged in the working direction x in front of the suction mouth 6a and a sliding slope arranged in the working direction x behind the suction mouth 6a. The width a 1 of the sliding slope in the working direction x is at least 15 mm, the width b 1 of the sliding slope in the working direction x is at least 25 mm. Both the slip bevel and the slip bevel are essentially flat, whereby they are inclined by an angle between 5 ° and 15 ° or between 3 ° and 10 ° with respect to a horizontal defined by the front and rear edge of the suction mouth 6a.

Between the front edge x of the lower part 4a in the working direction and the outer edge of the housing 1 there is a gap in which a brush strip 8 which is adjustable relative to the housing 1 is arranged. This serves to adjust the vacuum cleaner floor nozzle according to the first configuration shown between a carpet position with the brush strip raised and a smooth floor position with the brush strip lowered. For the rear support of the housing 1, a roller 9 is arranged in the region of the sliding slope of the lower part 4a.

According to the invention, the lower part 4a is detachable, in particular detachable without tools, connected to the housing. For this purpose, the lower part 4a engages in recesses of the housing 1 which are assigned to projections in the front in the working direction x and in the area in the rear in the working direction x within the sliding slope, two detachable locking elements 10 are also provided. These can fasten the lower part 4a to the housing 1 by means of a rotational movement or loosen them again by rotating them in the opposite direction. For the actuation 10 wide slots are provided on the locking elements, which can be operated using simple aids - for example a coin.

In the Fig. 2a and 2 B shows a second lower part 4b which completes the vacuum cleaner nozzle arrangement according to the invention. In a comparative analysis with the Fig. 1 it can be seen that the geometry of the suction mouth 6b and also the geometry of the sliding sole 5b differ from that of the first lower part 4a. While the x measured width a 2 of the slide-on slope approximately corresponds to the width a 1 of the first lower part 4a, the slide-off slope in the shown second lower part 4b with a width b 2 is somewhat longer. The suction mouth 6b is also formed with a smaller width c 2 than the width c 1 of the first lower part 4a. Since the transverse extent d1, d2 of the two lower parts measured in the transverse direction y is approximately the same due to the assignment to a housing 1, the suction mouth 6b of the second lower part 4b has a significantly reduced cross-sectional area compared to the first suction mouth 6a. A further comparative analysis reveals that the first suction mouth 6a is designed with a circumferential, continuous suction mouth edge in one plane. In the meantime, the second suction mouth 6b is designed to be open at the edges for side suction. In conjunction with the downward opening area of the second suction mouth 6b, the side suction is additionally forced here.

The locking elements 10 of the second lower part 4b are essentially identical to those of the first lower part 4a. However, in the exemplary embodiment shown, they are arranged offset both in the working direction x and in the transverse direction y. The position of the locking elements 10 in the design of different lower parts 4a, 4b can be selected so that they interfere as little as possible with the function and positioning of both the suction mouth 6a, 6b and the sliding sole 5a, 5b. For attachment to a single housing 1, the housing 1 must accordingly have a plurality of receiving elements for interaction with the locking elements 10 at different lateral positions. At least one channel-shaped receiving element is also conceivable, for example, in which the locking elements can engage along any positions that are displaced in the longitudinal direction.

In the Figure 2B The rear view shown shows details of the attachment of the second lower part 4b to the housing. These also represent the facts of the first lower part 4a. Retaining tabs 11 are provided on the front end of the lower part 4b in the working direction x, which engage in associated recesses in the housing, not shown in the figures. Here, the lower part 4b is axially inserted and / or pivoted into the recesses. For locking purposes, the locking elements 10 are provided in the rear area, the fastening sections of which, as shown, are of helical design. By means of a rotary movement, the locking elements 10 can be fastened in an associated receptacle with an internal thread or in a profiled groove.

Of the Figure 2B it can also be seen that a suction mouth with a central opening 12 is provided in the rear area of the suction mouth 6b, which corresponds to the dimensions of the suction channel 3. The opening has a greater extension in the working direction than the suction mouth 6b. To improve the seal between the lower part 4b, the edge of the opening 12 is provided with a step which connects to the suction channel 3 in a form-fitting manner.
