Description
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle assembly and includes a vacuum cleaner nozzle for forming a first suction configuration and an expansion nozzle for forming a second suction configuration having a receptacle for connection to the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
Vacuum cleaner nozzles are used to shape and guide a suction air flow to be cleaned surfaces. The suction air flow is generated by a vacuum cleaner by means of a blower and enters through the vacuum cleaner in a suction air. In this case, the suction air stream removes dirt particles from the surface to be cleaned and carries them with them until they are separated from the suction air flow in a dirt collecting device. Depending on the field of application, different nozzle shapes have emerged, such as vacuum cleaner nozzles for smooth floors and / or carpets, upholstery nozzles, crevices, etc., which must be carried and provided for the different cleaning scenarios.
In order to reduce the effort, it is known to make vacuum cleaner nozzles adaptable to several situations of use such that the ground clearance of the vacuum cleaner nozzle can be switched by adjustable spacers between a smooth bottom position and a carpet position. However, the achievable changes in geometry - especially the sliding sole and the suction mouth - are very limited. Therefore, modular vacuum cleaner nozzle systems have been proposed in which a small vacuum cleaner nozzle can be used in an expansion body to form a larger overall nozzle.

Against this background, the present invention seeks to provide a system of vacuum cleaner nozzles, which should provide a large number of different suction configurations with little design effort and low material usage. These should be characterized by a great robustness and be suitable for professional use.
The invention and solution of this problem is a vacuum cleaner nozzle assembly according to claim 1. Preferred embodiments are specified in the dependent subclaims.
The generic vacuum cleaner nozzle arrangement, from which the invention proceeds, comprises a vacuum cleaner nozzle for forming a first suction configuration having a nozzle body, a suction mouth connected thereto at the bottom and connected to a suction channel, which defines a first working width, and a suction connection for connecting the suction channel to a suction air guide. Furthermore, it comprises a first expansion nozzle for forming a second suction configuration with a first extension body, a lower side arranged thereon and connected to a suction port suction mouth which defines a relation to the first working width enlarged second working width, and a receptacle for connection to the vacuum cleaner nozzle, wherein the suction channel of the first expansion body is connectable to the suction mouth of the vacuum cleaner nozzle. According to the invention, a second expansion nozzle for forming a third suction configuration is provided with a second expansion body which deviates in size from the first expansion body, a suction mouth connected thereto and connected to a suction channel and a receptacle for connection to the vacuum cleaner nozzle, wherein the suction channel of the second Extension body is connected to the suction of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
In the context of the vacuum cleaner nozzle arrangement according to the invention, a total of at least three different suction configurations can be implemented. On the one hand, the vacuum cleaner nozzle is directly usable for suction cleaning, wherein a suction air stream is drawn from a surface to be cleaned and introduced through the suction mouth of the vacuum cleaner in the suction channel and passed through the suction connection to a suction air. Before different cleaning scenarios - especially if a larger working width is needed - the vacuum cleaner nozzle can be connected to the inclusion of a first expansion body. Here, the suction air guide is designed such that the suction mouth of the vacuum cleaner nozzle is connected to the suction channel of the first expansion body. At least the greater part of the suction air stream entering the suction mouth of the vacuum cleaner nozzle has therefore previously passed through the suction mouth of the first expansion body and the suction channel adjoining it. The cleaning properties of this in the context of the second suction configuration formed overall arrangement are significantly determined by the first expansion body and its suction mouth design.
In the context of the invention, it is provided that, as an alternative to the first expansion body, a second expansion body can also be connected to the vacuum cleaner nozzle. In this case, the suction air guide is also connected to the second expansion body, that the majority of the suction air flow through the suction port of the second expansion body enters the suction channel arranged behind and is forwarded from there into the suction mouth of the vacuum cleaner nozzle. The second expansion nozzle has a geometry deviating from the first expansion nozzle, as a result of which, in the context of the third suction configuration, other cleaning scenarios can preferably be executed. In particular, it can be provided that the suction mouth of the second expansion body defines an enlarged compared to the second working width third working width. Thus, even wider webs can be sucked off on a surface to be cleaned compared to the second suction configuration, which can be helpful in particular depending on the particle size distribution of the dirt to be removed and the square footage of the surface to be cleaned.
Alternatively or additionally, however, the geometry of the third suction configuration may be different in other aspects from the second suction configuration. For example, an enlarged base area of the second expansion body may be provided, a greater depth in the working direction or, for example, a modified sliding sole design, which is optimized for use on certain floor coverings, for example carpets, especially high-pile carpets.
Compared with vacuum cleaner nozzle systems in which several complete, interchangeable specialized vacuum cleaner nozzles are provided, resulting in the invention, a significant material savings. In particular, in the area of the suction connection piece and its articulated connection with the vacuum cleaner nozzle body, a double version of various vacuum cleaner nozzles is avoided. As a result of the material reduction, the vacuum cleaner nozzle arrangement can also be transported more easily due to a reduced space requirement, which is advantageous in particular in the case of professional use. Compared with the design of a vacuum cleaner nozzle with several parallel and serially usable extensions can be increased within the scope of the invention increased effectiveness and stability of the respective Saugkonfigurationen. It is advantageous that there is only one connection point at the connection between the receptacle of the expansion body and the vacuum cleaner nozzle. Accordingly occur at only a single transition point possible incorrect air currents, which can also be sealed with less constructive and material effort.
Preferably, the receptacle of the first expander body and / or the receptacle of the second expander body has a sealing element. As a result, a seal is provided in the connected state to avoid erroneous air flows. With a seal almost the entire suction air flow can be passed through the suction port and the suction channel of the corresponding expansion body.
Particularly preferably, the invention can be used in vacuum cleaner nozzle arrangements, in which the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the transverse direction has a greater extent than in the working direction. Here, a particularly stable connection to a vacuum cleaner nozzle and the expansion bodies is possible. Also, the suction air can be configured better, since the suction mouth of the vacuum cleaner nozzle thus already has a large transverse extent. As a result, the suction mouth of the vacuum cleaner nozzle is particularly easy to connect to the suction air duct of a wider transverse extension nozzle.
The receptacles of the first expansion nozzle and the receptacle of the second expansion nozzle are expediently identical. In this way, a particularly easy replacement of the two expansion nozzles is guaranteed, the connection to the vacuum cleaner nozzle can work optimally and equally well in both cases.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the receptacle of the first expansion nozzle and / or the receptacle of the second expansion nozzle encloses the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the connected state in the horizontal plane (that is to say in the transverse direction and in the working direction) in a form-fitting manner. Particularly preferably, the positive connection is produced in that the receptacle of the first expansion nozzle and / or the receptacle of the second expansion nozzle in the horizontal plane rests circumferentially against the vacuum cleaner nozzle. As a result, an optimal power transmission can take place both in the transverse direction and in the working direction. The insertion of the vacuum cleaner nozzle from the recordings takes place in the vertical direction. In a positive reception, a certain seal is already provided, so that an additional sealing element to prevent erroneous air flows can be omitted. Particularly expediently, the vacuum cleaner nozzle can be locked in the receptacle of the first expansion nozzle and / or in the receptacle of the second expansion nozzle in the vertical direction by a latching connection. In a latching connection, at least one latching body is deformed and / or displaced by the insertion of the vacuum cleaner nozzle into the receptacle, wherein the latching body is at least partially re-deformed and / or relocated upon reaching the final receiving position of the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the receptacle, thereby forming the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the receptacle - Is held and / or non-positively.
For example, the locking connection can be formed by an elastically deformable retaining strip, which is pushed aside when inserting the vacuum cleaner nozzle into the receptacle and at least partially deformed after reaching the final receiving position within the receptacle. To remove the vacuum cleaner nozzle from the receptacle, an increased effort must be expended to deform the retaining strip again. A separate unlocking is not necessary.
Likewise, the locking connection can be provided by an undeformable locking body which is slidably mounted on the receptacle. By an elastic application of force, the latching body is pressed into the receptacle in such a way that the vacuum cleaner nozzle has a certain excess in relation to the receptacle which is reduced by the latching body. When inserting the vacuum cleaner nozzle of the locking body is pushed back by the vacuum cleaner against the application of force, so that the locking body releases the way into the recording. After reaching the final receiving position of the vacuum cleaner nozzle in the receptacle - wherein the second or third suction configuration is formed - can the detent body be at least partially moved back to its original position, which inhibits removal of the vacuum cleaner nozzle from the receptacle at least by applying force, but preferably blocks by form. In the second case, the locking element must be unlocked by pulling back from the locked position to remove the vacuum cleaner nozzle from the recording can.
In a preferred embodiment, the vacuum cleaner nozzle is limited in the transverse direction by a first narrow side and an opposite second narrow side. For locking in the vertical direction within the receptacle, the vacuum cleaner nozzle with the first narrow side engages behind an overhang of the receptacle of the first expansion nozzle or the second expansion nozzle. At the same time, the vacuum cleaner nozzle can be locked on the second narrow side by a catch element arranged on the receptacle. Here, the locking in the vertical direction is also solved on at least one side by positive locking, which brings a low design complexity and high robustness with it.
Preferably, the locking element can be unlocked by a switching element, in particular a foot pressure switch. This can be triggered during use by little effort by an operator with the foot to remove the vacuum cleaner nozzle from the recording of the respective expansion nozzle can. The latching element and the switching element may preferably be integrally formed.
Preferably, at least one thread lifter is arranged on the vacuum cleaner nozzle. Thus, this can be used in particular as upholstery nozzle within the first suction configuration.
Appropriately, however, sealing elements, supporting elements and / or cleaning elements are also arranged on the first expansion nozzle and / or on the second expansion nozzle. These may be, in particular, bristle strips, sealing lips, thread lifters and / or rubber strips and / or lips which are covered in a flat manner by a thread-winding plush. By suitable selection, the effectiveness of the second and / or third suction configuration for specific types and / or sizes of dirt particles can be adjusted specifically.
In a preferred embodiment, at least one roller is arranged on the first extension nozzle and / or on the second extension nozzle. Rolls also serve to support a vacuum cleaner nozzle on smooth hard floors, whereby the ground clearance can be precisely adjusted. At the same time, castors can also be used to ensure, at least to a limited extent, an automatic adjustment to different floor coverings. This is based on the fact that at least narrow rollers with a running width of a few millimeters sink into soft carpets and do not develop a supporting effect there.
Particularly preferably, the suction connection piece is arranged movably by means of a hinge arrangement to the nozzle body. In this case, the suction connection piece is pivotally mounted about at least one axis to allow control of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and / or adaptation to the ground. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the vacuum cleaner nozzle assembly further comprises an alternative vacuum cleaner nozzle which is equally connectable with the receiving of the first extension nozzle and / or the inclusion of the second extension nozzle alike. The alternative vacuum cleaner nozzle may have additional suction openings which are not compatible with be coupled to the recording, and / or support elements. For example, it is possible to design the alternative vacuum cleaner nozzle in such a way that a double joint arrangement is formed in the suction configurations in connection with the first expansion nozzle or the second expansion nozzle, wherein the extension nozzle with respect to the suction connection piece about two spaced, parallel and transversely extending pivot axes movable connected is.
In a further preferred refinement, the alternative vacuum cleaner nozzle has a nozzle body which is identical to the vacuum cleaner nozzle and a deviating suction connection piece and / or a deviating joint arrangement for connecting the suction connection piece to the nozzle body. By appropriately matched suction connection and / or joint arrangements, the vacuum cleaner nozzle arrangement according to the invention can be particularly easily adapted for applications with different controllability of the suction configurations. Likewise, the same expansion nozzles can be easily with different formats of Saugluftführung - for example, different pipe diameters of a suction pipe - use. The alternative vacuum cleaner nozzle acts with its different configuration of the suction connection at the same time as an adapter. This facilitates the use in the professional field, where vacuum cleaners of different manufacturers and models are used side by side.
