Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Starr-Rahmen-Rollstuhl wird die starre Form eines Box-Rahmens mit fest verschweißten Rahmenteilen aufgelöst und durch separate, gegeneinander verstellbare Rahmenteile ersetzt. Es wird ein Starr-Rahmen-Rollstuhl, der gemäß dem Box-Rahmen-Konzept gestaltet ist, mit folgenden Merkmalen vorgeschlagen:

  • einem Basisrahmen, der eine Hinterachse zur Aufnahme von Hinterrädern sowie eine linke Seitenstrebe und eine rechte Seitenstrebe zur Aufnahme von Lenkrädern in vorderen Bereichen der Seitenstreben aufweist,
  • einem L-förmigen Sitz-Fußstützrahmen, der eine L-förmige linke Strebe und eine L-förmige rechte Strebe aufweist, wobei die jeweilige Strebe ein Sitzrohrsegment und ein Fußstützrohrsegment aufweist, ferner der Sitz-Fußstützrahmen eine Querstrebe aufweist, die die Streben verbindet,
  • zwei Kupplungseinheiten, die den Basisrahmen im linken und rechten vorderen Bereich mit dem Sitz-Fußstützrahmen im Bereich dessen linker und rechter Fußstützrohrsegmente um eine Achse vertikal zu einer Sagittalebene für eine Winkeleinstellung gelenkig verbinden, und in denen die Fußstützrohrsegmente für eine Sitzhöhenverstellung verstellbar gelagert sind,
  • einem linken Rahmenverbinder und einem rechten Rahmenverbinder, wobei die Rahmenverbinder den Basisrahmen und die Sitzrohrsegmente fest miteinander verbinden, wobei die Sitzrohrsegmente in unterschiedlichen Positionen mit den Rahmenverbindern verbindbar sind.

Claims (12)

  1. Rigid-frame wheelchair (1) which is designed according to a box frame design, having the following features:
    - a base frame (2), which has a rear axle (5) for receiving rear wheels (16) and a left-hand side strut (3) and a right-hand side strut (4) for receiving steering wheels (17) in the front regions of the side struts (3, 4),
    - an L-shaped seat-foot support frame (6), which has an L-shaped left-hand strut (7) and an L-shaped right-hand strut (8), wherein the respective struts (7 and 8, respectively) have a seat tube segment (45) and a foot support tube segment (44), and the seat-foot support frame (6) furthermore has a transverse strut (9) that connects the struts (7, 8),
    - two coupling units (13), which connect the base frame (2) in the left-hand and right-hand front region to the seat-foot support frame (6) in the region of the left-hand and right-hand foot support tube segments (44) thereof in an articulated manner about an axis vertically to a sagittal plane for an angular adjustment, and in which the foot support tube segments (44) are adjustably mounted for seat height adjustment,
    - a left-hand frame connector (11) and a right-hand frame connector (12), wherein the frame connectors (11, 12) connect the base frame (2) and the seat tube segments (45) fixedly together, wherein the seat tube segments (45) are able to be connected to the frame connectors (11, 12) in various positions,
    characterized in that the respective frame connectors (11 and 12, respectively) have a slot (48) that is arranged in an inclined manner with respect to an adjacent slot (46) of the corresponding seat tube segment (45), and means (38, 39, 40, 41) for securing frame connectors (11 and 12, respectively) and the seat tube segment (45) pass through the slots (46, 48), in order to secure the respective frame connectors (11 and 12, respectively) and the associated seat tube segment (45) in various positions.
  2. Wheelchair according to Claim 1, characterized in that the foot support tube segments (44) are adjustable in a stepless or stepped manner in the coupling units (13).
  3. Wheelchair according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the respective foot support tube segment (44) is mounted in a displaceable manner in a coupling piece (24), in the form of a sleeve, of the coupling unit (13) and is able to be secured relative to the coupling piece (24) by means of means (25 to 31), in particular clamping means.
  4. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the respective side strut (3, 4) has a strut tube (22) and a multifunctional part (23) connected fixedly thereto, wherein the respective multifunctional part (23) serves for receiving bearing seats for a steering fork (52) of a front wheel (17) and for supporting the coupling unit (13), preferably also for receiving an impact protection device (32).
  5. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the two frame connectors (11, 12) connect the base frame (2) and the seat tube segments (45) fixedly together in the respective rear regions thereof.
  6. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the seat tube segments (45) receive a further transverse strut (10) in a movable manner in their rear region, wherein this transverse strut (10) is connected to the frame connectors (11, 12) in the region of their remote ends.
  7. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the respective frame connectors (11, 12) are configured as plates that are arranged in particular parallel to the sagittal plane.
  8. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the respective frame connectors (11 and 12, respectively) are fixedly connected, in particular screwed, to the rear axle (5) by means of at least one connecting element (36).
  9. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the slot (48) of the frame connector (11 and 12, respectively) extends from above, in particular slightly above, the rear axle (5) obliquely upwardly to the front and/or the slot (46) of the seat tube segment (45) extends in the axial direction of the seat tube segment (45).
  10. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the slot (48) of the frame connector (11 and 12, respectively) is slightly curved and the slot (46) of the seat tube segment (45) is arranged in a straight manner, extending in the axial direction of the seat tube segment (45).
  11. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the frame connector (11 and 12, respectively) and the seat tube segments (45) are able to be connected together steplessly or at defined adjustment spacings.
  12. Wheelchair according to one of Claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the rear axle (5) is displaceable on the side struts (3, 4) for the adjustability of the wheelbase of the wheelchair (1) and is able to be secured relative to the side struts (3, 4) by way of means.
