Definitions
- the present invention relates to a centrifugal fan according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention has for its object to propose a centrifugal fan, in which the disadvantages known from the prior art are avoided or at least greatly reduced.
- double-walled motor housing and cooling air channel form a convection chamber during operation of the centrifugal fan, in which there is negative pressure during operation.
- the radial fan is designed such that the back blading is formed by means of partially inserted through the bottom plate radial blades, in particular circular arc blades. This represents an advantageous simplification of the construction and the production. It is thereby possible to optimally use the back blading on the impeller.
- the radial fan is designed such that guide plates are arranged around the motor housing for controlling a targeted air flow.
- This can be advantageously internal Reduce pressure losses and thus increase the efficiency of a radial fan assembly. These include a possible reduction of flow losses, in part also flow turbulences and thereby a possible reduction of the required engine power for the centrifugal fan, which has economic advantages.
- the radial fan is designed such that the baffles are fixed by means of stiffening plates relative to the motor housing. This advantageously allows an increase in the stability of the centrifugal fan and its baffles. It can achieve a stiffening of the centrifugal fan.
- the radial fan is designed such that the motor housing, the cooling air channel and the convection channel are formed as riveted sheet metal construction. This advantageously results in the possibility of a simple and inexpensive production.
- the radial fan is designed such that the radial blades are welded to the bottom disk of the impeller. This makes it possible to achieve a safe repeat accuracy with a very stable design, for example via welding robots.
- Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a fan housing 5 for a centrifugal fan 1, in which a cut-open motor housing 2 can be seen, which in turn surrounds a motor 4 shown cut open.
- the motor 4 is mounted on a motor plate 3 and penetrates the latter with its drive shaft 9 approximately centrally.
- the drive shaft 9 is connected via a hub with the bottom plate 12 of an impeller 8.
- the bottom plate 12 carries a plurality of radial blades 16, each with a (in Fig. 1 to 3 above) approach the bottom plate 12 penetrate and above as back blading 14 (see also Fig. 3 ) are recognizable.
- the motor plate 3 is connected to a base plate 7 of the fan housing 5, on which also opens out into the impeller 8 fan inlet 13 for the pumped medium, for. B. flue gas is arranged.
- Fig. 2 is now based on some arrows 22, 24, 26 and 28, the local flow direction of the pumped medium of the radial fan according to the invention, for. B. flue gas shown. In the following, this is simply called “air” for simplicity.
- air air sucked in by the radial fan 1 according to the invention passes through the fan inlet 13 into the impeller 8 and is sucked radially outwards into the interior of the fan housing 5 as a result of the force generated by the radial blades 16 of the rotating impeller 8 according to the arrows 26 ,
- the air continues to flow upward deflected, follows the direction of the arrows 22 and finally leaves the fan housing 5 via an outlet designed as a grid opening 15 upwards.
- the engine 4 is cooled by means of a cooling air introduced in the cooling air duct 6.
- the air flows through an annular opening located around the drive shaft 9 through the motor plate 3 from the motor housing 2 into the space between the motor plate 3 and bottom plate 12 of the impeller 8.
- the now somewhat warmed up cooling air mixes with the convection air.
- the latter flows to cool the motor housing 2 and the cooling air through the convection channel 10, which surrounds each of the cooling air duct 6 and the motor housing 2, in the direction of the arrows 30. It flows further according to the arrow 34 radially outward, where it mixes with the conveying air and escapes above the grid opening 15 upwards.
- the promotion of the mixed air from convection air and cooling air in the direction of the arrows 34 is supported by the back blading 14.

Abstract
Description
- a) ein Motorgehäuse,
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
Fig. 1 , jedoch bei nicht aufgeschnittenem Motorgehäuse. - Fig. 3
- In
- Weitere in
