Definitions
- the invention relates to a closable filling device for filling bulk goods from flexible bulk goods containers, in particular a filling mandrel.
- a flexible bulk goods container is a large sack made of fabric or plastic fabric, which is known as a big bag. In order to completely empty the bigbag quickly, it is usually lifted and the bottom surface cut open with a knife. In order to be able to dose the emptying, filling devices in the form of a mandrel are known, which are pierced with their point first into the plastic fabric from below so that they penetrate as far as the bulk material. The bulk material can be emptied from the flexible bulk material container through openings in the filling device, the filling device having a closure mechanism in order to be able to start and stop the emptying.
- the DE602004001709T2 shows a gate valve which is present between two rigid disk-shaped elements. At least one of the disk-shaped elements is to be attached to a rigid container. The gate valve cannot form a standing surface for the device, since it is enclosed between the rigidly connected disk-shaped elements.
- the DE102006057760B3 discloses a linear connector and liner filler that does not have a gate valve.
- the FR2895728A3 shows a filling device in the form of a filling mandrel for big bags.
- the filling mandrel has a cylindrical hollow body, at the upper end of which several struts converge to form a point. At a distance from the struts, the filling mandrel has barbs which protrude from the cylindrical hollow body.
- the cylindrical hollow body has openings above the barbs.
- the cylindrical hollow body has a closure, which is formed from two adjacent plates, the upper plate being firmly connected to the cylindrical hollow body and having a central opening and the lower plate being designed over the entire surface and pivotable on the upper one with a threaded bolt Plate is attached.
- the tip of the filling spike is inserted into the big bag until the barbs penetrate the big bag. Then the filling mandrel is pulled back a little so that the barbs rest against the fabric of the big bag from the inside. Bulk material can now penetrate into the cylindrical hollow body between the struts and through the openings above the barbs.
- the closure is opened by pivoting the lower plate around the threaded bolt and the bulk material passes down through the cylindrical hollow body. Both plates are provided with handles so that the swivel movement can be carried out by hand.
- the disadvantage is the mounting of the lower plate on the threaded bolt, since the nut or the head of the threaded bolt protrudes from the lower plate and thus the filling mandrel is not level on the ground.
- the EP 2937291 A1 shows an extension of the device of FIG FR 2895728 A3 around a filling spout, which, if necessary, can be screwed onto the upper plate from below when the filling mandrel is already inserted. Otherwise, the devices are identical, with neither the filling mandrel nor the filling spout having a satisfactory footprint.
- the above-mentioned devices are used by placing them with the lower plate of the closure on the floor and lowering the flexible bulk material container or big bag from above onto the filling mandrel.
- the protruding bolt does not provide a level stand.
- great forces act on the filling mandrel, which can lead to one of the handles, usually the one on the top plate, breaking off.
- the lower plate can be pushed downwards away from the upper plate, so that bulk material can unintentionally escape or unfavorably high moments act on the bolt and the lower plate, which can lead to damage can.
- the object on which the invention is based is to improve filling devices for flexible bulk material containers so that the damage mentioned is avoided.
- a preferred improvement measure according to the invention consists in attaching at least one of the handles to the respective plate so that it can pivot, so that it can be folded away upwards. If too great a moment acts on the handle when the flexible bulk goods container is placed on, it will fold up before damage can occur.
- the upper plate preferably has an at least approximately square circumference, with the lower plate in the closed state of the filling device covering at least the lower opening area of the upper plate and the corner areas of the at least approximately square circumference and the lower plate being provided with the structure at least in these corner areas , which forms the base and / or four legs of the filling device.
- the lower plate and the upper plate of the filling device with a structure so that both plates form a common lower surface on which the filling device stands, with the head or the nut of the bolt of the pivoting mechanism not over this common lower surface the upper and lower plate protrudes and the upper plate or its handle at a distance from the contact surface with the lower plate has at least one locking projection, the lower plate being held in the closed state between this locking projection and the contact surface.
- At least two locking projections are preferably present which hold the lower plate on the upper plate in the closed state. These locking projections preferably have an angle of at least 90 ° to 135 ° to each other and to the bolt (e.g. an angle of 120 ° or 90 ° and 135 ° twice), based on the center of the opening of the hollow body, so that the lower plate is held in the closed position at three spaced points distributed around the circumference of the opening.
- a handle is attached to each of the upper plate and lower plate, each of which extends approximately horizontally away from the respective plate, the lower surface of the respective handle not protruding downward beyond the standing surface of the filling device.
- the measure according to the invention to fasten at least one of the levers or handles pivotably on the respective plate so that it can be folded away upwards can also be implemented independently of the other improvements according to the invention, so that the filling device known from the prior art only has at least one Folding handles is improved.
- the above-described first-tier solution according to the invention of the improved standing area can of course also be provided in order to further improve the filling device.
- the Figs. 1 to 4 all show the same particularly preferred filling mandrel 1 according to the invention.
- the filling mandrel 1 has a hollow body 2, which preferably has a cylindrical jacket.
- several struts 3 run to a point together.
- four struts 3 evenly distributed over the circumference of the cylinder have proven to be the technically most favorable variant, since three struts 3 would require a very complex injection mold.
- the hollow body 2 merges into the upper plate 4, which connects to the outside of the cylinder and preferably leaves the inner opening of the hollow body 2 completely open.
- the hollow body 2, the upper plate 4 and the struts 3 forming the tip are preferably manufactured as a monolithic plastic body in an injection molding process.
- a pivotable lower plate 5 is provided.
- the upper plate 4 is provided with a handle 6 and the lower plate 5 is provided with a handle 7, which in the closed state of the closure are preferably diametrically opposite.
- the upper plate 4 and the lower plate 5 each have a bore through which the bolt 8 runs, the bolt 8 being held pivotably in at least one of these bores.
- the lower plate 5 can be pivoted about the axis of the bolt 8 in order to free the opening of the hollow body 2 downwards, as in FIG Fig. 3 can be seen.
- the hollow body 2 has barbs 9 on the outside, which are made of elastic material, so that these are pressed downwards against the hollow body 2 when piercing through the tissue of the big bag so as not to block the opening in the tissue enlarge. If the barbs 9 are moved completely through the tissue, they return to their starting position and spread when they are pulled back against the inside of the tissue. A little above the barbs 9 there are openings 10 in the lateral surface of the hollow body 2 in order to enable the big bag to be emptied almost completely. Alternatively, it would also be possible to attach the barbs 9 further up on the hollow body 2 in order to be able to dispense with the openings 10, as in the alternative embodiment of FIG Fig. 5 is illustrated.
- the barbs 9, known from the prior art, are in the form of strips of resilient elastic material and are guided inward through slots in the hollow body 2 and fastened above the slots on the inside of the hollow body 2 by rivets.
- Relatively solid rubber is suitable as a material.
- the barbs 9 are designed as spring steel plates, which have a kink with an acute angle and are attached below the slots on the inside of the hollow body 2 by rivets or screws, whereby the distance between the barbs 9 to the upper opening surface of the hollow body can be reduced to the Device easier to manufacture, smaller and thus material-saving and more cost-effective.
- the essential improvement according to the invention relates to the closure or the bottom surface of the filling mandrel 1.
- the upper plate 4 is provided with a structure 11 which forms part of the standing surface of the filling mandrel 1.
- the lower plate 5 is provided with a structure 12 which also forms part of the standing surface of the filling mandrel 1.
- the head of the bolt 8 protrudes at most up to the standing surface and is preferably received in a recess in the structure 12.
- the undersides of the handles 6, 7 can form a flat surface with the standing surface, that is to say terminate coplanar with the structures 11, 12. As in the alternative embodiment of the Fig. 5 shown, the undersides of the handles 6, 7 can also be spaced upwards from the base.
- the closure has a locking projection 13 which is part of the upper plate 4 or is attached to it.
- the locking projection 13 is attached so that it holds the lower plate 5 against the upper plate 4 when the lock is closed.
- the locking projection 13 has a plate-shaped section, the upper surface of which is at a distance from the upper plate 4 and the lower surface of which is preferably coplanar with the standing surface or the structure 11.
- the edge region of the lower plate 5 enters the gap between the locking projection 13 and the upper plate 4 and in this edge region preferably has a chamfer 16 or a rounded portion in order to facilitate this.
- the locking projection 13 is, with respect to the lower opening of the hollow body 2, preferably approximately diametrically opposite the bolt 8.
- the upper plate 4 has two locking projections 13, these preferably close with respect to the lower opening of the hollow body 2 to each other and to the bolt 8 an angle of about 120 ° each.
- a locking projection 13 which has an angle of approx. 135 ° to the bolt 8 and an angle of approx. 135 ° to the handle 7, since the handle 7 or the lower plate 5 also has a locking projection 14 in the area of the handle 7 has, which engages over the upper plate 4 in the closed state.
- the handle 7 has an angle of approximately 90 ° to the bolt 8.
- This locking projection 14 can be dispensed with if a second locking projection 13 is provided on the upper plate 4 in this area or, as mentioned above, at an angle of 120 ° to the bolt 8.
- Another improvement according to the invention consists in attaching at least one of the handles 6, 7, preferably the handle 6, in a foldable manner.
- the handle 6 is pivotably attached via a bolt 15 between two parallel tabs in the transition area between the upper plate 4 and the hollow body 2.
- the handle 6 can rest in the lower position on the upper plate 4 and can be pivoted upwards against the force of weight or against a spring force, for example a hinge spring.
- the handle 6 can also snap into the lower position and be pressed upwards out of this position with some resistance.
- the folding mechanism prevents the handle 6 from breaking when it is used too heavily.
- Handle 7 is correspondingly attached to the lower plate 5.
- the handle 7 and the lower plate 5 are manufactured as a monolithic plastic body in an injection molding process.
- the upper and lower plates 4, 5 are preferably provided with the respective structure 11, 12 in the injection molding process.
- the structure 11, 12, in particular the structure 11, can be attached subsequently, for example screwed, nailed, riveted or glued to the plate 4, 5 in the form of several feet.
- a stand can be fixed against the lower plate 5 with the bolt 8, for example, or it can be part of the head of the bolt 8.
- the structures 11 and 12 can be attached in the form of three feet to form a tripod or manufactured using the injection molding process, the lower surfaces of the three feet forming the footprint of the filling mandrel 1.
- the grooves shown in the feet can be used to clamp a fabric hose or a sack with a spring hose clamp.
- the hose or the sack preferably has a hem around its opening into which the spring hose clamp or a similar slotted wire ring is sewn.
- a short fabric hose section can be quickly attached to which a filling tube is connected, whereby the filling tube can advantageously be pivoted independently of the filling mandrel 1 due to the flexible fabric section.
- the feet can also have threads to which an attachment or a filler neck can be screwed.
- the Figs. 8-11 all show the same particularly preferred filling mandrel 1 according to the invention.
- the filling mandrel 1 has a hollow body 2, which preferably has a cylindrical jacket. At the upper end of the hollow body 2, several struts 3 run to a point together. At the lower end, the hollow body 2 merges into the upper plate 4, which connects to the outside of the cylinder and preferably leaves the inner opening of the hollow body 2 completely open.
10 can be seen.
- the main improvement according to the invention relates to the closure or the bottom surface of the filling mandrel 1.
- the lower plate 5 is provided with a structure 12 which forms at least part of the standing surface of the filling mandrel 1.
- the head of the bolt 8 protrudes at most up to the standing surface and is preferably received in a recess in the structure 12.
- almost the entire surface of the lower plate 5 can be provided with the structure 12, with the exception of the recess for the head of the bolt 8.
- Particularly good stability results when the standing surface formed by the structure 12 has an approximately square circumference.
- the structure 11 can be on the handle 6 of the upper plate 4, so that the handle 6 of the upper plate 4 forms part of the standing surface, with this when there is a strong leverage (for example when the bulk goods container is set down at an angle or swings when set down) over the The hinge joint folds up before it breaks. If the handle 6 were monolithically connected to the hollow body 2, then if the handle 6 were broken off, the entire injection-molded part would also have to be disadvantageously replaced.
- the structure 11 on the handle 6 can project beyond the lower plate 5 in the closed state, in which case the lower plate 5 does not have a structure 12 in the area of the overlapping structure 11 of the handle 6 or can have a bevel 16 or rounding, whereby the structure 11 on the handle 6 forms a locking projection 13 for the lower plate 5.
- the structure 11 or the locking projection 13 of the handle 6 is preferably designed in such a way that the upward folding of the handle 6 is not hindered, for example the structure 11 can have a rounding on its edge facing the floor.
- the locking projection 14 is preferably designed in two parts, the two parts of the locking projection 14 protruding laterally from the handle 7 and the upper plate 4 spaced apart from one another laterally overlapping the handle 7.
- the lower plate 5 preferably has one each in the area of the two parts of the locking projection 14 Corresponding recess so that the closing of the filling mandrel 1 works easily and reliably.
- the upper plate 4 preferably has an approximately rectangular or preferably square circumference, the lower plate 5 in the closed state at least covering the opening of the upper plate 4 and the corner areas of the at least approximately square circumference and being provided with a structure 12 at least in these corner areas is, which forms the base or four legs of the filling mandrel 1.
- the design of the standing area as a polygon results in a significant improvement over round or circular standing areas.
- An approximately square circumference is to be understood in particular as the illustrated circumference with rounded corners, in which the side edges of the square are also curved outward.
- the standing surface of the filling mandrel 1 or the shape of the structure 12 has a shape other than circular.
- the structure 12 running around the circumference increases the rigidity or the bending resistance of the lower plate 5, so that bending of the lower plate 5 is prevented.
- FIG. 12 and 13 Another embodiment of a filling device according to the invention is shown in which no struts 3, no barbs 9 and no openings 10 are present on the hollow body 2.
- the hollow body 2 has a projection 17 which runs around the circumference of the hollow body 2, that is to say is formed by a sudden increase in the outer circumference of the hollow body 2.
- the projection 17 is preferably located directly at the upper end of the hollow body 2.
- the other existing parts of the device namely the upper plate 4, lower plate 5, the preferably foldable handle 6, the handle 7, the bolt 8 and the structure 12 can as shown to be identical to the previous variant.
- the inventive variant of the Figs. 12 to 13 Unlike the filling mandrel 1, it is not pierced through the shell of a bulk goods container, but is placed in the closable opening of a flexible reusable bulk goods container 18.
- FIG Fig. 14 The connection of a reusable bulk goods container 18 to the filling device according to the invention is shown in FIG Fig. 14 illustrated.
- the reusable bulk material container 18 has an open end at its lower end, which is usually present with a smaller cross section than the area of the reusable bulk material container 18 located above it. As shown with dashed lines, the open end is closed, for example tied with a tape 19th
- the belt 19 is opened and the bulk material escapes through the open end.
- the filling device according to the invention can be used to empty the contents of the reusable bulk goods container 18 in a metered manner.
- the hollow body 2 is inserted below the belt 19 into the open end, after which it is fixed on the outside of the hollow body 2, preferably with a pipe clamp or a Clamping ring 20, which in Fig. 14 is shown dotted.
- the clamping ring 20 can advantageously be closed or opened via a lever 21 in order to enable attachment and detachment without tools.
- the clamping ring 20 If the clamping ring 20 is closed, it fixes the tissue of the open end of the reusable bulk goods container 18 from the outside against the hollow body 2, the projection 17 preventing the clamping ring 20 from slipping off the hollow body 2. In this state, the belt 19 can be loosened so that the bulk material of the opened reusable bulk material container 18 (shown in dotted lines) passes through the hollow body 2 to the lower plate 5 and rests against it. By pivoting the lower plate 5 around the bolt 8, the filling device according to the invention can be opened and material can be removed from the reusable bulk goods container 18 in a metered manner.
- the advantage over known transportable, manual dosing devices for removing material from a reusable bulk goods container 18 is that the filling device according to the invention has improved stability and preferably at least one foldable handle 6, so that a full or partially emptied reusable bulk material container 18 together with the filling device according to the invention is on the floor can be turned off without risking damage to the filling device.
- This is particularly advantageous for agricultural businesses, since the reusable bulk material containers 18, for example big bags, are usually lifted with a forklift or front loader, with the forklift or front loader being immediately available for other tasks after the big bag and the filling device according to the invention have been placed. A laborious removal of the dosing devices from the full or partially emptied big bag can therefore be omitted.

A flexible bulk goods container is a large sack made of fabric or plastic fabric, which is known as a big bag.

In practice, the above-mentioned devices are used by placing them with the lower plate of the closure on the floor and lowering the flexible bulk material container or big bag from above onto the filling mandrel. The protruding bolt does not provide a level stand. When the big bag is lowered, great forces act on the filling mandrel, which can lead to one of the handles, usually the one on the top plate, breaking off. In addition, there is the problem that when the big bag and the mandrel are lifted, the lower plate can be pushed downwards away from the upper plate, so that bulk material can unintentionally escape or unfavorably high moments act on the bolt and the lower plate, which can lead to damage can. In addition, full or partially emptied flexible bulk goods containers or big bags are often parked on the floor with filling devices still in use, the known filling devices being only moderately suitable for this and which can lead to increased damage. This is also the case with known filling devices for reusable big bags or flexible reusable bulk goods containers.
The object on which the invention is based is to improve filling devices for flexible bulk material containers so that the damage mentioned is avoided.
To achieve the object, a filling device according to
A preferred improvement measure according to the invention consists in attaching at least one of the handles to the respective plate so that it can pivot, so that it can be folded away upwards. If too great a moment acts on the handle when the flexible bulk goods container is placed on, it will fold up before damage can occur. The upper plate preferably has an at least approximately square circumference, with the lower plate in the closed state of the filling device covering at least the lower opening area of the upper plate and the corner areas of the at least approximately square circumference and the lower plate being provided with the structure at least in these corner areas , which forms the base and / or four legs of the filling device.
It is preferably proposed to provide the lower plate and the upper plate of the filling device with a structure so that both plates form a common lower surface on which the filling device stands, with the head or the nut of the bolt of the pivoting mechanism not over this common lower surface the upper and lower plate protrudes and the upper plate or its handle at a distance from the contact surface with the lower plate has at least one locking projection, the lower plate being held in the closed state between this locking projection and the contact surface.
At least two locking projections are preferably present which hold the lower plate on the upper plate in the closed state.
According to the invention, a handle is attached to each of the upper plate and lower plate, each of which extends approximately horizontally away from the respective plate, the lower surface of the respective handle not protruding downward beyond the standing surface of the filling device.
The measure according to the invention to fasten at least one of the levers or handles pivotably on the respective plate so that it can be folded away upwards can also be implemented independently of the other improvements according to the invention, so that the filling device known from the prior art only has at least one Folding handles is improved. In this case, the above-described first-tier solution according to the invention of the improved standing area can of course also be provided in order to further improve the filling device.

Another improvement according to the invention consists in attaching at least one of the

If the clamping
