  • be placed above the electronic component 16, in particular above the PCBA2 card on which said electronic component 16 rests;
  • be placed under the antenna cover 12.
  • be placed all or part under the roof 20. It is thus located inside the motor vehicle 2, namely in the passenger compartment 21, or partly in the passenger compartment 21 and partly in the roof 20.

It will be noted that the term “interior of the motor vehicle” is understood to mean everything which is located below the external face of the roof 20, in the non-limiting embodiment of the roof. Thus, this includes what is in the roof 20.

In a non-limiting embodiment, the metal sheet 17 is adapted to be placed opposite the opening 200 of the roof 20 and comprises a total length L1 greater than said opening 200. It comprises flanges 177 adapted to be placed under the roof. roof 20.

Sa largeur L2' (rebords 177 exclus) est supérieure ou égale à la largeur de l'ouverture 200.Its width L2 '(edges 177 excluded) is greater than or equal to the width of the opening 200.

La fonction de protection CEM se trouve donc à l'intérieur de l'habitacle 21 du véhicule automobile 2.The metal foil 17 thus makes it possible to produce an electrical shielding (also called electromagnetic shielding) between the antenna signals of the primary antenna 15 and the signals coming from the electronic component 16. The EMC protection function is therefore located inside. of the passenger compartment 21 of the motor vehicle 2.

In a non-limiting embodiment, the metal foil 17 comprises a size (length and width) greater than the primary printed circuit board PCBA1. The electrical shielding is thus carried out over the entire periphery of the primary antenna 15; in particular thanks to the parts 175 which go beyond the PCBA1 card as illustrated on the figure 14 . In this way, the EMC protection is more effective.

De plus, plus la surface du feuille métallique 17 est grande, meilleure est la dissipation thermique des composants électroniques de la carte PCBA2.In addition, the larger the surface of the metal foil 17, the better the heat dissipation of the electronic components of the PCBA2 board.

In a first non-limiting embodiment illustrated in figure 11a , the metal sheet 17 is disposed in part under the roof 20, a part being disposed in the roof 20. In particular, the metal sheet 17 comprises a part 176 adapted to be disposed in the opening 200 of the roof 20. This part 176 integrated in the roof 20 has a length L2 and a width L2 'less than those of the opening 200 of the roof 20. The fact of integrating a part 176 of the metal sheet 17 in the roof 20 saves space in height in the antenna box 11 for electronic components 16.

In a second non-limiting embodiment illustrated in figure 11b , the metal sheet 17 is disposed completely under the roof 20. In particular, the metal sheet 17 comprises a part 176 adapted to be disposed completely under the roof 20, namely under the opening 200 of the roof 20. This part 176 under the roof 20. roof 20 has a length L2 and a width L2 'greater than those of the opening 200 of the roof 20.

It will be noted that the roof 20 of the motor vehicle 2 represents the mass of the motor vehicle 2.
The metal sheet 17 is in contact with the roof 20 via its parts 175 via the fixing screws 31. The fixing screws 31 thus allow grounding of the metal sheet 17. The metal sheet 17 is therefore connected to the ground. .
The metal foil 17 is fixed to the PCBA1 card via the screws 32. The metal foil 17 thus enables the PCBA1 card to be grounded via said screws 32.
The PCBA1 card is connected to the PCBA2 card via the antenna connector 163. The PCBA1 card being earthed, it thus enables the PCAB2 card to be earthed.

Ainsi, on améliore les performances de l'antenne primaire 15.Thus, grounding is possible thanks to the fixing screw 31 which connects the antenna housing 11 and metal foil assembly to the roof 20. This avoids having magnetic field lines which bypass the metal foil 17 and which could cause spurious signals on the antenna signals or parasitic signals in the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle 2. Thus, the performance of the primary antenna 15 is improved.

In a non-limiting embodiment, the metal foil 17 is suitable for dissipating the energy given off by the electronic component 16. In fact, the electronic component 16 when it is operating heats up and can give off a lot of heat. The metal foil 17 serves as a heat sink. In the case where there is a plurality of electronic components 16, in order to dissipate the energy of all the electronic components 16 located on the PCBA2 card, in a non-limiting embodiment (not illustrated), the metal foil 17 entirely covers all of said electronic components 16. In a non-limiting variant embodiment, the metal foil 17 may comprise a size equal to the size of the secondary printed circuit board PCBA2. This makes it possible to have a larger thermal dissipation surface for all of the electronic components 16 of the PCBA2 card.
To improve heat dissipation, in a non-limiting embodiment, said metal foil 17 cooperates with a thermal paste 164 described above arranged on the secondary printed circuit board PCBA2 on which the thermal component 16 rests.
Thus, the metal foil 17 in cooperation with the thermal paste 164 serves as a heat sink for the electronic components 16 of the PCBA2 card. Indeed, the heat given off by said electronic components 16 is dissipated via the metal foil 17 in the roof 20.
In order to dissipate the heat given off by the electronic component 16 more quickly, in a non-limiting embodiment illustrated on the section of the figure 11a or the figure 11b , the metal sheet 17 further comprises a support tab 174 (called in English "gap pad") so as to create an air space 174 'between the electronic component 16 and the roof 20. In a non-limiting example, it is substantially square or rectangular in shape. This support leg 174 extends under the roof 20. In this way, the heat is evacuated more quickly through the roof 20. It will be noted that the leg support 174 rests on thermal paste 164 when there is any. Note that the cut of the figure 11a or the figure 11b does not illustrate the fastener 171 of the metal sheet 17.
It will be noted that the support tab 174 is adapted to pass through the upper cover 13 of the antenna housing 11 so as to be opposite said at least one electronic component 16.

  • au moins un dispositif de positionnement 178 pour le capot d'antenne 12 ;
  • au moins un dispositif de fixation 172 au capot d'antenne 12 et à l'antenne primaire 15 ;
  • au moins un dispositif de fixation 171 sur le toit 20 ;
  • une ouverture 173.
Ces éléments sont décrits en détail ci-après.In non-limiting embodiments, the metal foil 17 comprises:
  • at least one positioning device 178 for the antenna cover 12;
  • at least one fixing device 172 to the antenna cover 12 and to the primary antenna 15;
  • at least one fixing device 171 on the roof 20;
  • an opening 173.
These elements are described in detail below.

In a non-limiting embodiment, the positioning device 178 is an orifice adapted to cooperate with a positioning device 128 of the antenna cover 12 provided for this purpose and described above, namely a positioning pin. This facilitates the mounting of the antenna cover 12 on the metal foil 17. In a non-limiting embodiment, the metal foil 17 comprises three positioning devices 178, namely here three holes as illustrated on the figure. figure 10 , one of which is distributed at one end of the metal sheet 17 and the other two at the other end of the metal sheet 17. The orifices 178 thus serve as a reference for the antenna cover 12.

Ces deux dispositifs de positionnement 178 servent donc également à positionner la feuille métallique 17 sur le capot supérieur 13.As described above, it will be noted that two of these positioning devices 178 are also adapted to cooperate with two positioning devices 138 of the top cover 13 so as to position said metal sheet 17 on said top cover 13. These two Positioning devices 178 therefore also serve to position the metal sheet 17 on the top cover 13.

Ainsi, la feuille métallique 17 est pris en sandwich entre l'antenne primaire 15, en particulier la carte PCBA1, et le capot supérieur 13.In a non-limiting embodiment, the fixing device 172 is an orifice adapted to cooperate with the screw 32 provided for this purpose and with the orifice 152 of the primary antenna 15 described above. In particular, it is adapted to be placed opposite said orifice 152. In a non-limiting embodiment, the metal sheet 17 comprises six fixing devices 172, namely here six orifices as illustrated in the figure. figure 10 for a good fixation. Thus, the primary antenna 15 is sandwiched between the antenna cover 12 and the metal sheet 17 and is well fixed and does not risk moving. In addition, the fixing device 172 also makes it possible to fix the metal sheet 17 on the top cover 13, thanks to the screw 32. Thus, the metal sheet 17 is sandwiched between the primary antenna 15, in particular the PCBA1 card. , and the top cover 13.

Thus, the screws 32 therefore make it possible to assemble the metal sheet, the primary antenna 15 and the top cover 13 together.

In a non-limiting embodiment, the fixing device 171 is an orifice adapted to cooperate with the fixing screw 31. Said fixing screw 31 (which fixes the antenna housing 11 with the protective cover 18) is in fact suitable for pass through said orifice 171.

In a non-limiting embodiment, the metal sheet 17 comprises two fixing devices 171, namely two orifices as illustrated on the figure. figure 10 which will cooperate with two fixing screws 31 for a good fixing.

Thus, at least one fixing screw 31 makes it possible not only to fix the whole protective cover 18, metal sheet 17 and antenna housing 11 (via its upper cover 11) to the roof 20, but also to ground the assembly. protective cover 18, metal foil 17 and antenna housing 11. It is a simple and inexpensive fixing device which makes it possible to complete two different functions at the same time. In the non-limiting example illustrated, two fixing screws 31 make it possible to perform these two functions at the same time.

In a non-limiting embodiment, the metal sheet 17 further comprises a projecting portion 175 comprising a tab 1750 in which the fixing device 171 is made. This makes it possible to easily produce the orifice 171. On the figure 10 , two protruding parts 175 are illustrated, each comprising a tab 1750. These protruding parts 175 are adapted to cooperate with the protruding parts 135 of the top cover 13. They are located above the PCAB2 card. They make it possible to improve the electrical shielding because they are located on either side of the PCBA1 card. The fixing screws 31 allow the projecting parts 175 to be in good contact with the roof 20 and therefore allow good grounding of the metal sheet 17 as seen above.

Furthermore, these protruding parts 175 are adapted to partly be facing the opening 200 of the roof 20. On the other hand, their tab 1750 is adapted to be disposed under the roof 20 which allows the metal sheet 17 of be in contact with the roof 20. The tab 1750 is in contact with the roof 20 and, with the fixing screw 31, allows the metal sheet 17 to be grounded.

Ouverture 173 Opening 173

L'ouverture 173 est adaptée pour laisser passer un connecteur d'antenne 163 de la carte PCBA2 sur laquelle repose le composant électronique 16.The opening 173 is adapted to pass an antenna connector 163 of the PCBA2 card on which the electronic component 16 rests.

The figures 13 to 18 illustrate the mounting of the antenna housing 11 as a whole and of the metal foil 17 on said antenna housing 11.
As shown on the figure 13 , the metal sheet 17 is placed on the top cover 13 by virtue of the positioning devices 138 and 178. It will be noted that the metal sheet 17 is not in contact with the PCBA2 card. As shown on the figure 14 , the primary antenna 15 (in particular the PCBA1 card) is placed on the metal sheet 17.
As shown on the figure 15 , the antenna cover 12 is positioned on the metal sheet 17 (and therefore on the upper cover 13) so as to cover the primary antenna 15 by means of the positioning devices 128 and 178. Then, the upper cover assembly 13, metal foil 17, PCBA1 board and antenna cover 12 is screwed with six screws 32 through the fasteners 122, 132, 152, and 172. The figure 16 illustrates said screws 32. The PCBA1 card (and therefore the primary antenna 15) is thus mounted on the metal sheet 17 and therefore on the top cover 13 thanks to the screws 32. The antenna cover 12 is thus mounted on the sheet metal 17 and therefore on the top cover 13 thanks to the screws 32.
On the other hand, as illustrated on the figure 17 , the PCBA2 card comprising the electronic component (s) 16 is positioned in the lower cover 14.
Then, as illustrated on figure 18 , the upper cover 13 (on which the metal sheet 17, the primary antenna 15 and the antenna cover 12 rest) is assembled to the lower cover 14 by means of the fixing devices 147 and 137, so as to form the antenna housing 11 .
All the elements of the antenna box 11 are thus already assembled when said antenna box 11 is supplied to an operator who mounts the antenna module (s) 1 on the motor vehicle 2 as described below.

Montage Assembly

The antenna module (s) 1 having been described as a whole, its assembly is described -after.
Thus, to mount the assembly of the antenna module (s) 1 on the body 20 of the motor vehicle 2, an operator performs the following operations. The operator is for example an operator at an automobile manufacturer. The operator places the protective cover 18 on the roof 20 using the pins 184 and the elastic tabs 185. If an aesthetic cover 19 is used, in this case, the operator:
  • places the protective cover 18 in the aesthetic cover 19 then places the assembly on the roof 20; or
  • places the protective cover 18-aesthetic cover 19 assembly on the roof 20 if the two have been pre-assembled beforehand or if they form a single piece.
As shown on the figure 19 , the operator installs the antenna housing 11 under the bodywork 20 inside the motor vehicle 2, namely here under the roof 20 in the passenger compartment 21. The operator thus positions the antenna housing assembly 11, metal sheet 17 under the roof 20 so that the primary antenna 15 and the antenna cover 12 pass through the opening 200 of the roof 20, the antenna cover 12 thus being in the protective cover 18, and so that the upper cover 13 touches the roof 20, inside the passenger compartment 21. The upper cover 13, the lower cover 14, the PCBA2 card and the electronic components 16 are located under the roof 20. The upper cover 13, the lower cover 14, the PCBA2 card and the electronic components 16 are located under the roof 20. The metal sheet 17 is all or part under the roof 20 according to the first or second embodiment chosen.
As shown on the figure 20 , the antenna cover 12 is thus covered by the protective cover 18 which was previously placed on the roof 20 and is positioned in the protective cover 18 thanks to the guiding and fixing protuberances 127. Thus, the operator no. 'does not need to hold the antenna box 11 with the hands since the latter is held via its antenna cover 12 under the roof 20. Then, as illustrated on the figure. figure 21 , the operator fixes the antenna housing assembly 11, metal sheet 17 on the roof 20 (inside the motor vehicle 2), thanks to the primary inserts 181, the fixing holes 201, the secondary inserts 131 and the locking devices. fixing 171, via the fixing screws 31. The roof 20 is sandwiched between the antenna box 11 and the protective cover 18.
The screwing makes it possible to perform a mechanical compressive action on the seal 182 which makes it possible to ensure the sealing function of the entire antenna module (s) 1. The seal 182 is thus sandwiched between the base 180 of the protective cover 18 and the surface exterior of the roof 20. Part of the roof 20 is thus sandwiched between the protective cover 18 and the antenna box 11.
The whole of the antenna module (s) 1 is thus fixed to the roof 20.
The figure 22 illustrates the aesthetic cover 2 on the roof 20 which covers the entire antenna module (s) 1.
The cut of the figure 23 illustrates the antenna housing 11, metal foil 17, protective cover 18, aesthetic cover 19, and primary antenna 15 assembly positioned and fixed on the roof 20.
It will be noted that the operator can very easily remove the metal sheet 17 and the antenna box 11 from the roof 20 by unscrewing the fixing screws 31.

Of course, the description of the invention is not limited to the embodiments described above.
Thus, in other non-limiting embodiments, instead of the roof of a motor vehicle 2, the body 20 of the motor vehicle 2 on which the antenna module (s) 1 is mounted can be the body of a tailgate. motor vehicle 2 or a motor vehicle trunk 2.
Thus, in another nonlimiting embodiment, the PCBA1 card comprises a size greater than the opening 200 of the roof 20.
Thus, in another nonlimiting embodiment, the primary antenna 15 may not be arranged vertically. It can be laid horizontally. In this case, it is part of the PCBA1 card in a non-limiting example.
Thus, in a non-limiting embodiment, the antenna module (s) may not have an antenna cover 12.
Thus, in a non-limiting embodiment, the metal foil 17 may be partially disposed in the antenna housing 11, these parts 175 being located outside the antenna housing 11.

  • elle permet de proposer un montage simple du module d'antenne(s) 1 dans son ensemble sur la carrosserie 20 (au dessus à l'extérieur de l'habitacle et en dessous à l'intérieur de l'habitacle) véhicule automobile 2 ;
  • elle permet grâce à la feuille métallique 17 une protection CEM entre l'antenne primaire 15 et un composant électronique 16 du boîtier antenne 11, et une bonne dissipation thermique ;
  • elle permet d'avoir un module d'antenne(s) 1 compacte et facile à monter ;
  • elle propose d'utiliser un moyen simple tel qu'une vis de fixation 31 pour une mise à la masse de l'ensemble du module d'antenne(s) 1 ;
  • elle permet d'utiliser un même moyen, la vis de fixation 31, pour fixer le module d'antenne(s) 1 sur la carrosserie 20 et pour une mise à la masse dudit module d'antenne(s) 1 ;
  • elle permet d'avoir une feuille métallique 17 démontable facilement ;
  • elle permet d'avoir un blindage électrique plus léger, moins encombrant, et moins épais que si c'était le capot supérieur 13 qui réalisait cette fonction ;
  • elle permet d'utiliser un boîtier antenne 11 en plastique tout en ayant un blindage électrique, ce qui permet d'avoir un boîtier antenne plus léger ;
Thus, the invention described has the following advantages in particular:
  • it makes it possible to offer a simple mounting of the antenna module (s) 1 as a whole on the body 20 (above, outside of the passenger compartment and below inside the passenger compartment) motor vehicle 2;
  • it allows, thanks to the metal foil 17, EMC protection between the primary antenna 15 and an electronic component 16 of the antenna housing 11, and good heat dissipation;
  • it makes it possible to have a compact and easy-to-assemble antenna module (s) 1;
