- the US$5,599,401 discloses a portable, handheld, battery-operated cleaning device.
- the invention is based on the object of providing a handheld suction device of the type mentioned above, which is easy to operate and has a compact design.
- the hand-held suction device By supporting the suction container downwards on the holder, the hand-held suction device has a mechanically stable and compact structure.
- the holder can be configured to hold the battery device independently of the suction container. In particular, this makes it easy to remove the battery device from the holder for the battery device or to insert the battery device, even if the suction container is arranged on the housing device.
- a suction material container can be realized which has a relatively large capacity for suction material.
- a compact design is achieved if the suction container is supported on the bottom against the holder for the battery device. This makes it possible in particular to remove a battery device from the holder towards the front or to insert it in the opposite direction.
- the suction container is "not in the way”. This makes it easy to integrate a removable battery device into the hand-held suction device. This makes it possible, for example, to achieve long operating times by using several battery devices and in particular rechargeable battery devices.
- the electrical energy supply to the suction blower device can be optimized. For example, an area of the holder which faces away from the suction container (if it is fixed to the housing device) can then be used to position electrical connection contacts. This in turn makes it easy to lead electrical connecting lines through the handle to the suction blower device.
- the handle is arranged between the housing device and the holder for the battery device at a distance from the suction container. This results in easy operation.
- the center of gravity of the suction device can be arranged in such a way that optimized operation and in particular one-hand operation for suction operation is achieved.
- the handle is connected to the holder for the battery device or to an element arranged on the holder and/or is connected to the housing device. This results in easy operation with a compact design.
- the holder for the battery device is assigned an insertion direction and a removal direction for a battery device, which are oriented transversely to a handle axis and/or transversely to a suction container axis. This makes it possible to create a compact suction device.
- the battery device can also be removed or inserted when the suction container is arranged on the housing device.
- a suction connection opening and/or a suction connection nozzle is advantageously arranged on the suction material container. This results in a compact structure.
- a support surface for the suction material container is formed on the holder for the battery device. This support surface forms a counter surface for supporting the suction material container on the holder.
- a guide device for positioning the suction container is provided on the holder for the battery device. is arranged on the holder for the battery device and/or that a guide device for positioning the suction material container is arranged on the holder for the battery device.
- the corresponding guide device allows guidance including centering of the suction material container in relation to the housing device. This results in simplified insertion of the suction material container on the housing device or easier removal.
- a pivot bearing is provided for the suction material container, by means of which the suction material container can be pivoted relative to the housing device at least within a certain pivot range. This results in easy insertion and removal of the suction material container, particularly with one-handed operation. For example, one hand can hold the suction device by the handle. The suction material container can then be inserted or removed with the other hand.
- the first step for insertion can be hooking it onto the pivot bearing, and the last step when removing the suction material container from the housing device is unhooking it from the pivot bearing.
- the pivot bearing is designed in such a way that when the suction material container reaches a certain pivot position away from the housing device, the suction material container can be detached from the housing device in the area of the pivot bearing. This results in simple operation and in particular one-handed operation with regard to removing the suction material container or inserting the suction material container.
- the pivot bearing has at least one immersion recess and at least one immersion element for the at least one immersion recess, wherein (i) an immersion element is arranged on the housing device and an associated immersion recess is arranged on the suction material container and/or (ii) an immersion element is arranged on the suction material container and an associated immersion recess is arranged on the housing device is arranged, and wherein an immersion element and the associated immersion recess are designed to be adapted to one another in such a way that in a certain position range of the suction material container in relation to the housing device, when the immersion element is immersed in an immersion recess, the suction material container can be pivoted towards the housing device, and that in a further certain position range the immersion element can be immersed out of the associated immersion recess in order to be able to remove the suction material container from the housing device.
- a pivot bearing is thus formed via the immersion recess and the immersion element, which allows the suction material container to be pivoted in relation to the housing device in a certain position range and allows it to be removed in another position range.
- This is possible via one-handed operation (holding the suction material container with one hand and holding the rest of the suction device with the other hand).
- the pivot bearing can then be easily hooked into place when a suction material container is inserted and pivoted towards the housing device. To remove a suction container, it can be swiveled and then unhooked once a certain swivel position has been reached.
- a suction material container part of the pivot bearing is arranged at an end of the suction material container facing away from the underside of the suction material container and a housing device part of the pivot bearing is arranged at an end of the housing device facing away from the holder for the battery device.
- the housing part of the pivot bearing is protected when it is arranged on the inside of a housing flange. This allows the pivot bearing to be designed in a structurally simple manner.
- a locking device is provided for releasably locking the suction material container to the housing device. This makes it easy to fix and lock the suction material container with respect to the housing device. It is easy to achieve an airtight flow path for the suction flow to the interior of the suction material container.
- a housing device part of the locking device is arranged on the housing device at a distance from the holder for the battery device and is arranged in particular at a distance from a pivot bearing for the suction material container.
- the housing part of the locking device is positioned adjacent to the handle and in particular adjacent to a switch arranged on the handle.
- the locking device is associated with a guide device for guiding the suction material container on the housing device. If the suction material container is then in a certain position range in relation to the housing device, the guide device can be effective and ensure pre-positioning or centering. This results in simplified use and, if necessary, removal.
- the locking device has at least one actuating element which is arranged on the suction material container, wherein the locking device is arranged and designed such that the at least one actuating element can be actuated with the same hand which holds the suction container when removing the suction container from the housing.
- a suction container can be removed or inserted with just one hand. (The other hand holds the suction device by the handle, for example.)
- the locking device has actuating elements arranged on opposite sides of the suction container.
- the suction container can be held by one hand without changing its grip.
- the corresponding fingertips for example the thumb and index finger, can then act on the actuating elements to release a lock.
- the housing device comprises a web element which is arranged between the holder for the battery device and the housing at a distance from the handle and is supported on the holder and directly or indirectly on the housing. This results in a stable structure.
- the housing device is then connected to the holder via both the handle and the web element.
- Elements of a locking device can also be arranged on the web element, for example. This makes it possible to achieve a fixing area for fixing (locking) the suction container to the housing device and the holder at different points.
- the web element is connected to the holder for the battery device and to the housing or to an area connected to the housing. This results in a stable mechanical structure of the suction device.

- the intermediate region which is in particular solid, lies between the suction fan device (which is arranged on the housing) and the handle.
- the web element is fixed to the intermediate region, on which the web element sits in particular in one piece.
- a projection can also be formed on the web element as a contact surface, in particular for a downward support for the suction material container.
- a filter device for the suction blower device can be arranged on the suction material container in a removable manner. This makes it easy to clean a removed suction material container, for example.
- a stop for the filter device is arranged on the housing device. This makes it particularly easy to clamp the filter device when the suction container is in a locked position on the housing device.
- a wall is arranged in an interior of the suction material container opposite a suction connection opening.
- the wall forms an impact wall for suction material. It also forms in particular a protective wall for a filter device.
- the impact effect of the wall can achieve a flow deflection. In this way, suction material can be fed to a flow rest zone in a particularly simple manner, and achieve a flow deflection in order to realize a separator for the separation of solid suction material from an air stream.
- the wall separates a suction chamber of the suction material container and a receiving chamber for a filter device, whereby the filter device in particular is removable.
- This allows a flow guide to be implemented which has a separating effect.
- a flow rest zone for suction material can be implemented in a simple manner.
- the wall advantageously provides a contact surface for the filter device. This results in a compact design of the suction material container.
- the wall has at least one opening and/or at least one opening is assigned to the wall, which is located between the intake chamber and a receiving chamber for the filter device. This allows a flow diversion to be achieved in order to guide a suction flow. The flow diversion in turn makes it easy to achieve a separator effect.
- the wall forms or provides a flow deflection area, where a suction flow in a suction chamber of the suction material container can be deflected to a feed flow to a filter device. This makes it easy to achieve a separator effect. Furthermore, a flow rest zone can be easily formed on the suction material container. Furthermore, a large storage volume for suction material can be provided for the suction material container.
- the flow deflection area on the suction material container is located at a height relative to a bottom of the suction material container, which is at least approximately equal to or greater than a height of the handle above a top of the holder for the battery device. This results in a compact design of the suction device and the suction material container.
- the Suction material containers can be designed with a high capacity for suction material.
- the suction material container has a flow rest area in its interior, which is connected in particular to an underside of the suction material container. This results in a high storage volume for suction material in the suction material container with a compact design of the suction device. A whirling effect for collected suction material is minimized.
- a holder for accessories is provided, which is arranged on a top side of the housing device.
- the holder is designed as a clip, through which an elastic force can be exerted in the direction of the top side of the housing device. This allows, for example, a suction nozzle to be clamped onto the top side of the housing device.
- connections in particular for a carrying strap, are arranged on the housing device and/or the holder and/or the handle. If the suction device is provided with the carrying strap, long periods of suction can be carried out without fatigue.
- connection piece is arranged on the suction container, which is relative to an interior of the suction container is rotatable and in particular is lockable. This allows the position of the suction device and in particular of the housing device, for example in relation to a suction pipe or a suction nozzle, to be optimally adapted to an application. Repositioning is possible if necessary.
- a pivot bearing for the suction connection piece is arranged on the suction material container. This provides extensive additional operating options.
- a rotation axis of the rotary bearing is oriented at an acute angle to an insertion/removal direction of the battery device on the holder for the battery device and/or is oriented at an acute angle to a suction container axis and/or is oriented at an acute angle to a handle axis. This results in extensive operating options.

This provides a correspondingly large bearing surface.
- the pivot bearing 106 has a locking device 114.
- the locking device 114 specifies a plurality of defined, discrete, lockable rotational positions.
- the bearing body 110 surrounds the counter area 112 of the suction connection piece 88.
- a locking element 116 is assigned to the counter area 112.
- the locking element 116 can be rotated about the axis of rotation 108 with the suction connection piece 88 on the pivot bearing 106.
- Locking counter elements 118 are arranged on the bearing body 110 in a spaced-apart manner on a ring.
- a locking element 116 comprises a locking lug 120 ( Figure 4 ).
- a locking counter element 118 is a Recess 122 into which the corresponding locking lug 120 can be inserted.
- a locking lug 120 is immersed in a recess, then a positive locking mechanism against rotation is achieved. By immersing the locking lug 120 through an associated recess 122 as a locking counter element 118, the rotation can be released (compare Figure 4 ).
- the locking element 116 is spring-loaded.
- a spring device 124 is provided for this purpose.
- the spring device 124 comprises in particular a compression spring 126.
- the locking device 114 comprises an actuating element 128, which is designed in particular as an actuating switch.
- the actuating element 128 is supported on a transverse wall 130 via the spring device 124 (via the compression spring 126).
- the transverse wall 130 is oriented transversely and in particular perpendicularly to the wall region 104.
- the transverse wall 130 is part of the counter region 112 of the pivot bearing 106.
- the locking lug 120 of the locking element 116 is arranged on the actuating element 128.
- the spring device 124 presses this locking lug 120 into the recess 122.
- the locking lug 120 can be pushed out of the associated recess 122 by overcoming the spring force of the spring device 124.
- the positive locking coupling between the counter region 112 and the bearing body 110 is canceled and the suction connection piece 88 can be rotated on the suction container 80 relative to the interior 84 of the suction container 80.
- only a single actuating element 128 and correspondingly only a single locking element 116 are provided.
- a grip ring 134 is arranged on the suction connection piece 88 on the counter area 112.
- the actuating element 128 is arranged on the grip ring 134.
- the grip ring 134 allows an operator to act on the suction connection piece 88 in an ergonomically favorable manner in order to rotate it in the pivot bearing 106 about the axis of rotation 108 relative to the body of the suction material container and to achieve a locking in the desired position by the locking device 114.
- the housing device 22 can therefore be repositioned as required relative to the suction nozzle or a suction pipe, for example, in order to obtain accessibility or improved accessibility during suction operation even in areas that are not accessible or only difficult to access.
- the suction material container 80 comprises a first region 136. This is limited by the wall region 104.
- the first region 136 has a suction chamber 138 into which the suction connection opening 90 opens.
- the first region 136 has at least approximately a triangular cross-sectional shape ( Figure 3 ).
- a non-return flap 140 is pivotably mounted on the first region 136 at the suction connection opening 90 on an inner side of the wall region 104.
- suction mode the negative pressure applied to the interior 84 ensures that the non-return flap 140 is opened and thus suction material can be coupled into the interior 84 of the suction material container 80.
- non-suction mode i.e. when there is no negative pressure applied to the interior 84, the non-return flap 140 is closed. This prevents suction material from falling out of the interior 84 through the suction connection opening 90.
- the intake chamber 138 is part of the interior space 84.
- the suction material container 80 further comprises a second region 142 which, relative to a transverse direction to the height direction 34 (when the suction material container 80 is arranged on the housing device 22), is arranged next to the first region 136 of the suction material container 80 and is arranged facing the suction fan device 26.

- the filter device 146 is removably positioned on the suction material container 80 ( Figure 5 ).
- the filter device 146 When the suction material container 80 is arranged on the housing device 22, the filter device 146 is connected upstream of the suction fan device 26. It prevents a supply of suction material and in particular dust to the suction fan device 26 in the housing 24.
- the wall 144 has, facing away from the suction connection opening 90, a contact surface 148 for the attachment of the filter device 146.
- the wall 144 is positioned at an acute angle to the first axis 98 of the first region 92 of the suction connection piece 88. This acute angle corresponds to the supplementary angle of the angle 102 at 180°.
- the first region 136 and the second region 142 of the suction material container 80 which lie next to one another in a transverse direction to an orientation direction of the wall 144, are fluidically connected to one another via one or more openings 150. This allows a suction flow to be generated in the suction chamber 138.
- the opening or openings 150 are formed, for example, as openings in the wall 144 or the wall 144 in the interior 84 of the suction material container 80 has a length such that an opening distance lies between a wall region 152 of the outer wall 82 of the suction material container 80 and the wall 144.
- the wall region 152 is provided in particular for contact or support on the web element 46 and in particular on the shoulder 76.
- the suction material container 80 further comprises a third region 154.

- the suction material container 80 is supported downwards on the holder 32 via its underside 156, i.e. downwards away from the suction fan device 26; in particular, the support on the holder 32 takes place against the height direction 34 away from the holder 32.
- the suction material container 80 sits on the holder 32 with its underside 156.
- the suction material container 80 is not supported downwards exclusively via the underside 156 of the suction material container 80 or not via this underside 156, but that the suction material container 80 has one or more support surfaces spaced from the underside for the downward support on the holder 32.

- the third region 154 extends along the suction container axis 160.
- the suction container axis 160 is oriented parallel to the handle axis 38 or at a small acute angle, which is in particular below 30° and preferably below 20°, and for example is approximately 15°, to the handle axis 38.
- the third region 154 of the suction material container 80 has a receiving space 162 for suction material, which is part of the interior space 84 and is connected to the suction space 138.
- the receiving space 162 is designed as a flow rest area (flow rest zone) in which the flow impact is reduced compared to the intake space 138 and a receiving space of the second region 142 for the filter device 146, via which the filter device 146 is acted upon. This at least reduces the possible whirling up of suction material which is located in the receiving space 162 of the third region 154.
- a separator can be implemented in a simple manner.
- the third region 154 with its receiving space 162 extends approximately over the height (in the height direction 34) of the free space 48. - the wall 144 forms a baffle wall and protective wall, which causes a flow deflection with a main flow direction 167, which is at least approximately parallel to the wall 144.
- the receiving space 162 adjoins the flow deflection area 164 downwards towards the underside 156. This is flow-calmed by the "cover” with the flow deflection area 164 as described above.
- the wall region 104 of the outer wall 82 of the suction material container 80 is adjoined by a wall region 168 which closes the second region 142 to an upper side 170 of the suction material container 80, which faces away from the lower side 156.
- the second region 142 of the suction material container 80 has an end face 172 which is designed to engage an associated end face 174 on the housing 24 and the housing device 22.
- a contact element 176 for the filter device 146 is arranged on the housing device 22 and in particular on the housing 24.
- the filter device 146 can be positioned accordingly between the contact element 176 and the wall 144. Elements can be provided which ensure a positive connection in transverse directions to the suction fan axis 82.
- One or more sealing elements can be assigned to the end face 182 and/or the end face 174 in order to obtain an airtight connection when the suction material container 80 is arranged on the housing device 22.
- the hand-held suction device 20 has a pivot bearing 178 ( Figure 2 ), which allows the suction container 80 to be pivoted on the housing device 22 within a certain angular range ( Figures 7 , 8th , 11 ).
- the flange 70 is arranged on the housing device 22 and in particular on the housing 24 on an upper side 180.
- the flange 70 is designed in the form of a tab (see, for example, Figure 5 ) and extends relative to the suction fan axis 62 in a finite angular range which is, for example, less than 40° and in particular less than 30° relative to opposite ends 182 of the flange 70.
- the flange 70 has a raised portion 184 facing the holder 32 ( Figures 2, 12).
- the elevation 184 is particularly bar-shaped.
- the elevation 184 forms an immersion element 186.
- a counter flange 188 is arranged on the wall region 168 of the second region 142 of the suction material container 80 ( Figures 2 , 12 ).
- the counter flange is also designed like a tab.

- the immersion element 186 is immersed in its associated immersion recess 190 ( Figure 2 ).
- a guide device 192 is arranged on the holder (and/or the suction material container 80) (see Figure 5 ), which provides guidance on the holder 32 when inserting the suction container 80.
- the guide device 192 comprises one or more webs and the suction material container 80 comprises on its underside 156 counter elements for the webs, such as grooves or the like.
- the handheld suction device 20 comprises a locking device 194, by means of which the suction material container 80 can be locked to the housing device 22.
- the locking device 194 has a housing device part 196 which is arranged on the housing device 22 and has a suction material container part 198 which is arranged on the suction material container 80.
- the housing device part 196 of the locking device 194 is arranged between the holder 32 and the upper side 180 of the housing device 22. It is arranged in particular on the web element 46 and preferably in the region of the projection 76.
- the suction material container part 198 of the locking device 194 is arranged between the underside 156 and the wall region 168 of the suction material container 80. In particular, it is positioned approximately centrally between this wall region 168 and the underside 156.
- the suction material container part 198 of the suction material container 80 is positioned below the second region 142 of the suction material container 80 and below the first region 136 or at the transition from the first region 136 to the third region 154.
- the housing device part 196 of the locking device 194 comprises spaced locking lugs 200a, 200b.
- the locking lugs 200a and 200b are spaced apart in a transverse direction to the height direction 34.
- the locking lugs 200a, 200b each have an undercut surface 202 which is oriented transversely to the height direction 34.
- the suction material container part 198 of the locking device 194 has a counter element 204a for the locking lug 200a, and has a counter element 204b for the locking lug 200b.
- the counter elements 204a and 204b are adapted to the locking lugs 200a, 200b in such a way that a contact with the respective undercut surface 202 is possible and, via a corresponding form fit, a mobility in one direction 206 ( Figure 9 ), which lies transversely to a spacing direction between the locking lugs 200a, 200b, and which lies transversely to the height direction 34, is locked.
- the counter elements 204a, 204b are designed to be elastic or arranged to be subjected to force in such a way that a force must be exerted in order to lead them out of the undercut surface 202 and in particular an elastic force must be exerted.
- an actuating element 208a is assigned to the counter element 204a and an actuating element 208b is assigned to the counter element 204b ( Figure 6 ).
- the actuating elements 208a, 208b are designed like switches and are located on an outer side of the suction material container 80. They are arranged parallel to the spacing direction between the locking elements 200a, 200b and transversely to the height direction 34 (when the suction material container 80 is fixed to the housing device 22).
- the actuating elements 208a, 208b are at the height of the shoulder 76. They are at the approximate height of the switch 42.
- suction material container 80 On the suction material container 80 they are located at the transition area from the first area 136 to the third area 154.
- the suction material container 80 is designed such that it can be held with one hand, in particular by grasping the outer wall 82, in particular the first area 136 and third area 154, and the actuating elements 208a, 208b can be operated in particular with the thumb and index finger. This makes it possible to release and remove the suction material container 80 with one hand via the locking device 194. Accordingly, it can be used with one hand.
- the locking device 194 is designed with the locking lugs 200a, 200b and the counter elements 204a, 204b in such a way that when the suction material container 80 is inserted into the housing device 22, automatic locking can be achieved without the actuating elements 208a, 208b having to be actuated; these are only necessary for releasing the locking device 194.
- the locking device 194 is assigned a guide device 210, by means of which a relative guidance to one another is achieved when the distance between the housing device 22 and the suction material container 80 is sufficiently small. This allows pre-centering for the locking device 194 to engage.
- the guide device 210 is designed in particular to be adapted to the guide device 192 of the holder 32.
- the pivot bearing 178 has a housing device part, namely the immersion element 176 and the flange 70 on which the immersion element 186 is arranged. This housing device part of the pivot bearing 178 is arranged on the inside, i.e. facing the holder 32.
- the pivot bearing 178 also has a suction material container part, which is formed via the counter flange 188 with the immersion recess 190.
- the immersion element 186 is adapted to the immersion recess 190 and in particular such a play is provided that pivoting is possible up to a certain position range without the immersion element 186 emerging (completely) from the immersion recess 190.
- a pivot axis 212 By placing the suction container part of the pivot bearing 178 on the housing device part of the pivot bearing, a pivot axis 212 (see Figure 12 ), which enables pivoting.
- the position of the pivot axis 212 is generally not fixed, but changes with the pivot position of the suction material container 80 relative to the housing device 22.
- the suction material container 80 is still coupled to the housing device 22 or the holder 32.
- the guide device 192 ensures a corresponding coupling.
- the suction material container 80 is located at a pivot angle 213 to the housing device 22.
- This pivot angle 213 is defined, for example, by the angle between the end faces 172 and 174.
- the immersion can take place via the immersion element 186 at the immersion recess 190 and thereby a complete detachment of the suction material container 80 from the housing device 22 can be achieved.
- the removed suction container 80 can then be emptied and cleaned if necessary.
- the filter device 146 can be removed (without tools) from the suction material container 80.
- the filter device 146 is inserted into the second area 142 of the suction material container 80.
- the wall 154 forms in particular a contact surface.
- the immersion recess 190 is "hooked" into the immersion element 186 of the flange 70 on the housing device 22.
- the suction material container 80 is then pivoted towards the housing device 22 and the holder 32. From a certain angular position, the guide device 192 acts on the underside 156 of the suction material container.
- the guide device 210 of the locking device 194 can then act. With a further closing movement, the locking device 194 can snap into place and the suction material container 80 is locked to the housing device 22 and supported on the holder 32.
- the locking is carried out with a certain pre-tension force, which presses the end face 172 against the end face 174 in order to achieve a high level of tightness.
- This can also be used to clamp the filter device 146 if necessary.
- the housing device 22 is constructed, for example, by means of two half-shells 300, 302 ( Figures 6 , 19 ), which abut one another at a central plane 304 and are in particular locked together.
- the intermediate region 40 is provided with at least one rib 306 ( Figure 19 ). This at least one rib 306 extends at least approximately parallel to the upper side 44 of the holder 32 up to the web element 46.
- each housing shell 300, 302 has at least one corresponding rib 306.
- the at least one rib 306 lies in an extension (at least approximately parallel to the upper side 44) of the web element 46. It consequently absorbs main locking forces of the locking device 194 in the corresponding longitudinal direction transversely (and in particular perpendicular) to the height direction 34.
- the at least one rib 306 has at least one passage 308, in particular in the form of a notch, through which one or more electrical connecting lines 56 are then passed to the suction fan device 26.
- notches of mutually corresponding ribs 306 of the half-shells 300 and 302 then form the corresponding passage opening.
- the combination of the ribs 306 or a partial combination of the ribs 306 is designed as a wall 310, which is a flow barrier for flowing air from the housing 24 into the handle 36; the wall 310 largely prevents the penetration of flowing air from the housing 24 into an interior of the handle 36.
- the intermediate region 40 further comprises, in particular delimited by ribs 306, a storage space 312, in particular for cables and in particular for the electrical connecting lines 56.
- a contact strip 314 for battery contacts of the battery device 30 is arranged on the holder 32.
- the electrical connecting lines 56 lead to a circuit board 316 on or in the housing 24.
- the combination of contact strip 314, electrical connecting lines 56 and circuit board 316 is manufactured as a unit. This unit is then completely inserted into the corresponding half-shell (for example the half-shell 300).
- the circuit board 316 is inserted into the intermediate area 40 or into the housing 24. For this assembly, a play of the connecting lines 56 is necessary and the storage space 312 can then accommodate the corresponding "excess" line length.
- the half shells 300 and 302 are then connected to each other.
- the handheld suction device 20 comprises a holder 214 for accessories 216 such as a suction nozzle.
- the holder 214 is particularly attached to the top 180 ( Figure 1 ) of the housing device 22.
- the holder 214 comprises a clip 218 or is formed by a clip 218.
- This clip 218 can exert an elastic force in the direction of the top side 180 of the housing device or in the direction away from the top side. As a result, for example, the clip 218 can be pushed into an opening of a suction nozzle and the suction nozzle is pressed downwards against the top side 180 of the housing device 22.
- the suction device has connections 220a, 220b for a carrying strap 222.
- connections 220a, 220b for a carrying strap 222 For example, continuous openings are formed on the holder 32 and on the housing device 22 in the region of the housing 24 and in particular in the region of the second end 66, in which openings, for example, respective rings are positioned. These in turn can then accommodate the carrying strap 222.
- the handheld suction device 20 functions as follows: For suction operation, the suction material container 80 is arranged on the housing device 22 and locked to it. The suction material container 80 is supported downwards on the holder 32 for the battery device 30. The suction material container 80 is placed on the web element 46.
- a battery device 30 can be inserted into the insertion device 58b without being obstructed by the suction material container 80 or removed in the direction 58a. Even if the suction material container 80 is fixed to the housing device 22, the battery device 30 can be removed or inserted.
- the hand-held suction device 20 has a type of pistol grip with the handle 36. Heavy components of the hand-held suction device 20, namely the suction blower device 26 and the battery device 32, are arranged on different sides of the handle 36.
- the suction device 20 is designed in such a way that the center of gravity is balanced, so that working is comfortable.
- a suction flow is generated by the suction fan device 26; the suction fan device 26 ensures that the interior 84 of the suction material container 80 is subjected to negative pressure.
- the negative pressure is coupled in through the filter device 146.
- Suction material is sucked in via the corresponding suction flow (air flow). It flows through the suction connection piece 88. At the transition from the second area 94 to the first area 92 of the suction connection piece 88, a flow deflection takes place according to the angular arrangement of the second axis 100 to the first axis 98 (relative to a main flow direction). Suction material in the suction flow penetrates through the suction connection openings 90 into the suction chamber 138 of the suction material container 80.
- the wall 144 acts as a baffle and also as a protective wall for the filter device 146. It ensures a flow deflection with a main flow 167.
- the suction flow 167 is directed into the receiving space 162 of the suction material container 80. Furthermore, a flow diversion follows through the opening 150 to the filter device 146. This achieves a separating effect for solid suction material.
- the receiving space 162 of the third region 154 is directed outside of a flow area towards the filter device 146.
- a flow rest zone is formed in which suction material can "deposit" so that the tendency for it to be stirred up in the receiving space 162 is reduced.
- the main receiving area for suction material of the suction material container 80 is located opposite the handle 36 and has a height above the holder 32 which essentially corresponds to the height (in the height direction 34) of the handle 36 above the holder 32.
- the suction connection piece 88 can be rotated relative to the rest of the suction container 80 (relative to the outer wall 82) via the pivot bearing 106 ( Figures 13 to 18 ).
- the second area 94 of the suction connection piece 88 can be changed in its position relative to the rest of the suction material container 80. This makes it possible to adapt it to a specific cleaning application. This allows the position of the housing device 22 with the suction material container 80 to be varied relative to, for example, a suction nozzle or a suction pipe in order to obtain an optimized suction result for an application.
- an operator holding the suction device 20 with one hand on the handle 36 can perform the rotation with the other hand by pressing the actuating element 128 to release an existing position of the suction port 88 and then rotation of the handle ring 134 can be performed to obtain the desired setting.
- discrete rotational positions are provided and locking can then take place when a locking lug 120 is opposite a locking counter element 118.
- the actuating elements 208a, 208b are pressed.
- an operator holds the suction device 20 by the handle 36 with one hand, for example, and then acts on the actuating elements 208a, 208b with the fingers of the other hand. He can then also hold the suction material container 80 with the latter hand.
- the locking on the locking device 194 is released.
- the suction material container 80 can then be pivoted away from the housing device 22 by increasing the pivot angle 213.
- the immersion element 186 can then be removed through the immersion recess 190 and the suction material container 80 can then be completely detached from the housing device 22. It can then be emptied and cleaned if necessary.
- the filter device 146 is detachably arranged on the suction material container 80. It can be removed to allow better access for cleaning the suction material container 80 in its interior 84. Furthermore, the filter device 146 can thus be easily replaced.
- the solution according to the invention results in easy operation of the suction device 20 with extensive operating options.
- the suction material container 80 can hold a relatively large amount of suction material via its third area 154.
- the battery device 30 can be replaced.
- the replacement is possible in a simple manner without having to remove the suction container 80.
- the handheld vacuum cleaner 20 has several operating modes with different power levels for the suction fan device 26.
- the housing device 22 is constructed to be mechanically stable. It is connected to the holder 32 via the handle 36 as well as via the intermediate region 40.
- the intermediate region 40 between the housing 24 and thus between the suction fan device 26 and the handle 36 results in a mechanically stable connection of the web element 46 to the housing device 22. Forces acting on the locking device 194 can be diverted into the housing device 22.
- the housing device part 196 of the locking device 194 can also be arranged on the web element 46.
- the shoulder 76 provides support for the suction material container 80 on the web element 46 via the wall region 152 downwards.

This object is achieved according to the invention in the hand-held suction device mentioned at the outset in that the suction material container is supported downwards on the holder for the battery device.
By supporting the suction container downwards on the holder, the hand-held suction device has a mechanically stable and compact structure. The holder can be configured to hold the battery device independently of the suction container. In particular, this makes it easy to remove the battery device from the holder for the battery device or to insert the battery device, even if the suction container is arranged on the housing device.
Furthermore, a suction material container can be realized which has a relatively large capacity for suction material.
A compact design is achieved if the suction container is supported on the bottom against the holder for the battery device. This makes it possible in particular to remove a battery device from the holder towards the front or to insert it in the opposite direction. The suction container is "not in the way". This makes it easy to integrate a removable battery device into the hand-held suction device. This makes it possible, for example, to achieve long operating times by using several battery devices and in particular rechargeable battery devices. Furthermore, the electrical energy supply to the suction blower device can be optimized. For example, an area of the holder which faces away from the suction container (if it is fixed to the housing device) can then be used to position electrical connection contacts. This in turn makes it easy to lead electrical connecting lines through the handle to the suction blower device.
In particular, the handle is arranged between the housing device and the holder for the battery device at a distance from the suction container. This results in easy operation. The center of gravity of the suction device can be arranged in such a way that optimized operation and in particular one-hand operation for suction operation is achieved.
It is advantageous if the handle is connected to the holder for the battery device or to an element arranged on the holder and/or is connected to the housing device. This results in easy operation with a compact design.
It is also advantageous if electrical connecting cables lead from the holder for the battery device through the handle to the suction blower device. This keeps the cable path short. This makes it easy to manufacture the suction device.
It is particularly advantageous if the holder for the battery device is assigned an insertion direction and a removal direction for a battery device, which are oriented transversely to a handle axis and/or transversely to a suction container axis. This makes it possible to create a compact suction device. The battery device can also be removed or inserted when the suction container is arranged on the housing device.
A suction connection opening and/or a suction connection nozzle is advantageously arranged on the suction material container. This results in a compact structure.
It is advantageous if a support surface for the suction material container is formed on the holder for the battery device. This support surface forms a counter surface for supporting the suction material container on the holder.
It is particularly advantageous if a guide device for positioning the suction container is provided on the holder for the battery device. is arranged on the holder for the battery device and/or that a guide device for positioning the suction material container is arranged on the holder for the battery device. The corresponding guide device allows guidance including centering of the suction material container in relation to the housing device. This results in simplified insertion of the suction material container on the housing device or easier removal.
It is particularly advantageous if a pivot bearing is provided for the suction material container, by means of which the suction material container can be pivoted relative to the housing device at least within a certain pivot range. This results in easy insertion and removal of the suction material container, particularly with one-handed operation. For example, one hand can hold the suction device by the handle. The suction material container can then be inserted or removed with the other hand. In particular, the first step for insertion can be hooking it onto the pivot bearing, and the last step when removing the suction material container from the housing device is unhooking it from the pivot bearing.
It is advantageous if the pivot bearing is designed in such a way that when the suction material container reaches a certain pivot position away from the housing device, the suction material container can be detached from the housing device in the area of the pivot bearing. This results in simple operation and in particular one-handed operation with regard to removing the suction material container or inserting the suction material container.
In one embodiment, the pivot bearing has at least one immersion recess and at least one immersion element for the at least one immersion recess, wherein (i) an immersion element is arranged on the housing device and an associated immersion recess is arranged on the suction material container and/or (ii) an immersion element is arranged on the suction material container and an associated immersion recess is arranged on the housing device is arranged, and wherein an immersion element and the associated immersion recess are designed to be adapted to one another in such a way that in a certain position range of the suction material container in relation to the housing device, when the immersion element is immersed in an immersion recess, the suction material container can be pivoted towards the housing device, and that in a further certain position range the immersion element can be immersed out of the associated immersion recess in order to be able to remove the suction material container from the housing device. A pivot bearing is thus formed via the immersion recess and the immersion element, which allows the suction material container to be pivoted in relation to the housing device in a certain position range and allows it to be removed in another position range. This is possible via one-handed operation (holding the suction material container with one hand and holding the rest of the suction device with the other hand). In particular, the pivot bearing can then be easily hooked into place when a suction material container is inserted and pivoted towards the housing device. To remove a suction container, it can be swiveled and then unhooked once a certain swivel position has been reached.
In particular, a suction material container part of the pivot bearing is arranged at an end of the suction material container facing away from the underside of the suction material container and a housing device part of the pivot bearing is arranged at an end of the housing device facing away from the holder for the battery device. This results in a compact structure with easy operation with regard to removing the suction material container or inserting the suction material container. When removing, the housing device can be pivoted away from the holder. When inserting, the housing device can be pivoted towards the holder.
The housing part of the pivot bearing is protected when it is arranged on the inside of a housing flange. This allows the pivot bearing to be designed in a structurally simple manner.
It is also advantageous if a locking device is provided for releasably locking the suction material container to the housing device. This makes it easy to fix and lock the suction material container with respect to the housing device. It is easy to achieve an airtight flow path for the suction flow to the interior of the suction material container.
In particular, a housing device part of the locking device is arranged on the housing device at a distance from the holder for the battery device and is arranged in particular at a distance from a pivot bearing for the suction material container. This makes it possible to connect the suction material container to the housing device and the holder at several points in order to achieve optimized fixation and in particular airtight flow guidance. The suction material container can be removed and inserted in a simple manner.
For the same reason, it is advantageous if the housing part of the locking device is positioned adjacent to the handle and in particular adjacent to a switch arranged on the handle.
It can be provided that the locking device is associated with a guide device for guiding the suction material container on the housing device. If the suction material container is then in a certain position range in relation to the housing device, the guide device can be effective and ensure pre-positioning or centering. This results in simplified use and, if necessary, removal.
It is advantageous if the locking device has at least one actuating element which is arranged on the suction material container, wherein the locking device is arranged and designed such that the at least one actuating element can be actuated with the same hand which holds the suction container when removing the suction container from the housing. This means that a suction container can be removed or inserted with just one hand. (The other hand holds the suction device by the handle, for example.)
It is advantageous if the locking device has actuating elements arranged on opposite sides of the suction container. The suction container can be held by one hand without changing its grip. The corresponding fingertips, for example the thumb and index finger, can then act on the actuating elements to release a lock.
It is particularly advantageous if the housing device comprises a web element which is arranged between the holder for the battery device and the housing at a distance from the handle and is supported on the holder and directly or indirectly on the housing. This results in a stable structure. The housing device is then connected to the holder via both the handle and the web element. Elements of a locking device can also be arranged on the web element, for example. This makes it possible to achieve a fixing area for fixing (locking) the suction container to the housing device and the holder at different points.
It is advantageous if the web element is connected to the holder for the battery device and to the housing or to an area connected to the housing. This results in a stable mechanical structure of the suction device.
It is also advantageous if a locking device for the suction container for fixing the suction container to the housing device is arranged at least partially on the web element. This results in a mechanically stable fixation of the suction container to the rest of the suction device, whereby the suction container can be easily (in particular via One-hand operation) can be removed or inserted. An airtight connection between the suction container and the housing device with regard to a suction flow can be achieved in a simple manner.
It is particularly advantageous if the web element is connected to an intermediate region of the housing device, which is connected to the handle and via which the handle is spaced from the housing and thus from the suction fan device. The intermediate region, which is in particular solid, lies between the suction fan device (which is arranged on the housing) and the handle. The web element is fixed to the intermediate region, on which the web element sits in particular in one piece. For example, a projection can also be formed on the web element as a contact surface, in particular for a downward support for the suction material container.
To achieve the above-mentioned object, a filter device for the suction blower device can be arranged on the suction material container in a removable manner. This makes it easy to clean a removed suction material container, for example.
It is advantageous if a stop for the filter device is arranged on the housing device. This makes it particularly easy to clamp the filter device when the suction container is in a locked position on the housing device.
The object mentioned at the beginning is further achieved according to the invention in that a wall is arranged in an interior of the suction material container opposite a suction connection opening. The wall forms an impact wall for suction material. It also forms in particular a protective wall for a filter device. The impact effect of the wall can achieve a flow deflection. In this way, suction material can be fed to a flow rest zone in a particularly simple manner, and achieve a flow deflection in order to realize a separator for the separation of solid suction material from an air stream.
It is advantageous if the wall separates a suction chamber of the suction material container and a receiving chamber for a filter device, whereby the filter device in particular is removable. This allows a flow guide to be implemented which has a separating effect. Furthermore, a flow rest zone for suction material can be implemented in a simple manner.
The wall advantageously provides a contact surface for the filter device. This results in a compact design of the suction material container.
It is also advantageous if the wall has at least one opening and/or at least one opening is assigned to the wall, which is located between the intake chamber and a receiving chamber for the filter device. This allows a flow diversion to be achieved in order to guide a suction flow. The flow diversion in turn makes it easy to achieve a separator effect.
It is advantageous if the wall forms or provides a flow deflection area, where a suction flow in a suction chamber of the suction material container can be deflected to a feed flow to a filter device. This makes it easy to achieve a separator effect. Furthermore, a flow rest zone can be easily formed on the suction material container. Furthermore, a large storage volume for suction material can be provided for the suction material container.
In particular, the flow deflection area on the suction material container is located at a height relative to a bottom of the suction material container, which is at least approximately equal to or greater than a height of the handle above a top of the holder for the battery device. This results in a compact design of the suction device and the suction material container. The Suction material containers can be designed with a high capacity for suction material.
The object mentioned at the beginning is further achieved according to the invention in that the suction material container has a flow rest area in its interior, which is connected in particular to an underside of the suction material container. This results in a high storage volume for suction material in the suction material container with a compact design of the suction device. A whirling effect for collected suction material is minimized.
In particular, with respect to a main flow direction for the introduction of suction material into the flow rest area, there is an intake chamber into which a suction connection opening opens and a flow deflection area in which a flow is deflected to a filter device above the flow rest area. This results in a compact structure of the suction material container and thus of the suction device. A high intake volume for suction material can be achieved in the suction material container with a compact structure of the suction device.
In one embodiment, a holder for accessories is provided, which is arranged on a top side of the housing device. This allows accessories to be stored in a space-saving manner. For example, the holder is designed as a clip, through which an elastic force can be exerted in the direction of the top side of the housing device. This allows, for example, a suction nozzle to be clamped onto the top side of the housing device.
It can also be provided that connections, in particular for a carrying strap, are arranged on the housing device and/or the holder and/or the handle. If the suction device is provided with the carrying strap, long periods of suction can be carried out without fatigue.
For ease of use, it is advantageous if a connection piece is arranged on the suction container, which is relative to an interior of the suction container is rotatable and in particular is lockable. This allows the position of the suction device and in particular of the housing device, for example in relation to a suction pipe or a suction nozzle, to be optimally adapted to an application. Repositioning is possible if necessary.
In particular, a pivot bearing for the suction connection piece is arranged on the suction material container. This provides extensive additional operating options.
It is advantageous if a rotation axis of the rotary bearing is oriented at an acute angle to an insertion/removal direction of the battery device on the holder for the battery device and/or is oriented at an acute angle to a suction container axis and/or is oriented at an acute angle to a handle axis. This results in extensive operating options.

The
The

The
As a result, the
The
This results in a stable fixation and locking of the
