Definitions

  • Devices for moving a furniture part received on a furniture body of a piece of furniture, with guide means of the device being provided with at least one swivel arm for pivoting the furniture part, with which, when the device is installed, the furniture part moves from a closed position into an open position of the furniture part relative to the furniture body and back is movable.
  • Such a device has a base unit with a base plate on which the guide means act in such a way that a pivot axis, about which the at least one pivot arm is pivotable, is transverse to a base plate plane spanned by the base plate.
  • Such devices are, for example, furniture fittings such as flap or upper flap fittings. In the case of modern furniture, a particularly space-saving and visually appealing accommodation of the movement device is desired. As a rule, the pivotable furniture part is accommodated on a furniture body via two comparable units of the movement device.
  • JP S59 32071 U discloses an embodiment of a piece of furniture having a base plate with angled wall sections.
  • the object of the present invention is to improve a piece of furniture with a device for moving a furniture part movably received on a furniture body with guide means for pivoting the furniture part, in particular with regard to a stable and variably adjustable attachment to the furniture.
  • the invention is based on a piece of furniture with a furniture body and a movable furniture flap received on it with a device for moving the furniture flap received on the furniture body of the piece of furniture, which is pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis, guide means of the device having at least one pivot arm for pivoting the furniture flap are provided, with which the furniture flap can be moved from a closed position into an open position of the furniture flap relative to the furniture body and back when the device is installed, the device having a base unit with a base plate on which the guide means engage in such a way that a pivot axis about which the at least one swivel arm is pivotable, stands transversely to a base plate plane spanned by the base plate.
  • the device of the furniture accordingly comprises the body-side base unit, the guide means with a swivel arm arrangement, preferably with an energy storage device and / or a damper device, and a flap-side mounting plate.
  • the base unit includes the base plate with one thereon attachable base plate cover or a housing plate.
  • a cover such as a cover cap or cover plate can preferably be placed on the base plate cover.
