Definitions
- the invention relates to a connection profile for components adjoining plaster, in particular for window or door frames, with a base leg for component-side fastening, with a plaster leg oriented essentially perpendicular to the base leg, and with a cover strip and tear-off tab protruding towards the component.
- a reveal connection profile for components adjoining plaster has become known.
- the profile has a two-part base leg (inner leg and outer leg), which is equipped with a sealing tape on the component side.
- a relative movement both in the plane of the built-in part and in a direction away from the built-in part is absorbed by a flexible tab which connects the inner leg to the outer leg.
- the outer leg has a plastering web angled substantially perpendicular thereto.
- the inner leg has a sealing tape with which the soffit connection profile is glued onto the component.
- the flexible tab starts from the cover strip protruding in the direction of the component and is attached to a narrow side of the inner leg. Even with a movement of the outer leg relative to the inner leg attached to the component, which increases the gap between the inner leg and the outer leg, it remains closed to the outside by the flexible tab arranged in the front area.
- the outer leg has a cover strip which projects in the direction of the component and which at least partially projects beyond the gap between the outer leg and the inner leg. Furthermore, the narrow side of the inner leg facing away from the reveal can also be covered by the cover strip.
- the cover strip has a plaster pull-off edge on the side facing the component.
- the soffit connection profile has a detachable tear-off tab with an adhesive tape for receiving a cover film, which is attached via a predetermined breaking point in the area of the plaster pull-off edge.
- a reinforcement fabric is also attached to the plastering web.
- the well-known reveal connection profile is mainly used for facades with insulation panels, but is unsuitable when applying several layers of plaster one after the other.
- a soffit connection profile with a base profile which is equipped on the component side with a self-adhesive sealing tape and can thus be attached to the component.
- An outer profile of the two-part soffit connection profile has a plaster leg, which is connected to the base profile by a flexible tab. The plaster leg of the outer profile can be pivoted to accommodate an insulation layer.
- the base profile When installing the reveal connection profile, the base profile is first attached to the component by gluing or screwing. Then the plaster leg can be folded or swiveled in the direction of the component so that the insulation layer can be placed on the base profile without any problems and aligned with the help of the edge of an adjustment bar. Then the plaster leg of the outer profile is folded up and attached to the outside of the insulation layer. For this purpose, the plaster leg has an adhesive layer on a side facing the insulation layer.
- the documents EP2116683 and DE202014102622U disclose other prior art connection profiles.
- the object of the invention is to improve a connection profile for components adjoining plaster in such a way that assembly is facilitated, especially when several plaster layers, for example an insulating plaster layer and a final coating, are to be applied one after the other in the reveal area of a door or window opening. Furthermore, a simple, inexpensive production of the connection profile should be guaranteed.
- connection profile according to claim 1 wherein the plaster leg has a kink web in the area facing away from the cover strip, which can be torn off by means of a material constriction and / or predetermined breaking point.
- this kinked web can be oriented essentially parallel to the base leg or slightly inclined in the direction of the cover strip and serves to simplify the application of a base plaster layer, for example an insulating plaster layer, in the reveal area. After the base plaster layer has hardened, the kink web can be separated or torn off at the material narrow point or the predetermined breaking point.
- a base plaster layer for example an insulating plaster layer
- a film strip which can be removed with the kink web is attached to the kink web, the one on the outside of the plaster leg Reinforcement grille fastened loosely on the kinked web protects against contamination when the base plaster is applied.
- connection profile has a further plastering leg, preferably fastened to the base leg, the plastering edge of which is arranged in the area of a plane defined by the plastering leg.
- This plaster removal edge of the second plaster leg serves as a dimensionally accurate removal aid for the base plaster layer, for example an insulating plaster layer, with openings being provided in the plaster leg for better anchoring it in the insulating plaster layer.
- Connection profile 1 shown for a component 20 adjoining a plaster layer is equipped in the example shown with a base leg 2 for component-side fastening, with a first plaster leg 3 oriented essentially perpendicular to the base leg 2, and with a cover strip 6, including a tear-off tab 8, which protrudes in the direction of the component 20.
- the tear-off tab 8 is connected to the cover strip via a material narrow point or a predetermined breaking point 26 and has an adhesive tape 27 initially covered with a protective strip for attaching a protective film on the upper side.
- the plastering leg 3 has a kinked web 4, which can be torn off by means of a material constriction 5 and which in the Is aligned essentially parallel to the base leg 2, with a film strip 9 that can be torn off with the kink web 4 is attached to the kink web 4.
- the connection profile 1 according to the invention thus has two tear-off webs, on the one hand the kink web 4, which is removed after the application of a base layer of plaster, and on the other hand the tear-off tab 8, which is only removed after the finishing layer (final coating) has cured after all plastering work has been completed.
- the kink web 4 can also be attached to the plastering leg 3 via a predetermined breaking point 7, which is designed as a plastic strip that is adjusted to be soft with respect to the material of the plastering leg 3.
- the predetermined breaking point 7 and the material constriction 5 can also - as in Fig. 1a indicated - can be used in combination.
- a reinforcing grille 16 loosely attached to the kinked web 4 is attached, the reinforcing grille 16 - after the kinked web 4 has been torn off - can be folded up parallel to the plastering limb 3.
- connection profile 1 has a further (second) plastering leg 10 fastened to the base leg 2 in the example shown, the plastering edge 11 of which is arranged above the material constriction 5 in the area of a plane ⁇ defined by the plastering leg 3. It would also be possible to attach the plaster extraction edge 11 to an extension of the plaster leg 3. For better anchoring in the insulating plaster layer, the plaster leg 10 can have openings or perforations 28.
- the base leg 2 of the connection profile 1 can be either in one piece or, as in the preferred embodiment variant, according to FIGS. 1, 1a and 2 - be designed in two parts and have an inner leg 12 that can be fastened to the component and an outer leg 14 connected to the plaster leg 3 and the cover strip 6.
- An adhesive tape 17, for example a double-sided adhesive tape, with a removable protective strip 18 is provided for attachment to the component 20.
- an elastic insulating or sealing strip 13 (for example a double-sided adhesive tape) is arranged between the inner leg 12 and the outer leg 14 of the base leg 2.
- the inner leg 12 can be connected to the outer leg 14 or to the cover strip 6 via a flexible tab 15 in order to ensure a tight connection when the elastic sealing strip 13 becomes detached.
- the surface of the outer leg 14 facing the elastic sealing strip 13 can have a groove or knob structure 19 in order to reduce the adhesive force of the sealing strip 13 at this point.
- connection profile 1 thus has a first plaster receiving area, spanned by the base leg 2 and the plaster leg 3, for a base layer of plaster, preferably an insulating plaster layer 21, and a second plaster receiving area, spanned by the cover strip 6 and the plaster leg 3, for a final coating 23 including the filler 22 for the reinforcement grid 16.
- Fig. 11 shows a variant of the connection profile 1, in which the base leg 2 is made in one piece and is attached directly to the component 20, not shown here, with the adhesive tape 17.
- Fig. 12 - also designed with a one-piece base leg 2 - the second plaster leg 10 is omitted, with the first plaster leg 3 protruding beyond the material constriction 5 of the kink web 4 and serving as a plaster extraction surface or plaster extraction edge 11 for the insulating plaster layer 11.

As a fastening means, the inner leg has a sealing tape with which the soffit connection profile is glued onto the component.
The flexible tab starts from the cover strip protruding in the direction of the component and is attached to a narrow side of the inner leg. Even with a movement of the outer leg relative to the inner leg attached to the component, which increases the gap between the inner leg and the outer leg, it remains closed to the outside by the flexible tab arranged in the front area.
The outer leg has a cover strip which projects in the direction of the component and which at least partially projects beyond the gap between the outer leg and the inner leg. Furthermore, the narrow side of the inner leg facing away from the reveal can also be covered by the cover strip.
The cover strip has a plaster pull-off edge on the side facing the component. To protect the components adjoining the plaster, the soffit connection profile has a detachable tear-off tab with an adhesive tape for receiving a cover film, which is attached via a predetermined breaking point in the area of the plaster pull-off edge. A reinforcement fabric is also attached to the plastering web.
The well-known reveal connection profile is mainly used for facades with insulation panels, but is unsuitable when applying several layers of plaster one after the other.

The object of the invention is to improve a connection profile for components adjoining plaster in such a way that assembly is facilitated, especially when several plaster layers, for example an insulating plaster layer and a final coating, are to be applied one after the other in the reveal area of a door or window opening. Furthermore, a simple, inexpensive production of the connection profile should be guaranteed.
According to the invention this is achieved by a connection profile according to
According to the invention, this kinked web can be oriented essentially parallel to the base leg or slightly inclined in the direction of the cover strip and serves to simplify the application of a base plaster layer, for example an insulating plaster layer, in the reveal area. After the base plaster layer has hardened, the kink web can be separated or torn off at the material narrow point or the predetermined breaking point.
According to the invention, a film strip which can be removed with the kink web is attached to the kink web, the one on the outside of the plaster leg Reinforcement grille fastened loosely on the kinked web protects against contamination when the base plaster is applied.
In a further embodiment, the connection profile has a further plastering leg, preferably fastened to the base leg, the plastering edge of which is arranged in the area of a plane defined by the plastering leg. This plaster removal edge of the second plaster leg serves as a dimensionally accurate removal aid for the base plaster layer, for example an insulating plaster layer, with openings being provided in the plaster leg for better anchoring it in the insulating plaster layer.

- The insulating
plaster layer 21 can now be peeled off to size on theplaster removal edge 11 of theplaster leg 10, with plaster residue being able to remain on thefilm strip 9. The drying or hardening of the insulatingplaster layer 21 is awaited. - Fig. 8:
- After drying or hardening of the insulating
plaster layer 21, thekink web 4 together with thefilm strip 9 at thematerial constriction 5 is torn off from theplaster leg 3 and thereinforcement grille 16 is folded up against the insulatingplaster layer 21. - Fig. 9:
- The
reinforcement grid 16 is now embedded, together with a flat fabric, in afiller compound 22, wherein after the filler compound has hardened 22 the final coating or the finishingplaster 23 is applied, the front edge of thecover strip 6 serving as a pull-off edge. The predetermined breaking point of the tear-offtab 8 must remain free. - Fig. 10:
- After the
final coating 23 has cured, theprotective film 25 can be removed and then the tear-offtab 8 can be bent upwards and pulled off thecover strip 6. Only a shadow gap remains visible through the flexible tab 15 (seeFig. 1a ) is permanently sealed.
According to the invention, the
