Claims (5)

  1. A percussive handheld power tool (1) with a tool holder (2) for supporting a percussive tool (4) on a working axis (3), an electric motor (8), a striking mechanism (5) which has an exciter (13), a striker (14), which is coupled to the exciter (13) via a pneumatic chamber (18) arranged between the exciter (13) and the striker (14), and a ram (15) arranged in the direction of percussion (6) in front of the striker (14), wherein the ram (16), in a working position, rests on a stop (22) against the direction of percussion (6), the ram (15) is displaced to the working position in a starting position in the direction of percussion (6), and in the ram (15) is displaced to the starting position in the direction of percussion (6) in a position of rest, with a slide valve (25) formed by a first radial opening (24) of the pneumatic chamber (16) and the striker (14), wherein the striker (14), in the starting position, closes the slide valve (25) resting on the ram (15), and wherein the striker (14), in the position of rest, opens the slide valve whilst resting on the ram (15), with a second radial opening (30) of the pneumatic chamber (16), and a shutoff valve (28), characterised in that the shutoff valve (26), is closed in the working position, actuated by the ram (15), and in that the shutoff valve (28) is automatically opened in the starting position, in that the handheld power tool (1) has a non-return valve (29) which is connected to the shutoff valve (28) on the inlet side, and which is connected to the second radial opening (30) of the pneumatic chamber (16) on the outlet side, and in that the pneumatic chamber (16) has a throttle opening (33) for exchanging air between the pneumatic chamber (16) and the area surrounding the handheld power tool (1).

The handheld power tool (1) according to Claim 1, characterised by a slide valve (25) which is formed by a radial opening (24) of the pneumatic chamber (16) and the striker (14), wherein the slide valve (25) for the pneumatic chamber (16) is closed by the striker (14) resting on the ram (15) lying in the working position, and wherein the slide valve (25) is opened by the striker (14) resting on the ram (15) lying in the direction of percussion (6) in front of the working position.
  3. The handheld power tool (1) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the shutoff valve (28) has an elastic barrier body (44) which is separated in an unclamped basic form from a valve seat of the shutoff valve, and which is elastically clamped by the ram (15) lying in the working position, and is deformed whilst resting on the valve seat.
  4. The handheld power tool (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the throttle opening (33) is arranged at a point of reversal of the exciter (13) on the striker side.
  5. The handheld power tool (1) according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the throttle opening (33) to the cross-sectional area of the channel opening (30) is less than one to twelve.
