Description

The invention relates to a pergola awning with at least two guide rails on which a plurality of cross bars are movably mounted and wherein a flexible shading element is arranged between two cross bars, wherein a peripheral belt, in particular a toothed belt, engages and / or is attached to the front cross bar in the direction of extension of which the foremost cross rung can be moved along the guide rails in the direction of extension in the direction of extension or in the direction of retraction, and the further cross bars are free-running.

Such pergola awnings are known. A disadvantage of the known pergola awnings is that the process of the free-running cross bars is undefined and that undesirable noises can occur in the process of the free-running cross bars.

From document DE 20 2009 002 799 U1 A pergola awning with at least two guide rails is known, on which a plurality of cross bars are movably supported, a flexible shading element being arranged between the cross bars, with a circumferential belt being attached to the front cross bar in the extension direction, by means of which the front cross bar as a pulling profile is extended along the extension direction the guide rails can be moved and the other cross bars are free-running.

From document EP 1 964 999 A2 a pergola awning with several cross bars is known, which can be moved along guide rails, the frontmost cross bar being connected to a belt by means of a carriage.

From document US 2016/0130836 A1 a pergola awning with several cross bars is known, which can be moved by means of a rope, the cross bars each being firmly connected to the rope by means of hooks.

From document EP 2 284 330 A1 An awning is known with a plurality of cross rungs which can be moved along guide rails, the cross rungs each being firmly connected to the drive means.

From document DE 20 2008 006 223 U1 an awning with several cross rungs is known, which can be moved along lateral guides.

The object of the invention is to overcome these disadvantages and to provide a pergola awning which in particular has improved running properties.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a pergola awning according to claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

Particularly advantageous for the pergola awning with at least two guide rails on which several cross bars are movably supported and where a flexible shading element is arranged between two cross bars, whereby a peripheral belt, in particular a toothed belt, engages and / or is attached to the front cross bar in the direction of extension Whose front cross bar can be moved along the guide rails in the direction of extension in the direction of extension or in the direction of retraction and the other cross bars are free-running, it is that the belt and the free-running cross bars are detachably coupled to one another.

Such pergola awnings have a plurality of cross rungs, which are arranged between lateral guide rails. The side guide rails thus define the direction of extension. The cross bar arranged at the rear in the direction of extension is fixed to the guide rails, i.e. cannot be moved along the guide rails. A drive means, such as a belt, engages on the front cross bar in the direction of extension. By means of the drive means, the foremost crossbar in the extension direction is moved forward in the extension direction or moved backwards against the extension direction. In particular, a toothed belt with reinforcement can be used as the drive means.

A plurality of free-running cross bars is arranged between the front cross bar in the outward direction and the rear fixed cross bar. Free-running means the fact that these cross rungs can be moved along the guide rails without a drive means acting directly on the free-running cross rungs. A flexible shading element is arranged between each two cross bars and fastened to the two cross bars. If the foremost crossbar in the extension direction is extended in the extension direction, the individual shading elements arranged between the crossbars are gradually tensioned and the next free-running crossbar is pulled in the extension direction by means of the tensioned shading element.

Conversely, when the foremost crossbar is moved against the direction of extension, the flexible shading elements are relaxed so that they hang freely between the crossbars. As soon as the foremost cross bar in a method runs against the extension direction onto the following free-running cross bar, this free-running cross bar is moved against the extension direction by means of the foremost driven cross bar. As soon as this package of crossbars runs onto the next subsequent free-running crossbar, this free-running crossbar is also moved against the direction of extension and so on until the entire package of movable crossbars stops as far as possible on the fixed, i.e. the last cross bar moved in the direction of extension.

The terms of the direction of extension, in this sense the foremost, first crossbar and the rearmost, last crossbar are used to understand the function without being restricted to a specific arrangement, although with a conventional arrangement of such a pergola awning on the terrace on a wall of a The house shows the direction of extension away from the house. Such a pergola awning can serve both as sun protection and as rain protection. The flexible shading elements can be formed by transparent and / or partially transparent and / or opaque elements. Individual sections of shading elements can each be arranged between the cross bars, or longer sections of shading elements can be arranged across several cross bars, or a single shading element can be arranged across all cross bars. In this case, the shading element is preferably attached to the cross bars in order to ensure a uniform extension and retraction.

The detachable coupling of the belt and the free-running cross bars defines the extension and retraction of the cross bars. The free-running cross rungs are free-running with respect to the guide rails and are, however, carried along in a defined manner by the belt, which engages and / or is attached to the front cross-bar in the extending direction, during extension and retraction. The two can with the strap Ends are attached to the foremost cross bar and / or it can be an endless belt that engages the foremost cross bar and moves it in the direction of extension and retraction. The belt can be a toothed belt.

The belt and the free-running cross bars are preferably coupled to one another in a frictionally and / or non-positively and / or positively and / or magnetically detachable manner. Single or multiple coupling types can thus be used and in particular combined. The coupling types thus serve to bring the free-running crossbars in and out in a defined manner. This avoids an uncontrolled movement of the free-running cross-bars and the overall running properties of the cross-bars are improved.

The belt preferably exerts a force directly or indirectly on the movable cross bars, in particular at least on the free-running cross bars, with a component perpendicular to the course of the belt. This means that the belt exerts a force directly or indirectly on the crossbars with a component perpendicular to the direction of movement of the belt. By means of such a force component, the cross rungs are guided in a defined manner relative to the guide rails, so that the running properties are improved and in particular rattling noises are prevented when the free-running cross rungs are moved.

In a preferred embodiment, the free-running cross rungs and / or carriages, by means of which the free-running cross rungs can be moved on the guide rails, each have at least one contact area on their upper side, on which a belt serving as a drive means rests. This contact area serves for releasable, in particular frictional engagement and / or magnetic coupling of belts and the free-running cross bars. In particular, the belt serving as the drive means and / or the. Cross bars or carriages on the Contact areas have magnets that releasably couple the belt and the contact areas magnetically. When the magnetic holding force is exceeded, the magnets slide on each other when the pergola awning is extended and the magnetic connection is released in a defined manner. When the pergola awning is retracted, the magnetic connection is closed again when the corresponding position of the crossbar relative to the belt is reached.

The belt is preferably guided over at least two deflection rollers, the free-running cross bars and / or carriages, by means of which the free-running cross bars can be moved on the guide rails, each have at least one contact area on their upper side, the cross sections of the free-running cross bars at least in the contact areas the crossbars protrude into the span of the lower chord of the belt.

The belt is thus guided over at least two deflection rollers. The cross-sections of the free-running cross bars are accordingly dimensioned at least in the contact areas in which the belt rests on the free-running cross bars and / or carriages in such a way that they intersect the line that results when a tangent is placed on the two deflection rollers which is the bottom of the belt. Due to the fact that this tangent is cut, the underside of the belt necessarily rests on the contact areas of the cross bars and / or carriages. In this way, on the one hand, a compressive force is exerted on the crossbars and / or running carriages with a component perpendicular to the running direction of the belt. Furthermore, there is static friction between the belt and the cross bars and / or trolleys in the contact areas, so that the cross bars are carried along in a defined manner by the belt lying on them, until either two free-running cross bars are in contact with each other when the belt is run in and the belt is then over the crossbars slide away or in the opposite direction when extending the flexible shading element arranged between two crossbars is stretched and a further extension of the in this view in Extending direction of the front cross rung is prevented by the tensioned shading element.

The cross bars are preferably detachably coupled to one another. In particular, the cross bars can be magnetically and / or mechanically detachably coupled to one another. By coupling the crossbars to one another in this way, the method of the crossbars in the extension direction and / or the direction of entry can be further defined. In particular, extension can take place in such a way that the free-running cross rungs are pulled out one after the other from the front to the rear, so that in the front region a flexible shading element is stretched between two cross rungs before the cross-rap closest to it is extended. This means that when the pergola awning is partially extended, the shading located between two retracted crossbars hangs down and the package of hanging shading elements hangs in the rear area and not over the terrace area in a disruptive manner in the front area. Rather, an extension in the extension direction takes place such that the first shading element in the extension direction is tensioned first and then the second shading element and so on, so that the last, rearmost shading element in the extension direction is tensioned last.

The releasable coupling of the cross bars can be done indirectly, for example via a releasable coupling of carriages, by means of which the cross bars are movably mounted on the guide rails. The detachable coupling of the cross bars can alternatively or cumulatively also take place directly on the cross bars.

In the case of a magnetic coupling, the magnetic couplings of the individual cross rungs can be provided with one another in such a way that the force required to release the magnetic connection increases from front to back in order to achieve a defined behavior of the cross rungs when the pergola awning is extended. Accordingly, it would first be the magnetic connection between the first and the extending directions Loosen the second cross bar and after the tensioning of the shading element between the first and second cross bar next loosen the magnetic connection between the second and third cross bar in the extending direction and so on. It can also be effected and / or supported by a corresponding selection of the magnetic connections that the first shading element in the extension direction is tensioned first and then the second shading element and so on, so that the last, rearmost shading element in the extension direction is tensioned last.

The belt preferably has a plurality of drivers which are positioned such that in each case one driver can come into engagement with an assigned cross rung. Such a driver can ensure that each cross bar of the free-running cross bars comes into engagement with the corresponding driver on the belt in a defined manner and is moved in the desired manner.

In particular, each cross rung can be movably supported on the guide rails by means of carriages. Furthermore, the crossbars can have dampers which dampen the contact and in particular a coupling between two crossbars. Such dampers prevent undesirable noises when the pergola awning is retracted. Alternatively or cumulatively, the carriages, by means of which the crossbars are movably mounted on the guide rails, can have dampers which dampen the contact and in particular a coupling between two crossbars.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the figures and is explained below. Show it:
Figure 1

Figure 2
an enlarged view of detail A after Figure 1 ,

Figure 1 shows the section through the cross bars 10, 20, 30, 40 of a pergola awning. The representation according to Fig. 1 is only schematic and not to scale.

The cross rungs 10, 20, 30, 40 of the pergola awning are mounted on the guide rail 1. The direction of extension of the pergola awning is indicated by the arrow 2. The circumferential toothed belt 3 is fastened to the frontmost cross bar 10. The toothed belt 3 is guided over the deflection rollers 4, 5, 6. The toothed belt 3 is driven in the entry and exit directions by an electric motor acting on the deflection roller 6. By means of the toothed belt 3 fastened to the foremost cross bar 10, the foremost cross bar 10 is moved directly along the guide rail in the extension direction to the front or back to the rear. In the illustrated embodiment, a drive means in the form of the toothed belt 3 is arranged on one side of the pergola awning. Alternatively, a drive means can also be arranged on each of the two guide rails, which acts on both ends of the first cross bar 10 and moves it in the extension direction 2 and in the entry direction along the guide rails 1.

The further cross bars 20, 30 arranged behind the frontmost cross bar 10 with respect to the extension direction are freely supported on the guide rail 10. The rearmost cross bar 40 in the extension direction is fixed on the guide rail. This means that the rearmost cross bar 40 in the extension direction 2 cannot be moved. Flexible shading elements 15, 25, 35 are arranged between the cross bars. As in Figure 1 Shown schematically, the shading element 35 fastened between the last free-running cross bar 30 seen in the extending direction and the rearmost fixed cross bar 40 fixed in the extending direction. This means that a further movement of the free-running cross rung 30 in the extension direction 2 is no longer possible. The cross rungs 20, 30 have partially moved apart, so that the shading element 25 arranged between them has already been partially stretched as it is is indicated by the reduced sagging of the shading element 25. The representation according to Figure 1 is therefore purely schematic and not to scale.

In a further method of the foremost cross rung 10 by means of the toothed belt 3 in the extension direction 2, with the pergola awning extended to the maximum, all shading elements 15, 25, 35 would be tensioned between the cross bars 10, 20, 30, 40. The pergola awning is not only used for shading, but can also be used as rain protection.

Eine vergrößerte Darstellung des Details A nach Fig. 1 zeigt Fig. 2.The storage of the cross bars 10, 20; 30 on the guide rails 1 is carried out by means of corresponding carriages 12, 22, 32, which in turn roll with corresponding rollers 13, 14, 23, 24, 33, 34 along a corresponding profile of the guide rail 1. An enlarged view of detail A after Fig. 1 shows Fig. 2 ,

Hierdurch erfolgt ein definiertes Ausfahren der freilaufenden Quersprossen 20, 30 in Ausfahrrichtung 2.The toothed belt 3 is guided over the deflection rollers 4, 5, 6. The free-running transport profiles 20, 30 each have a contact area 21, 31 on the top of their carriages 22, 32, which is positioned and dimensioned such that it intersects the tangent between the deflection rollers 4, 5. Accordingly, the toothed belt 3 necessarily rests on the contact areas 21, 31 and forms a frictional connection. This means that as long as the shading elements 25, 35 arranged behind the free-running cross bars 20, 30 in the extending direction are not fully tensioned, the free-running cross bars are carried by the toothed belt 3 in the extending direction by the frictional engagement at the contact areas 21, 31. This results in a defined extension of the free-running cross rungs 20, 30 in the extension direction 2.

Furthermore, the cross rungs are coupled to one another in the retracted position by magnets 52, 53. As soon as the foremost cross bar 10 seen in the extension direction comes into contact with the subsequent cross bar 20, the magnetic contact is made by the magnet 52 arranged on the carriage 22 of the second cross bar 20. Likewise, at a further retraction of the pergola awning by the magnet 53 on the carriage 32 of the next free-running cross bar 30, the magnetic contact is established. As a result, the cross bars are detachably magnetically coupled to one another.

In order to avoid undesirable noises when the pergola awning is retracted, the carriages 12, 22, 32 catalyze damping elements 50 which come into contact when the pergola awning is retracted in the opposite direction to the extension direction 2 when the cross bars 10, 20, 30 are pushed together and the contact is steamed accordingly. Bel the dampers 50 are rubber buffers, which are correspondingly reversibly deformable and prevent noise when the cross bars 10, 20, 30, 40 move together.
