Claims (5)

  1. Direct plug connector (10) which can be contacted with the contact holes (22) of a circuit board (17),
    - having a housing produced by injection moulding which supports plug contacts (19),
    - having coding pins (25) which co-operate with coding holes (27) in the circuit board (17),
    - the housing being of two parts comprising a contact support (11) and a retaining cover (15) surrounding the contact support (11),
    - and the contact support (11) has latching grooves (13) and expanding dowels (16),
    - and the retaining cover (15) has latching ribs (14) which co-operate with the latching grooves (13) of the contact support (11),
    - and the retaining cover (15) supports expansion pins (23) which co-operate with the expanding dowels (16) of the contact support (11),
    - and the retaining cover (15) supports the coding pins (25) on the external surface and the coding pins (25) are disposed integrally on and removable from the housing by means of a material accumulation located between the housing and coding pin (25),
    - and the coding pins (25) are disposed on the housing so that they can be sheared off along a cutting zone by means of a cutting tool (28).
  2. Direct plug connector as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the retaining cover (15) has hook parts (24) by means of which several direct plug connectors (10) can be disposed one against the other forming a chain for packaging purposes.
  3. Direct plug connector (10) as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the material accumulation is the cutting zone for a cutting tool (28) shearing off a coding pin (25).
  4. Direct plug connector (10) as claimed in claim 1 or 3, characterised in that a travel path is formed along the plug connector housing which affords a cutting tool (28) free access to the cutting zone of the coding pin (25).
  5. Direct plug connector (10) as claimed in claim 4, characterised in that the coding pins (25) are oriented in the plug-in direction and the travel path is likewise oriented in the plug-in direction.
