  6. The ground compacting machine according to any one of claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the enclosure (8) comprises walls (26) having inwardly projecting anchoring means (32, 34) which are connected to the concrete core (16).
  7. The ground compacting machine according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the impact-proof enclosure (8) comprises walls made of plastic material.
  8. The ground compacting machine according to claim 7, characterized in that the walls (26) of the enclosure (8) comprise an incorporated reinforcement structure (20), wherein the walls (26) preferably comprise a fiber-reinforced plastic material.
  9. A method for producing a ballast weight (6) for a ground compacting machine, particularly for a single-drum roller (1), comprising a machine frame (2) supporting a body (4), wherein at least one ballast weight (6) adapted to the body (4) is fastened to the machine frame (2),
    characterized in that
    said ballast weight (6) is at least partially enclosed by an impact-proof enclosure (8) adapted to the shape of the body (4), said enclosure being used as a component part of the body (4).
  10. The method according to claim 9, characterized in that, as a filling material, a concrete core (16) comprising integrated reinforcement structures (20) is used.
  11. The method according to any one of claim 9 to 10, characterized in that the enclosure (8) largely enclosing the concrete core (16) is used as a casting mold for a concrete core (16), wherein, in said enclosure (8), a concrete core (16) for use as a weighting filling material is formed by introducing not yet hardened concrete, or that an already hardened concrete core (16) adapted to the enclosure is inserted.
  12. The method according to any one of claim 9 to 11, characterized in that, for the walls (26) of the impact-proof enclosure (8), an impact-resistant plastic material or a fiber-reinforced plastic material is used.
  13. The method according to any one of claim 9 to 12, characterized in that the impact-proof enclosure (8) is provided, on its inner side, with an adhesive layer before a subsequently solidifying filling material is filled in, or that, after the filling material has been filled in and has solidified, a gap between the enclosure (8) and the filling material that has been caused by a shrinking process or has remained after insertion of a prefabricated concrete core (16), is filled by adhesive material.
  14. The method according to any one of claim 9 to 13, characterized in that, for producing the ballast weight (6), a reinforcement structure (20) for the filling material is first inserted into the impact-proof enclosure (8), that, prior to or after installation, the reinforcement structure (20) is provided with fastening means (18) for attachment to the machine frame (2) and that, subsequently, the solidifying filling material is filled into the enclosure (8) having the reinforcement structure (20) inserted into it.
  15. The method according to any one of claim 9 to 14, characterized by using anchoring means (32,34) projecting inwardly from the walls (26) of the enclosure (8) wherein, during the casting of the solidifying filling material, said anchoring means will be enclosed whereby, after solidification of the filling material, a rigid connection is formed between the walls (26) of the enclosure (8) and the solidified filling material.
