Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sliding door guide for a motor vehicle with the features of the preamble of claim 1 and a motor vehicle with a sliding door having the features of the preamble of claim 14.
  • Sliding doors on motor vehicles are regularly guided on two or three rails, which are arranged laterally on the motor vehicle and extend in the longitudinal direction corresponding to the direction of travel.
  • the various rails regularly have the function to accommodate different loads on the sliding door.
  • a number of conventional constructions provide for the weight of the sliding door to be substantially completely occupied by a central one of three rails with respect to a vertical direction and the other two rails - especially the rail disposed vertically upwards - merely to pull in a transverse direction to the above To let take longitudinal direction.
  • sliding door guides for a motor vehicle of the prior art are known in which a door holder fastened to the sliding door has a conventional roller which runs inside a U-profile formed by an upper guide rail.
  • this construction is simple and basically unproblematic in manufacture and assembly, but the corresponding sliding door guide is designed as above only for a tensile load through the door holder. Consequently, additional forces or torques must be absorbed by the other parts of the sliding door guide or by other constructions.
  • the DE 27 45 611 A1 describes a device for guiding a sliding door on the side wall of motor vehicles on a guide rail provided thereon by means of a roller carriage mounted on the door body, comprising with its rollers the guide rail profile ,
  • the device is characterized in that the carriage is movably mounted in a fixed to the door body rigid holder in three degrees of freedom
  • the US 2004/0003484 A1 describes a support and guide unit for a sliding door, which comprises a support for attachment to a first structural element of a motor vehicle.
  • a roller assembly is rotatably mounted about a first axis on the carrier and adapted to roll on a support and guide rail.
  • the support and guide rail is adapted to be arranged on a second structural element of the motor vehicle and to slide relative to the first structural element.
  • the US 2,900,207 discloses a vehicle body having a cut-away side portion forming a door opening in a vertical plane offset at an edge from the outer surface of the body, and a door having a triangular section section extending inwardly at its lower end mating is in the door opening and relatively movable support means, which connect the body and the lower end portion of the door directly to each other, and means at a point of the body for supporting the upper part of the door in a manner that allows the door relative thereto to move laterally.
  • the WO 2005/028794 A1 describes a guide system for a sliding door comprising a track with an upper cover and a lower cover opposite the upper cover and a roller element guided with a roller element housing, wherein three rollers are rotatably mounted on the roller element housing, wherein two rollers on the upper cover of the track and the third roller run along the lower end, wherein on the roller element housing, a spring element is attached, which acts on one of the first two rollers and the third roller against the track rail.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a sliding door guide which is compact in its dimensions and inexpensive to manufacture and which is additionally suitable for receiving loads in other directions.
  • this object is achieved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1 and related to a motor vehicle a sliding door having the features of the preamble of claim 14, this object is solved by the features of the characterizing part of claim 14.
  • the proposed sliding door guide for a motor vehicle comprises a door holder for attachment to a sliding door, a rail for guiding the door holder and a roller assembly fixed to the door holder, the roller assembly having a plurality of rollers with a roller contour for rolling on a rail contour of the rail, so the roller assembly is slidable along the rail.
  • a profile of the roller or of the rail is to be understood in a cross-section under the roller contour and the rail contour, specifically that part of the profile of the roller or of the rail over which unwinding takes place.
  • Parts of the profile of the roller or the rail which may only perform a sliding movement to each other - ie a relative movement under the occurrence of sliding friction - do not count to the role contour or the rail contour in this sense.
  • the above cross section is defined by the longitudinal direction of the rail, which in turn corresponds to the direction in which the roller assembly is displaceable along the rail.
  • This longitudinal direction can also change in sections along the rail by, for example, the rail takes a curvy course.
  • the proposed sliding door guide is characterized in that the roller contour engages in the rail contour such that two angularly mutually arranged engagement surfaces arise.
  • the roller contour engages in the rail contour such that two angularly mutually arranged engagement surfaces arise.
  • Angled means here and below that the two engagement surfaces form an angle greater than 0 ° and less than 180 ° to each other.
  • the engagement surfaces are not necessarily straight, but may also have a particular curvy course in sections.
  • the proposed sliding door guide can therefore take on additional support tasks, so that the other guide rails of the vehicle for the sliding door can be relieved accordingly.
  • a preferred embodiment of the proposed sliding door guide is characterized in that by the engagement of the roller contour in the rail contour a positive connection in a vertical direction, in which vertical direction acts a weight force exists between the roller contour and the rail contour.
  • This weight can result from the sliding door, from the door holder and / or from the roller assembly itself.
  • the weight of the sliding door in particular, regularly represents the most important part of the loads to be absorbed by a sliding door guide.
  • the engagement surfaces are substantially adjacent to each other.
  • the engagement surfaces form an angle to each other between 45 ° and 135 °, wherein this angle can be in particular between 60 ° and 120 °, more particularly between 60 ° and 90 °.
  • this angle can be in particular between 60 ° and 120 °, more particularly between 60 ° and 90 °.
  • a transition surface between the engagement surfaces is smaller than both engagement surfaces.
  • the one-dimensional extent in a sectional view can be applied transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rail.
  • the transition surface is smaller than one third of the engagement surfaces in this sense.
  • the proposed sliding door guide is characterized in that two rollers of the roller assembly form a roller pair, which roller pair is rotatably mounted on a common connecting plate of the roller assembly.
  • the roller assembly may also have more than two rollers, which may then form correspondingly more than one roller pair.
  • the roller assembly comprises two connecting plates, each with a roller pair attached to it.
  • the proposed sliding door guide is characterized in that the two connecting plates are in particular pivotally mounted on a base plate of the roller assembly.
  • the type of arrangement allows the roller assembly to follow a possibly curved course of the rail.
  • the two connecting plates are arranged offset to one another on the base plate in a longitudinal direction of the rail. This offset then allows the proposed sliding door guide to also absorb torques about an axis defined by the longitudinal extent of the door holder.
  • the roller assembly comprises a spring arrangement for exerting a tensile stress on the connecting plates.
  • the spring arrangement has a tension spring fastened to both connection plates.
  • a preferred embodiment of the proposed sliding door guide is characterized in that, in engagement of the pairs of rollers with the rail, the connecting plates to which the respective pair of rollers is attached, are aligned at an angle to each other.
  • the distance between the two rollers of the roller pair is slightly larger than would be required for an exact fit to the rail.
  • This makes it possible to be more generous both in tolerating the rail and in tolerating the connecting plates or the arrangement of the roller pair on the connecting plate, which saves manufacturing costs.
  • the spring arrangement by the tensile force biases the connecting plates so that existing between the roller contours and the rail contours game is canceled by pivoting the connecting plates.
  • connection plates compensates for the basically existing clearance between the roller contours and the rail contours.
  • the orientation of the connection plates results here and subsequently from that direction which is defined by the offset of the rollers attached to the connection plate.
  • a further preferred embodiment of the proposed sliding door guide is characterized in that the roller assembly is pivotally mounted on the base plate on the door holder.
  • the base plate is pivotally connected to the door holder, so that the roller assembly can be pivoted overall over the base plate relative to the door holder.
  • the base plate is fixed to the door holder between the two connection plates. In this way, a suitable distribution of the load on both connecting plates and thus on the pairs of rollers of the connecting plates is achieved.
  • the door holder has two interconnected support arms, which are arranged to each other displaceable to change the distance between the sliding door and the rail.
  • the proposed rail has two rail contours. In particular, these can be arranged with mirror symmetry relative to one another, relative to the longitudinal direction of the rail. Then it may be preferred accordingly that the two rollers of the roller pair are also arranged mirror-symmetrically relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the rail.
  • a preferred embodiment of the proposed sliding door guide provides that the rail contour is arranged on the rail facing outward. Further, it is preferred that the rail has two opposite and outwardly facing rail contours, which may be identical in particular. With the identity in this sense, the above case of a mirror symmetry is meant. This variant makes it possible to include the rail on both sides of the roller assembly, whereby the absorption of a torque about the longitudinal direction of the rail is facilitated.
  • a further preferred embodiment of the proposed sliding door guide is characterized in that the connecting plates are aligned substantially transversely to the rail, so that the respective roller contour of the two rollers of the pair of rollers attached to the respective connecting plate are in engagement with the respective rail contour on opposite sides of the rail.
  • An orientation transverse to the rail is equivalent to an orientation transverse to a longitudinal direction of the rail.
  • the rail has an opening for receiving the roller and the rail contour is arranged in the opening inner contour.
  • the role - or the plurality of roles - are performed within the rail, which makes the sliding door guide overall very compact.
  • the rail has two opposite and arranged in the opening, in particular identical, rail contours.
  • the connection plate is disposed substantially collinear with a longitudinal direction of the rail so that both rollers of the pair of rollers attached to the connection plate are received by the opening.
  • the rail can run straight.
  • a preferred embodiment of the proposed sliding door guide provides, however, that the rail has a rail portion with a radius and the roller assembly along the rail section with the radius is displaceable. This allows greater flexibility with respect to the movement of the sliding door. With respect to the spring arrangement is then preferred that the spring arrangement is arranged offset to the rail in the direction of an inner side of the radius.
  • the proposed motor vehicle has a sliding door and at least two along a direction of travel of the motor vehicle extending and vertically offset sliding door guides.
  • the proposed motor vehicle is characterized in that an upper of the at least two sliding door guides is a proposed sliding door guide.
  • Preferred features and embodiments of the proposed motor vehicle result from the preferred features and embodiments of the proposed sliding door guide.
  • roller assembly 3 has a total of four rollers 4a-d with a respective roller contour 5, wherein the - for both embodiments substantially identical - roller contour 5 in the Fig. 2 and in the Fig. 5 is clearly visible.
  • the rollers 4a-d each roll with the roller contour 5 on the corresponding rail contour 6 of the rail 2.
  • the term of unwinding is used synonymously with that of unwinding, ie, the presence or absence of deformation of the roller 4a-d does not matter.
  • the door holder 1 and the sliding door - can be moved along the rail 2.
  • the engaging surfaces 7a, b formed by the engagement to recognize which are recognizably angularly to each other.
  • roller contour 5 and the rail contour 6 are thus substantially complementary to each other.
  • the two connecting plates 11a, b of the roller assembly 3 to recognize which are each pivotally mounted on a common base plate 12 of the roller assembly 3. They have an offset in a longitudinal direction 14 of the rail 2 in terms of their attachment, wherein this longitudinal direction 14 corresponds to the extension direction of the rail 2 and thus that direction in which the roller assembly 3 along the rail 2 is displaceable.
  • On each connecting plate 11a, b is a pair of rollers 10a, b of two rollers 4a-d rotatably mounted.
  • the base plate 12 in turn is pivotally attached to the door holder 1 via a connecting pin 13.
  • the spring assembly 15 - consisting of a tension spring 16 - the roller assembly 3 to recognize which spring assembly 15 exerts a tensile force on the connecting plates 11a, b.
  • the door holder 1 has two retaining arms 17a, b, which are for adjusting the distance of the sliding door to the rail 2 to each other and especially in each other.
  • Fig. 1 to 3 can be from the Fig. 1 recognize that caused by the spring assembly 15 bias on the connecting plates 11a, b causes them at an angle - and thus not parallel - are aligned with each other. So it is the distance between the rollers 4a-d of a pair of rollers 10a, b slightly larger than would be required for a precise fit according to the transverse extent of the rail 2. The resulting play is offset by the pivoting of the connecting plates 11a, b, which causes pivoting to the above angular orientation.
  • an identical rail contour 6 is arranged on both sides of the rail 2 facing outwards.
  • the term "pointing outwards" here refers to that transverse direction to the longitudinal direction 14 of the rail 2, which is defined by the longitudinal extent of the door holder 1. Accordingly, regardless of the above-described deviation from the right angle resulting from their angular orientation, the connecting plates 11a, b are arranged substantially transversely to the rail 2 and allow the rollers 4a-d of a pair of rollers 10a, b or whose roller contours 5 engage in these outwardly facing rail contours 6 on opposite sides of the rail 2.
  • connection plates 11a, b are aligned substantially collinear with the longitudinal direction 14 of the rail 2.
  • the rail 2 has a curved rail portion 19, which can therefore be described as a rail portion 19 with a radius.
  • the roller assembly 3 along the rail 3 is not only displaceable on the straight sections of the rail 2, but also along this rail section 19 with the radius.
