  • the present invention relates to an industrial control lever and more particularly to a control lever with improved sealing and durability which is suitable to be used in industry, agriculture, construction equipment, marine vessels, aviation and similar fields of operation.
  • multi-axis control levers that are widely used in industrial field have become widespread. These multi-axis control levers are used to control complicated industrial machines operated under strict conditions. It is known to use the control levers, also called as joystick, with a plurality of control keys, switches and rollers. It is important that the switches and rollers which are provided on the control lever and serve as control elements are resistant to sealing problems especially at strict conditions. It is possible to provide said elements resistant to sealing problems in an individual manner, but due to the specific structure of the handle section of the control lever which is grabbed by the user; it may be problematic to appropriately insert them therein. It is not possible to fit a plurality of switches and rollers inside the control lever, with each one being sealed in itself.
  • control lever is designed ergonomically, the outer surfaces of which are mainly consisted of inclined and curved surfaces. Therefore, manufactures apply one or more printed circuit boards (PCB) to the inner surface of the control lever so as to establish an interaction of the switches and rollers with the printed circuit boards. In cases where multiple switches and rollers are coupled to a printed circuit board, upper surface of the printed circuit board is left opened and thus the sealing problem cannot be solved. This may especially cause problem in non-cabin construction equipment and tractors.
  • the user does not know whether the switch is inactive in applications including contactless dead man's switches, and in applications where the dead man's switch is activated but not to be pressed for a certain period of time. The user cannot understand whether a controller area network (CAN) communication is in operation and there is a failure in the CAN line. To this end, another indicator is needed or failure detection should be performed by means of a diagnostic device.

  • Control levers are designed which are actuated by means of a capacitive sensor either mechanically or contactless, but when the user touches the respective switch, the signals from the control lever are taken into account whereas undesired lever movements and switch signals cannot be taken into account without touching the switch. Claims (11)

  1. Steuerungshebel (1) zum Ermöglichen einer mehrachsigen Steuerung durch Anbringen an einer Steuerungshebelbasis (2), umfassend:
    einen vorderen Griffabschnitt (6), der dazu geeignet ist, von einem Benutzer gehalten zu werden, und in der Lage ist, sich axial zu bewegen, einen hinteren Griffabschnitt (7), der mit dem vorderen Griffabschnitt (6) gekoppelt ist;
    eine Vielzahl von Schaltern (15), die vom Benutzer gesteuert und als Steuerelemente verwendet werden können, und
    mindestens eine Leiterplatte (18), umfassend eine am oberen Teil des vorderen Abschnitts (6) angeordnete Vorderfläche (30) und eine Vielzahl von Schalterlöchern (31), die auf der Vorderfläche (30) bereitgestellt sind und eine Vielzahl von Schaltern (15) aufnehmen; dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Steuerungshebel ferner umfasst:
    mindestens einen Warnbereich (16) zum Informieren des Benutzers, wobei sich an dessen Rückseite mindestens eine Lichtquelle (19) befindet;
    mindestens ein Gehäuse (17a) für die Leiterplatte, in dem mindestens eine Leiterplatte (18) eingerichtet ist, eine sich in den Steuerungshebel (1) hinein erstreckende Wand (17b), die einstückig mit der Vorderfläche (30) ist, und einen Sicherheitskörper (14), der einen Füllstoff (20) aufweist, der im Gebrauch zumindest teilweise seine Innenseite auf eine abdichtende Weise bedeckt;
    ein vorderes Loch (6a) und ein hinteres Loch (7a), die jeweils der Steuerungsbasis (2) zugewandt sind und am vorderen Griffabschnitt (6) bzw. dem hinteren Griffabschnitt (7) bereitgestellt sind;
    mindestens ein Verbindungselement (22), das zwischen dem vorderen Loch (6a) und dem hinteren Loch (7a) eingerichtet ist, und
    wobei das Verbindungselement (22) ein asymmetrisches Loch (22a) aufweist, das im Gebrauch eine Verbindung des Steuerungshebels (1) mit der Steuerungsbasis (2) in einer geneigten Weise in Bezug auf die Längsachse des Steuerungshebels (1) ermöglicht.
  2. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er einen Totmannschalter (12) umfasst, der zum Kontrollieren der Anwesenheit einer Bedienperson dient.
  3. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er einen Abschnitt auf dem Warnbereich (16) umfasst, der den Status des Totmannschalters (12) anzeigt.
  4. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er mindestens eine Rolle (10) umfasst, die am oberen Teil des vorderen Griffabschnitts eingerichtet ist.
  5. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das geneigte Verbindungselement (22) durch Überlagerung zweier ähnlicher Teile gebildet ist und im Gebrauch ein asymmetrisches Loch (22a) umfasst, derart, dass es in der Nähe einer der Seitenwände liegt, wenn es in die Verbindungsstange (23) eingeführt ist.
  6. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das geneigte Verbindungselement (22) beidseitig zwischen dem vorderen Loch (6a) und dem hinteren Loch (7a) montiert werden kann, derart, dass es den Winkel des Steuerungshebels (1) in Bezug auf die Steuerungsbasis (2) ändert.
  7. Steuerungshebel (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Leiterplatte (18) eine Leiterplatte ist, die mit einem "Controller Area Network"-Kommunikationssystem zusammenwirkt.
  8. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Sicherheitskörper (14) aus einem Material besteht, das zumindest teilweise lichtdurchlässig ist.
  9. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass er eine Vielzahl von Lichtquellen (19) zum Bereitstellen von Informationen für den Benutzer umfasst, die auf der Leiterplatte (18) angeordnet sind.
  10. Steuerungshebel (1) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Füllstoff (20) zumindest die Leiterplatte (18) bedeckt.
  11. Steuerungsvorrichtung (3), umfassend einen Steuerungshebel (1) nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche.
