Definitions
- the invention relates to a lifting mast of an industrial truck, which has two laterally spaced rail profiles, the two rail profiles being connected to one another at one end by means of a cross member, the cross member being connected to the two rail profiles by means of a welded connection and the lifting mast having mounting pins for support rollers is provided, wherein the cross member is provided with the receiving pin for the support rollers.
- Such masts are used in the masts of industrial trucks.
- Multiple masts are known here, which are designed, for example, as duplex masts or triplex masts.
- a duplex mast consists of two masts.
- One of the two lifting masts forms a standing mast, for example an outer mast, in which the second lifting mast, which forms an extending mast, is guided by means of support rollers arranged on the standing mast and support rollers arranged on the extending mast.
- the extending mast is designed as an inner mast.
- a load carrier for example a fork carrier, is guided in the extending mast by means of support rollers.
- a triplex mast consists of three masts.
- a first lifting mast forms a standing mast, for example an outer mast, in which a second lifting mast, which forms a first extending mast, is guided by means of support rollers arranged on the standing mast and support rollers arranged on the first extending mast.
- the first extension mast is designed as a central mast.
- the third lifting mast which is designed as a second extending mast and forms an inner mast, is guided by means of further support rollers arranged on the first extending mast and on the second extending mast.
- the load carrier is guided by means of corresponding support rollers.
- the masts of such masts which form the corresponding standing masts or extending masts, each consist of two laterally spaced rail profiles that are connected to a load-bearing structure by means of cross members.
- the laterally spaced apart rail profiles of the masts form a right and left mast column of the mast.
- the two rail profiles are connected to one another at one end by means of a cross member.
- On the lifting mast there are also corresponding receiving pins for the supporting rollers, by means of which a further lifting mast of a multiple lifting frame is guided, on which the supporting rollers are rotatably mounted.
- the two rail profiles are connected to one another at the vertically upper end by means of a cross member designed as a head cross member.
- a receiving pin for a support roller is also arranged on these.
- the cross member formed as a head cross member at the vertically upper end of the two rail profiles enables the two rail profiles to be supported against one another, since the two rail profiles of the lifting mast are pushed apart by the forces on the support rollers of the lifting mast.
- the lifting mast is manufactured in the following steps.
- the rail profiles are cleaned, for example by sandblasting.
- the rail profiles are straightened.
- the rail profiles are machined, for example on a machining center.
- the rail profiles and the components that form the cross members are placed in a welding device and in a subsequent fifth step, all components are welded together to form the lifting mast.
- a recess for example a cup milling, and several frankings are produced in each of the rail profiles.
- the recess in the rail profile is required in preparation for the welding of the mounting pin of the support roller.
- the clearances on the rail profile are necessary in order to allow a welding gun accessibility with which the receiving pin is welded to the rail profile.
- the clearances on the rail profile are also used to assemble the lifting masts to the lifting frame.
- the cross member consists of two connecting plates and a connecting strut arranged between the connecting plates, the connecting plates being arranged on the outer surfaces of the rail profiles and being welded to them
- the rail profiles, the mounting pins for the support rollers, the two connecting plates and the connecting strut that form the cross member are inserted into the welding device.
- the lifting mast is designed as a standing mast, at least one holder for a lifting means is also inserted into the welding device.
- all components can be welded together.
- the welded connections of the locating pins for the support rollers with the rail profiles represent the most heavily loaded areas in the lifting mast and are correspondingly complex to manufacture in order to achieve a high level of operational stability and to prevent the welded connection from cracking or failing later.
- the additional welding of the buckling protection for the lifting cylinder and / or the additional welding of the holder for the lifting means represents an additional welding content, which leads to an extended welding process of the lifting mast.
- the lateral placement of the connecting plates of the cross member on the outer surfaces of the rail profiles leads to a lateral thickening of the component thickness and to a A driver of the industrial truck obstructs the view of the load carrier with the load handler.
- the extended welding process in the manufacturing process also leads to an increased cycle time and thus an increased production time of the standing mast compared to an extending mast. Overall, this leads to high manufacturing costs for a lifting mast designed as a standing mast.
- the present invention is based on the object of providing a lifting mast of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is simplified in terms of manufacture and enables the driver of the industrial truck to have an improved view of a load carrier.
- the cross member is only butt-mounted with one end face on the end faces of the two rail profiles and is connected to the rail profiles by means of a welded connection formed in the area of the superposed end faces, the welded joint between cross member and rail profile each being closed on the circumference Ring weld seam formed around the end faces lying on top of one another.
- the cross member is provided with the receiving pin for the support rollers of the lifting mast and the end face of the cross member and the end faces of the two rail profiles are designed as complementary surfaces that allow the cross member with the end face to be butted onto the end faces of the two rail profiles and by means of a welded connection to be connected to the two rail profiles in the area of the end faces lying on top of one another.
- the attachment of the receiving pins for the support rollers to the cross member makes it possible to dispense with the mechanical processing of the two rail profiles, since no recess and no clearances have to be made on the two rail profiles. This simplifies the manufacture of the two rail profiles and thus the manufacture of the lifting mast.
- the blunt placement of the cross member on the end faces of the two rail profiles do not result in any lateral thickening of the component thicknesses, so that the lifting mast according to the invention has an improved view for the driver of the industrial truck on the load carrier with the load handling device.
- the butt fitting of the cross member on the end faces of the two rail profiles enables the welded connection between the cross member and the respective rail profile to be designed as a ring seam, so that the cross member is connected to the two rail profiles by means of two ring seams.
- Such circumferentially closed ring seams are easy to manufacture and allow a high strength of the welded connection between the cross member and the two rail profiles.
- the cross member has two lateral outer plates and a connecting strut connecting the outer plates, the outer plates being provided with the end face.
- a cross member can easily be assembled from two outer plates and a connecting strut.
- the end face with which the cross member can be butted onto the end faces of the two rail profiles can be formed in a simple manner on the outer plates.
- a receiving pin for the support rollers is formed on each of the outer plates. This results in an improved flow of forces, since the forces of the support rollers are no longer guided via the welded connection between the cross member and the rail profiles.
- the receiving pin is formed in one piece on the outer plate.
- the one-piece design of the mounting pins on the outer plates and thus an integral design of the mounting pins on the outer plates of the cross member no welded connections are required for fastening the mounting pins of the support rollers. This further simplifies the welding process, which leads to a reduction in the construction cost of the lifting mast.
- the omission of the welded connections on the receiving pins also leads to an increased operational stability of the lifting mast.
- the outer plates are particularly advantageously designed as forged components or cast components, on each of which a receiving pin is molded.
- the outer plates can be manufactured as forged parts or as cast components with little construction effort and make it possible in a simple manner to integrally form a corresponding receiving pin for a support roller on the outer plate, so that no welded connection is required for fastening the receiving pin to the corresponding outer plate.
- the rail profile each has a U-shaped cross section, which has two outer webs and a flange connecting the outer webs, the outer plate having a U-shaped cross section at the end face, the two outer webs and a flange connecting the outer webs having, wherein the U-shaped cross section at the end face of the outer plate is adapted to the U-shaped cross section of the rail profile.
- the cross member is thus adapted to the shape and cross section of the rail profiles at the end face of the outer plates.
- the U-shaped cross-sections on the end face of the outer plates of the cross member preferably correspond to the U-shaped cross-sections on the rail profiles.
- the rail profile in each case has an E-shaped cross section, which has two outer webs and a flange connecting the outer webs, with a central web lying between the outer webs being formed on the flange, the outer plate having a U on the end face.

Such masts are used in the masts of industrial trucks. Multiple masts are known here, which are designed, for example, as duplex masts or triplex masts.
A duplex mast consists of two masts. One of the two lifting masts forms a standing mast, for example an outer mast, in which the second lifting mast, which forms an extending mast, is guided by means of support rollers arranged on the standing mast and support rollers arranged on the extending mast. The extending mast is designed as an inner mast. A load carrier, for example a fork carrier, is guided in the extending mast by means of support rollers.
A triplex mast consists of three masts. A first lifting mast forms a standing mast, for example an outer mast, in which a second lifting mast, which forms a first extending mast, is guided by means of support rollers arranged on the standing mast and support rollers arranged on the first extending mast. The first extension mast is designed as a central mast. In the first extending mast, the third lifting mast, which is designed as a second extending mast and forms an inner mast, is guided by means of further support rollers arranged on the first extending mast and on the second extending mast. In the second extension mast, the load carrier is guided by means of corresponding support rollers.
The masts of such masts, which form the corresponding standing masts or extending masts, each consist of two laterally spaced rail profiles that are connected to a load-bearing structure by means of cross members. The laterally spaced apart rail profiles of the masts form a right and left mast column of the mast.
In known lifting masts, the two rail profiles are connected to one another at one end by means of a cross member. For this purpose, it is known to connect the cross member to the two rail profiles by means of a welded connection. On the lifting mast, there are also corresponding receiving pins for the supporting rollers, by means of which a further lifting mast of a multiple lifting frame is guided, on which the supporting rollers are rotatably mounted.
In known lifting masts, the two rail profiles are connected to one another at the vertically upper end by means of a cross member designed as a head cross member. In the vertically upper end of the rail profiles, a receiving pin for a support roller is also arranged on these. The cross member formed as a head cross member at the vertically upper end of the two rail profiles enables the two rail profiles to be supported against one another, since the two rail profiles of the lifting mast are pushed apart by the forces on the support rollers of the lifting mast.
In known lifting masts, the lifting mast is manufactured in the following steps. In a first step, the rail profiles are cleaned, for example by sandblasting. In a subsequent second step, the rail profiles are straightened. In a subsequent third step, the rail profiles are machined, for example on a machining center. In a subsequent fourth step, the rail profiles and the components that form the cross members are placed in a welding device and in a subsequent fifth step, all components are welded together to form the lifting mast.
During the mechanical processing, a recess, for example a cup milling, and several frankings are produced in each of the rail profiles. The recess in the rail profile is required in preparation for the welding of the mounting pin of the support roller. The clearances on the rail profile are necessary in order to allow a welding gun accessibility with which the receiving pin is welded to the rail profile. The clearances on the rail profile are also used to assemble the lifting masts to the lifting frame.
Bei bekannten Hubmasten besteht der Querträger aus zwei Anschlussplatten und einer zwischen den Anschlussplatten angeordneten Verbindungsstrebe, wobei die Anschlussplatten jeweils an den Außenflächen der Schienenprofile angeordnet sind und mit diesen verschweißt werdenIn known lifting masts, the cross member consists of two connecting plates and a connecting strut arranged between the connecting plates, the connecting plates being arranged on the outer surfaces of the rail profiles and being welded to them
In known lifting masts, after the mechanical processing of the rail profiles, in the fourth step the rail profiles, the mounting pins for the support rollers, the two connecting plates and the connecting strut that form the cross member are inserted into the welding device. If the lifting mast is designed as a standing mast, at least one holder for a lifting means is also inserted into the welding device. Depending on the length of the lifting mast, it may be necessary to insert at least one anti-buckling device for a lifting cylinder in the welding device. Then, in the fifth step, all components can be welded together.
Known lifting masts have the following disadvantages.
The mechanical processing of the rail profiles for the production of the recess and the clearings leads to a high production cost for the rail profiles.
The welded connections of the locating pins for the support rollers with the rail profiles represent the most heavily loaded areas in the lifting mast and are correspondingly complex to manufacture in order to achieve a high level of operational stability and to prevent the welded connection from cracking or failing later.
The additional welding of the buckling protection for the lifting cylinder and / or the additional welding of the holder for the lifting means represents an additional welding content, which leads to an extended welding process of the lifting mast.
The lateral placement of the connecting plates of the cross member on the outer surfaces of the rail profiles leads to a lateral thickening of the component thickness and to a A driver of the industrial truck obstructs the view of the load carrier with the load handler.
In the case of a standing mast, which, compared to an extending mast, is additionally provided with the buckling protection for the lifting cylinder and the holders for the lifting means, the extended welding process in the manufacturing process also leads to an increased cycle time and thus an increased production time of the standing mast compared to an extending mast. Overall, this leads to high manufacturing costs for a lifting mast designed as a standing mast.
The present invention is based on the object of providing a lifting mast of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is simplified in terms of manufacture and enables the driver of the industrial truck to have an improved view of a load carrier.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the cross member is only butt-mounted with one end face on the end faces of the two rail profiles and is connected to the rail profiles by means of a welded connection formed in the area of the superposed end faces, the welded joint between cross member and rail profile each being closed on the circumference Ring weld seam formed around the end faces lying on top of one another. The cross member is provided with the receiving pin for the support rollers of the lifting mast and the end face of the cross member and the end faces of the two rail profiles are designed as complementary surfaces that allow the cross member with the end face to be butted onto the end faces of the two rail profiles and by means of a welded connection to be connected to the two rail profiles in the area of the end faces lying on top of one another. The attachment of the receiving pins for the support rollers to the cross member makes it possible to dispense with the mechanical processing of the two rail profiles, since no recess and no clearances have to be made on the two rail profiles. This simplifies the manufacture of the two rail profiles and thus the manufacture of the lifting mast. The blunt placement of the cross member on the end faces of the two rail profiles do not result in any lateral thickening of the component thicknesses, so that the lifting mast according to the invention has an improved view for the driver of the industrial truck on the load carrier with the load handling device. The butt fitting of the cross member on the end faces of the two rail profiles enables the welded connection between the cross member and the respective rail profile to be designed as a ring seam, so that the cross member is connected to the two rail profiles by means of two ring seams. Such circumferentially closed ring seams are easy to manufacture and allow a high strength of the welded connection between the cross member and the two rail profiles.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cross member has two lateral outer plates and a connecting strut connecting the outer plates, the outer plates being provided with the end face. A cross member can easily be assembled from two outer plates and a connecting strut. The end face with which the cross member can be butted onto the end faces of the two rail profiles can be formed in a simple manner on the outer plates.
Particular advantages result if, according to a further development of the invention, a receiving pin for the support rollers is formed on each of the outer plates. This results in an improved flow of forces, since the forces of the support rollers are no longer guided via the welded connection between the cross member and the rail profiles.
Further advantages result if, according to a further development of the invention, the receiving pin is formed in one piece on the outer plate. As a result of the one-piece design of the mounting pins on the outer plates and thus an integral design of the mounting pins on the outer plates of the cross member, no welded connections are required for fastening the mounting pins of the support rollers. This further simplifies the welding process, which leads to a reduction in the construction cost of the lifting mast. The omission of the welded connections on the receiving pins also leads to an increased operational stability of the lifting mast.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the outer plates are particularly advantageously designed as forged components or cast components, on each of which a receiving pin is molded. The outer plates can be manufactured as forged parts or as cast components with little construction effort and make it possible in a simple manner to integrally form a corresponding receiving pin for a support roller on the outer plate, so that no welded connection is required for fastening the receiving pin to the corresponding outer plate.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the rail profile each has a U-shaped cross section, which has two outer webs and a flange connecting the outer webs, the outer plate having a U-shaped cross section at the end face, the two outer webs and a flange connecting the outer webs having, wherein the U-shaped cross section at the end face of the outer plate is adapted to the U-shaped cross section of the rail profile. The cross member is thus adapted to the shape and cross section of the rail profiles at the end face of the outer plates. The U-shaped cross-sections on the end face of the outer plates of the cross member preferably correspond to the U-shaped cross-sections on the rail profiles. In this way it is achieved in a simple manner that the cross member does not protrude laterally beyond the rail profiles and thus does not impair the driver of the industrial truck's view of the load carrier with the load handling device. In addition, advantages in terms of manufacturing technology are achieved as a result, since the ring seams can be attached easily and with little construction effort.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the rail profile in each case has an E-shaped cross section, which has two outer webs and a flange connecting the outer webs, with a central web lying between the outer webs being formed on the flange, the outer plate having a U on the end face. has shaped cross-section, which has two outer webs and a flange connecting the outer webs, wherein the U-shaped cross section at the end face of the outer plate is adapted to the surface of the rail profile formed by the two outer webs and the flange. The cross member is thus based on the shape and cross section of the rail profiles on the end face of the outer plates. The U-shaped cross-sections on the end face of the outer plates of the cross member preferably correspond to those of the two outer webs and the flange formed area of the rail profile and thus correspond to the E-shaped cross-sections on the rail profiles except for the additional central webs.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the cross member is provided with at least one fastening interface for a tilt cylinder. As a result, further functions such as the attachment of the tilting cylinder for tilting the lifting frame can be integrated on the cross member, so that the construction costs of the lifting mast can be further reduced.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the cross member is provided with at least one holder for a lifting means. This increases the functional integration in the cross member even further, so that the construction cost of the lifting mast can be further reduced.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the cross member is provided with at least one buckling protection for a lifting cylinder. This increases the functional integration in the cross member even further, so that the construction cost of the lifting mast can be further reduced.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the cross member is provided with a lighting device. This increases the functional integration in the cross member even further, so that the construction cost of the lifting mast can be further reduced.
According to an advantageous development of the invention, the cross member is designed as a pre-assembly assembly, in particular as a pre-weld assembly. This leads to a further simplification of the manufacture of the lifting mast, since the cross member can be manufactured and assembled as a preassembly assembly independently of the rest of the lifting mast. If the lifting mast is designed as a standing mast and at least one holder for a lifting means and / or on the cross member At least one kink protection for a lifting cylinder has to be attached, the execution of the cross member as a fully assembled pre-assembly group enables the welding times to be shortened when welding the lifting mast, since only the ring seams have to be attached to connect the finished cross member to the rail profiles. The design of the cross member as a pre-assembly assembly also enables the cycle times for the production of a standing mast to be matched to the cycle times of an extending mast by shortening the welding times in the manufacture of the standing mast. Overall, this leads to a reduction in the manufacturing costs of a lifting mast designed as a standing mast.
The lifting mast is expediently designed as a standing mast. In the case of a lifting mast designed as a standing mast, the cross member according to the invention and its inventive connection to the rail profiles can achieve particular advantages, especially when the cross member is designed as a pre-assembly assembly that is provided with at least one holder for a lifting means and / or at least one anti-buckling device for a lifting cylinder is.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cross member is designed as a head cross member at the vertically upper end of the rail profiles. When the cross member is designed as a head cross member of a lifting mast, the cross member according to the invention and its connection to the rail profiles according to the invention achieve particular advantages, especially when the cross member is designed as a pre-assembly assembly with at least one holder for a lifting means and / or at least one anti-buckling device for a lifting cylinder is provided.

The welded connections for fastening the mounting
The additional welding of the buckling safeguards 8 for the lifting cylinders represents additional welding content which leads to a prolonged welding process of the lifting mast 1 during its manufacture. The same applies to the holder 7 of the lifting means. In the case of a lifting mast 1 designed as a standing mast, which is provided with the two holders 7 and the two buckling safeguards 8, a correspondingly long welding process results in the fifth step in the manufacture of the lifting mast 1.
The lateral placement of the
The additional welding content in a lifting mast 1 designed as a standing mast, which, compared to a lifting mast designed as an extending mast, is additionally provided with the buckling safeguards 8 for the lifting cylinders and the holders 7 for the lifting means, which are to be welded, lead to longer welding times and thus to an extended one Welding process in the manufacturing process of the standing mast and also to increased cycle times and thus an increased production time of the standing mast compared to an extending mast. Overall, this leads to high manufacturing costs for a lifting mast 1 designed as a standing mast.

The cross member 103 according to the invention can furthermore be provided with buckling safeguards, not shown in detail, for lifting cylinders.
In the

In the

In the one-piece molding of the receiving pins 106 of the support rollers on the cross member 103 according to the invention, further advantages result, since the complex welded connections for fastening the receiving pins 106 can be dispensed with. This achieves advantages with regard to a simple and inexpensive construction of the
The design of the cross member 103 as a preassembly assembly and pre-welding assembly leads to further advantages, since welding contents, such as the welding of the two
The cross member 103, designed as a pre-welding assembly, can be welded together with a simple welding device, for example by orbital welding. As a result, the construction costs for the cross member 103 designed as a pre-welded assembly is reduced.
The butt placement of the cross member 103 on the ends of the two
The invention also results in a harmonious flow of forces between the
The butt placement of the cross member 103 on the ends of the two
Further functions can also be easily integrated into the cross member 103 according to the invention, for example by arranging anti-buckling devices for lifting cylinders on the
