So kann der Strahlwähler beispielsweise ein plattenförmiges oder zylindrisches Bauteil sein, das in einer Führung des Armaturengehäuses verlagerbar ist. Der Strahlwähler wird zur Anwahl eines gewünschten Strahlformkörpers relativ zu dem Wasseraustritt des Armaturengehäuses bewegt. Nach Anwahl eines Strahlformkörpers, wenn er also in Fluidverbindung mit dem Wasseraustritt und somit in den Strömungsweg des Wasserstroms gebracht wurde, kann er von dem aus dem Wasseraustritt austretenden Wasserstrom durchströmt werden. Der stationär bleibende Wasseraustritt 4 wird dabei mittels einer nicht dargestellten Rasterung der Strahlwahlplatte 7 und des Gehäuseaustrittsteils 12 präzise in Fluidverbindung mit den Strahlkammern 9a, 9b, 9c und somit in Fluidverbindung mit den Strahlformkörpern 6a, 6b, 6c der Strahlwahlplatte 7 gebracht.
