Claims (15)

  1. Device for feeding and fitting valve sacks (2) collectively along a linear conveying direction (4) onto a filler nozzle (6) of a filling machine, with a magazine (8) for receiving a stack (10) of empty valve sacks (2), having two opposite side walls, a magazine bottom (12) and a rear wall (16), wherein a withdrawal opening (18) with a front edge (20) and a trailing edge (22), extending between the side walls, is arranged in the magazine bottom (12), with a rotatable transport roller (34), whose axis of rotation (34a) is horizontal and transverse to the conveying direction (4), and a pressure roller (36) arranged parallel to and above the transport roller (34), movable with a vertical movement component and rotatable around an axis of rotation running parallel to the axis of rotation (34a) of the transport roller (34), wherein at least one of the transport rollers (34) and the pressure rollers (36) can be driven in rotating fashion, with a suction gripper (30) that can be moved under the withdrawal opening with a vertical movement component, and can be pivoted around a horizontal pivot axis (32) and arranged transversely to the conveying direction (4) in order to grip and extract a front sack section (2a) of a lower-most valve sack (2.1) of the stack (10) from the withdrawal opening (18) while bending the front sack section (2a) at the trailing edge (22); it is possible to bring the front sack section (2a) between the transport roller (34) and the pressure roller (36), with an intermediate conveyor (40) adjoining the transport roller (34), working in the conveying direction (4) in order to grip the valve sack (2) in a friction-engaged manner, and with an opening conveyor (60), arranged after the intermediate conveyor (40), seen in the conveying direction (4), working in the conveying direction (4) for frictionally engaging side walls of a valve sack (2) and fitting the valve sack (2) onto the filler nozzle (6), opening means (66) to open a valve of the valve sack (2) being arranged in the vicinity of the opening conveyor (60).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the intermediate conveyor (40) is designed to grip a lateral edge section (2b) running parallel to the conveying direction (4) of the valve sack (2), which may have a width of 5% to 25% of a sack width (B).
  3. Device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a stack direction (24) of the magazine (8) running transversely to extension planes of the stacked valve sacks (2) is arranged at an angle of at most 45° to the vertical.
  4. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the magazine (8) has a front wall (14).
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the magazine bottom (12), the rear wall (16), the front wall (14), as far as present, and/or the side walls are made from parallel cylindrical bars.
  6. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a distance (a) of the front edge (20) from a front edge of the magazine bottom (12) is less than a distance (b) of the trailing edge (22) of the magazine bottom (12) from the rear wall (16).
  7. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the intermediate conveyor has an upper and a lower roller strip between which the lateral edge section (2b) of a valve sack (2) can be gripped in a friction-engaged manner.
  8. Device according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the intermediate conveyor (40) has a lower belt drive (42) with lower transport belts (44) guided in a circulating manner between the transport roller (34) and a first guide roller (46) with horizontal axis of rotation and an upper belt drive (48) with an upper transport belt (50), which is guided between a second guide roller (52) adjacent to the pressure roller (36) and above the transport roller (34) and a third guide roller (54) adjacent to the first guide roller (46), wherein the lateral edge section (2b) of a valve sack (2) can be gripped in a friction-engaged manner between an upper run of the lower transport belt (44) and a lower run of the upper transport belt (50).
  9. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a first drive for vertical movement of the pressure roller (36) and a second drive for movement of the suction gripper (30) are controlled in a coordinated manner by a controller, so that the pressure roller (36) can be pressed against the transport roller (34), as soon as the suction gripper (30) has moved a front sack section (2a) of a valve sack (2) between transport roller (34) and pressure roller (36).
  10. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the opening means (66) are formed by profiled metal sheets provided with suction openings, which can be linked to equipment producing negative pressure.
  11. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a guide means such as guide plate or blowing nozzle is arranged in the vicinity of the intermediate conveyor (40) for assisting pivoting of a part of the valve sack (2) bordering the lateral edge section (2b) into a vertical position.
  12. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the intermediate conveyor comprises a first intermediate conveyor for bearing the valve sack (2) in full width (B) and a second intermediate conveyor for gripping only the lateral edge section (2b) of the valve sack (2).
  13. Method for feeding and fitting valve sacks (2) collectively along a linear conveying direction (4) onto a filler nozzle (6) of a filling machine, using a device in accordance with one of claims 1 to 12, wherein the front sack section (2a) of a lower-most valve sack (2.1) of a stack (10) of empty valve sacks (2) is gripped by the suction gripper (30), moved from the withdrawal opening (18) and is brought between the transport roller (34) and the receiving roller (36), pressed by the receiving roller (36) against the transport roller (34) and is pulled in the conveying direction (4) from the magazine (8), whereupon a lateral edge section (2b) of the valve sack (2) is gripped by the intermediate conveyor (40) and is transported along the conveying direction (4) in a horizontal position, the remaining part of the valve sack (2) being pivoted downward and vertical side walls of the valve sack (2) being gripped in a friction-engaged manner by the opening conveyor (60), the valve sack (2) being transported to the opening means (66), opened by this and fitted by the opening conveyor (60) along the conveying direction (4) onto the filler nozzle (6).
  14. Method according to claim 13, characterized in that the pressure roller (36) is moved against the transport roller (34), directly after the front sack section (2a) has been brought by the suction gripper (30) between the transport roller (34) and the pressure roller (36).
  15. Method according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that the remaining part of the valve sack (2) is pivoted downward due to gravity and/or by a guide plate or by means of a blowing nozzle.
