Device for fastening a finishing strip (8) to a wall (2) having a holding profile (1) made of a rigid synthetic material and forming a wall limb (3) and a receiving web (7) for the finishing strip (8), which web is arranged transversely offset with respect to the wall limb (3) and comprises clamping ribs (10) extending in the web longitudinal direction, characterised in that the clamping ribs (10) are coextruded from a flexible synthetic material with the holding profile (1) and can pivot against the receiving web (7) in the push-on direction.
  2. Device as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the clamping ribs (10) made of the flexible synthetic material are provided on the side of the receiving web (7) facing toward the wall limb (3).
  3. Device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the clamping ribs (10) form clamping lips which protrude transversely in relation to the receiving web (7) and have a width corresponding to at least twice the thickness.
