- Wheel disc assemblies of the type mentioned are known in the art. They form components of rotors, such as gas turbine rotors or the like. Normally, a plurality of sealing plates are slidably received in the circumferential direction between the wheel disc and the blade means. Thus, the sealing plates can be used for example in radially spaced-apart annular grooves, which are formed on the wheel disc on the one hand and on the blade means on the other. In order to ensure proper functioning of the sealing plates, it is necessary to secure the individual sealing plates against displacement in the circumferential direction, for which corresponding securing devices are used.
