Claims (8)

  1. Connecting element (1), comprising
    - at least one connection bracket (2) with at least one contact element,
    - at least one dirt guard (3), and
    - at least one opening element (4),
    - wherein the connecting element (1) can be inserted into a mating element in a direction of insertion (100),
    - wherein the dirt guard (3) optionally has an opened state in which the connection bracket (2) is uncovered, and a closed state in which the connection bracket (2) is covered,
    - wherein the dirt guard (3) is operatively connected to the opening element (4), so that by a process of inserting the connecting element (1) into the mating element a movement of the opening element (4) counter to the direction of insertion (100) causes a displacement of the dirt guard (3) into the opened state and a movement of the opening element (4) in the direction of insertion (100) causes a displacement of the dirt guard (3) into the closed state, and
    - wherein the connection bracket (2) is operatively connected to the opening element (4), so that a movement of the opening element (4) counter to the direction of insertion (100) causes a displacement of the connection bracket (2) into an extended position in the direction of insertion (100) and a movement of the opening element (4) in the direction of insertion (100) causes a displacement of the connection bracket (2) into a retracted position counter to the direction of insertion (100), wherein the opening element (4) is a cylindrical pin which extends along the direction of insertion (100), wherein said cylindrical pin has a first end (7) which is guided in a rail (9) and is operatively connected to the connection bracket (2) and to the dirt guard (3) and has a free second end (8) opposing the first end (7), and wherein in the closed state of the dirt guard (3) the second end (8) of the opening element (4) is situated in the direction of insertion (100) in front of the dirt guard (3) and the connection bracket (2).
  2. Connecting element (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that the second end (8) is connected to the connection bracket (2) via at least one pivot arm (5).
  3. Connecting element (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the dirt guard (3) surrounds a frame element (13), in which a slatted gate (6) is displaceably guided between the opened state and the closed state, wherein the slatted gate (6) is coupled to the opening element (4).
  4. Connecting element (1) according to claim 3, characterised in that the slatted gate (6) can be displaced by means of the opening element (4) into an opening encompassed by the frame element (13) or through the opening encompassed by the frame element (13).
  5. Connecting element (1) according to any one of claims 3 or 4, characterised in that the frame element (13) has a dirt scraper (12), by means of which dirt adhering to the slatted gate (6) can be scraped off when moving the slatted gate (6) into the closed state or into the opened state.
  6. Connecting element (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised by means of an elastic element (11) which extends between a support structure (10) of the connecting element (1) and the connection bracket (2), wherein the elastic element (11) pushes the connection bracket (2) into the retracted position.
  7. Connecting element (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the connection bracket (2) has at least one contact element for establishing an electrical and/or electronic and/or hydraulic connection.
  8. Weapons carrier system comprising a connecting element (1) according to any one of the preceding claims.
