Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wechselbehälter, der dem Transportieren von Gütern dient und der einen durch Wandungen zumindest teilweise begrenzten Aufnahmeraum (2) zur Aufnahme der Güter aufweist, wobei der Wechselbehälter (1) eine Stützvorrichtung mit mehreren voneinander beabstandeten Stützbeinen (3) aufweist, wobei die Stützbeine (3) jeweils zwischen einer Ruheposition und einer Abstützposition bewegbar sind, wobei die Stützbeine (3) in der Abstützposition von einer Unterseite des Wechselbehälters (1) weg ragen und den Wechselbehälter (1) gegenüber einem Untergrund abstützen, und wobei jedem Stützbein (3) ein Fixierelement (4) zugeordnet ist, das in eine Fixierstellung überführbar ist, in der es das entsprechende Stützbein (3) in seiner Abstützposition fixiert.
