Während ein jeweiliger Bogen 1000 in Transportrichtung T transportiert wird, liegt er auf einem Transporttisch 4 flächig auf. Die Oberseite eines jeweiligen Bogens 1000 ist somit frei zugänglich und kann von nicht näher dargestellten Druckköpfen in der Druckstation 1 bedruckt werden. Die Transporttische 4 werden von einer Antriebsvorrichtung 5 auf einer umlaufenden Bahn bewegt. Die Antriebsvorrichtung 5 weist dazu zum einen einen Kettenantrieb 6 auf als auch von Servomotoren 11 angetriebene Zahnriemen 10 auf, wobei letztere die Transporttische 4 entlang einer sich in der Druckstation 1 befindlichen Teilstrecke 7 der Transportstrecke bewegen. Entlang der restlichen Transportstrecke 8, welche insbesondere die Rückführung der Transporttische 4 zum Anleger 2 umfasst, wird der Antrieb durch den Kettenantrieb 6 realisiert. Claims (8)

  1. Printing machine (100) including at least one printing unit (1) for printing on flat elements, in particular sheets (1000) of paper, plastic, and cardboard, and a transport system (9) for transporting the flat elements (1000),
    wherein the transport system (9) has a plurality of transport tables (4) revolving along a closed transport path (7, 9) and a drive device (5) for moving the transport tables (4),
    and wherein the drive device (5) has revolving belt drives (10) driven by servomotors (11),
    characterized in
    that the belt drives (10) are equipped with entrainment elements (12) that temporarily engage with the transport tables (4) to move the transport tables (4) along a partial path (7) of the transport path,
    wherein only one transport table (4) is moved along this partial path (7) by a respective belt drive (10), and
    in that the partial path (7) is located at least in the region of the printing unit (1), and in that the drive device (5) additionally includes a further belt drive (6) for moving the transport tables (4) along the remaining transport path (8), in particular a chain drive.
  2. Printing machine according to claim 1,
    characterized in
    that multiple entrainment elements (12) that are spaced apart from one another are mounted to every belt drive (10).
  3. Printing machine according to any one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in
    that the transport tables (4) are designed as flat sheet-holding elements for the flat elements (1000) flatly to rest thereon in order to be transported.
  4. Printing machine according to any one of the preceding claims,

    that the belt drives (10) are embodied as belts, namely as timing belts.
