Definitions
- the field of the invention is that of the design and manufacture of sanitary equipment, and in particular that of sanitary units intended to be mounted on a sanitary appliance to allow the evacuation of water from this apparatus in the direction of a pipeline network.
- such an assembly further includes a closure valve of the discharge orifice, and a valve control system to change its position (open or closed evacuation orifice).
- the invention applies to water discharge assemblies intended to be mounted on sanitary appliances of all kinds, in particular wash basins or sinks, sinks, bathtubs, tubs or shower trays.
- the assembly is carried out as follows: the tubular piece is inserted from top to bottom in the hole provided for this purpose in the sanitary equipment, until to come to rest the collar on the wall of the sanitary equipment.
- This tubular piece has a thread to be firmly coupled to the sanitary equipment by means of a nut, screwed on the lower end of the tubular piece projecting under the sanitary equipment. The nut is screwed until tightened. Then a siphon body is attached to the lower end of the tubular piece, and the siphon body is connected to the pipe network.
- tubular part is considered to be the bung body of the evacuation assembly.
- these water evacuation assemblies have a height requirement, under the sanitary equipment, relatively important.
- this reduction in height space is particularly sought in mounting configurations according to which a storage space is provided directly under the sanitary equipment.
- the water evacuation assembly then extends into this space, which reduces the available space and / or confers an unsightly appearance to this space.
- the installer must bring a pipe at the evacuation assembly to connect it to it.
- the exhaust duct extending from the siphon body must therefore be oriented to receive the pipe supplied by the installer.
- the installer is then forced to adjust the angular position of the exhaust duct extending from the siphon body before tightening it on the tubular part.
- it must cut the pipe to a length adjusted to the position of the drain pipe of the bung body.
- the invention particularly aims to overcome these disadvantages of the prior art.
- the invention aims to provide a water evacuation assembly intended to be mounted on equipment sanitary which has a height space below the water evacuation assemblies of the same type as the prior art.
- the invention also aims to provide such a water evacuation assembly that is simple and quick to install.
- the invention also aims to provide such a water evacuation assembly which has a durable mechanical strength and a reliable water tightness over time.
- the siphon body (or here the bung body) is screwed onto the lower part of the tubular part, which itself is secured to the sanitary equipment via said nut.
- the threaded lower portion of the tubular piece has a minimum height so that the second fastening nut of the siphon body or bung is screwed on a sufficient number of steps.
- the support means are directly on the nut, which thus eliminates the height of the tubular part dedicated to screwing and thus to the attachment of the siphon body or bung on the tubular part.
- the reception zone and the cone portion or the sphere portion if the pipe intended to connect the water discharge assembly to the general network is not horizontal, it is possible to tilt the bung body about its pivot axis to adjust the inclination of the exhaust pipe relative to that of the mains connection pipe.
- this characteristic makes it possible to constitute an additional degree of freedom to the bung body (rotational mobility around the horizontal pivot axis perpendicular to the water discharge pipe) which avoids or at least limits the transmission of the connection pipe to the bung body in case of misalignment of the connection pipe and the water discharge pipe.
- Such a transmission of stress would in fact tend eventually to disengage the connecting clips from the annular groove of the nut, the clips having a limited capacity for retaining the bung body on the nut.
- the bung body has means for cooperating with the support means in a clipping connection.
- the cooperation means preferably comprise at least two diametrically opposed clips, the support means comprising an annular groove adapted to form a housing for the clips.
- the pivot axis is materialized by the two diametrically opposed clips.
- These clips therefore have a dual function, namely that of retaining the bung body on the nut and that allowing the pivoting of the bung body relative to the nut about the horizontal axis perpendicular to the discharge pipe of the body. 'water.
- the receiving zone consists of a seal mounted in the bung body.
- the seal advantageously has an annular contact zone with which the lower zone of the nut is in contact so as to ensure watertightness.
- the bung body is somehow mounted floating relative to the nut, both in watertight contact and movable along the horizontal pivot axis perpendicular to the water discharge pipe .
- the bung body advantageously has an internal shoulder forming a seat for the seal.
- the assembly of the seal inside the bung body can be performed easily and quickly.
- the water conduit may contain coupling means capable of coupling the bung body with an external tube.
- the coupling means comprise a captive nut.
- the nut 2 is intended to be screwed onto the thread 12 of the tubular piece, the screwing being operated to tighten the sanitary appliance (shown in dashed line on the figure 1 ) between the flange 11 of the tubular piece and the nut 2.
- the nut has support means 20 of the bung body.
- these support means are constituted by an annular groove 200 defined in particular by a lower rim 21, this annular groove being intended to receive cooperation means presented by the bung body, these cooperation means being capable of cooperating with the support means constituted by the annular groove in a clipping connection.
- the support means that the nut has are constituted by an annular groove 200 able to form a housing for the clips 30.
- the clips 30 will come into contact with the lower rim 21 of the throat annular via the fingers 300, which will deviate centrifugally continuing the engagement of the bung body on the nut.
- the hinges 302 tend to push the fingers 300 of the clips 30 inside the annular groove.
- the fingers 300 of the clips then come to rest on the lower rim 21 as illustrated by the figure 2 .
- the bung body comprises a receiving zone 310 of the lower zone 22 of the nut. nut.
- this lower zone 22 has the shape of a cone portion or of a sphere portion capable of cooperating with the receiving zone 310 so as to allow a movement of the bung body relative to the nut around the a pivot axis C perpendicular to the screw axis A and the longitudinal axis of the water discharge conduit 4 of the bung body.
- the pivot axis C of the bung body relative to the nut is embodied by the two diametrically opposite clips 30.
- the receiving zone 310 is constituted by a seal mounted in the bung body.
- This seal 31 is mounted on an internal shoulder 32 of the bung body, this shoulder forming a seat for the seal.
- the seal has an annular contact zone 311, with which the lower zone 22 of the nut is in contact so as to ensure watertightness as illustrated by the figure 2 .
- the height of the neck 314 is dimensioned so as to correspond to the maximum angular displacement of the connection relative to the nut during its pivoting about the axis C materialized by the fingers 300 of the clips 30.
- the ceiling 23 the annular groove constituting the support means 20 that the nut has to support the bung body is constantly in contact 360 ° with the upper end of the neck 314 of the seal 31.
- Figures 6 and 7 show, seen from the side and in section, an example of inclination of the bung body, in which the longitudinal axis B of the discharge duct 4 forms an angle of a few degrees with the axis D perpendicular to the axis A forming the screw shaft of the nut.
- the neck 314 of the seal 31 occupies an extended height keeping it in contact with the ceiling 23 of the annular groove of the nut, whereas, diametrically opposite, the neck 314 is crushed and forms a bead under the effect and the stress of the ceiling 23 of the annular groove of the nut.
- such a water discharge assembly is capable of receiving a dip tube so that the bung body becomes a siphoid bung body.
- the nut 2 has a second annular groove 24 intended to receive and hold in position a seal 25, positioned and dimensioned so as to ensure a watertight seal in cooperation with the dip tube (not shown).
- the torque of the bung body 3 is obtained on the nut 2 in the following manner: the clips 30 have a groove 303 intended to receive an internal annular bead 201 formed on the inner wall of the nut. To disengage the bung body from the nut, it is necessary to press the clips 30 centripetrically.
- grooves 303 has a constriction 3030 on either side of which extend flared portions 3031 allowing a pivoting (of the order of 2 ° for example) of the nut relative to the clips (around the axis connecting the two constrictions 3030 clips).
- the evacuation duct water 4 comprises coupling means capable of coupling the bung body 3 with an external tube (not shown).
- these coupling means comprise a captive nut or tip described hereinafter.
- the captive nut 81 is part of a connecting member 81 carried by the bung body.
- the connecting member forms a cavity 811 which is adapted and intended to receive an external tube ( figures 8 , 14 and 15 ).
- This connecting member comprises a circular seal 812, a tip 813 (constituted by the captive nut) and compression means 814 of the circular seal.
- the tip 813 is movable between at least one home position ( Figures 14 and 15 ) and a locking position ( Figures 16 and 17 ).
- the circular seal has an internal diameter capable of leaving the second conduit movable in the home position of the nozzle.
- This circular seal has the function of establishing the seal and also to achieve the connection between the connecting member and the second conduit. Indeed, the movement of the tip from the home position to the locking position causes a radial deformation at least centripetal seal 812 by means of compression means 814, so as to reduce the internal diameter of the seal circular to compress it on the second conduit to retain it in a position inserted inside the cavity.
- the compression means 814 comprise a frustoconical element 8140 carried by the connecting member at the entrance of the cavity.
- a frustoconical element makes it possible to promote the radial deformation at least centripetal of the circular seal 812 being able to act circumferentially on the circular seal.
- the tip is mobile by screwing.
- the tip more particularly includes partial screw threads 85 complementary threads 86 of the connecting member.
- the partial threads 85 are carried on an inner face of the tip and are in particular four in number.
- the connecting member comprises retaining means 83 of the nozzle on the conduit, intended to allow clipping of the tip 813.
- the retaining means 83 are located at the entrance of the threads 86.
- the tip is clipped (or fitted) by force in the home position by forcing the passage of one of the partial threads 85 over it.
- retaining means 83 make it possible to form an obstacle that goes against a disengagement (or unclipping) of the tip of its reception position (in the absence of a voluntary action exerted by a user).
- the retaining means 83 take the form of at least one tooth 830.
- Partial threads may have sections of different lengths. Thus designed, these partial threads have a function of "keying" and guide and facilitate the interlocking of the tip. As shown on the figure 17 , the "keying" function makes it possible to use visual markers 870, 871 placed at predetermined locations, indicating whether the tip is in its locking position (aligned marks).
- the partial screw threads and the threads are made so that the movement of the home position to the locking position is obtained by a quarter-turn or eighth-turn type screwing.
- the connecting member comprises a movable tip by a screw type quarter turn.
- Such screwing is particularly easy and quick to perform, especially in a small space and / or by an inexperienced person.
- the connecting member comprises at least one locking abutment 84 of the nozzle 813.
- these locking positional stops 84 are located in the threads 86 of the connection member and thus exert a resistance to the passage of the partial screw threads 85 during the movement of the tip in the locking position and out of its position. lock position.
- Partial screw threads 85 comprise notches 850. These notches 850 are complementary to the locking position-setting stops 84. Thus, the locking position corresponds to the position in which the locking position-setting stops take place at the inside of the notches 850.
- the positioning stops thus exert a resistance against a movement of the tip during a locking or unlocking of the connecting member. As explained above, this resistance thus makes it possible to secure the endpiece in the locked position or to inform the installer that the locking position has been reached. The locking of the connection member is then effective.
- the connecting member comprises at least one engagement stop (not shown) of the conduit inside the cavity.
- This stop may for example take the form of a shoulder of the internal diameter of the cavity against which the end of the second led comes to a stop.
- the second conduit can thus be engaged in the cavity to this shoulder which can thus mark an optimum engagement distance of the second conduit.
- the circular seal is carried by the nozzle and is in particular molded into the tip.
- the circular seal 812 includes a lip 8120 extending parallel to the axis of introduction of the second conduit into the cavity.
- the lip 8120 has an outer frustoconical face 8121 complementary to the frustoconical element 8140 carried by the connecting member at the entrance of the cavity. This outer frustoconical face is particularly adapted to cooperate with the compression means to promote a centripetal radial deformation of the seal.
- the mouthpiece is fitted into its home position ( figure 14 ).
- the second conduit 82 is then moved from an approach position ( figure 14 ) to an inserted position ( figure 15 ). As illustrated by figure 15 , the outer tube 82 is inserted into the cavity 811 but remains freely movable. Indeed, the tip 813 being in the home position, the compression means 814 do not deform the circular seal which then has an internal diameter greater than the outer diameter of the second conduit 82.
- the tip is in the locking position after being screwed on a quarter turn.
- the screwing of the endpiece is thus translated by a displacement of the endpiece following the partial threads, by the approximation of the gasket 812 carried by the tip of the tapered element 8140, and by the alignment of the visual cues. 870, 871.
- the circular seal is compressed on the second conduit and holds the outer tube in a position inserted into the cavity.
- the displacement of the tip from the home position to the locking position makes it possible to bring the frustoconical element 8140 into contact with the circular seal 812 and to compress the latter circumferentially to deform it radially in a centripetal manner allowing thus compressing it on the outer tube.
