  • the lighting device 7, for example, in the area of said Mounting flanges 20, see. Fig. 5 , other LEDs or other light sources.
  • the lighting device 7 can advantageously comprise light sources of different colors and / or light sources variable in the color temperature, in order to be able to illuminate the barrier elements 5 in different colors and to be able to achieve different lighting effects.
  • differently colored LEDs may be provided in the form of the previously described LED light strip 12.
  • light sources of different colors may be provided on a barrier element 5 and / or light sources of different color temperature may be arranged on different barrier elements 5.
  • the lighting device 7 can be controlled in various ways. For example, when used in a casino or a gaming facility, various lighting effects may be achieved in the form of changes in the color of the lighting, light pulses by turning on or off, or pulsed changes in light color and / or intensity.
  • the lighting device 7 can also be controlled by control means 14 and 15, which take into account the movement of the turnstile 3 or the barrier elements 5 and / or take into account signals of the detection means 13, cf. Fig. 6 ,
  • the barrier elements 5 of the turnstile 3 can be illuminated in a different way when the turnstile rotates than when the turnstile 3 is stationary.
  • a pulsed illumination of the barrier elements 5 may be provided when the turnstile 3 rotates, while a static or constant illumination can be generated when the turnstile 3 is stationary.
  • the lighting device 7 can be variably controlled as a function of the detection of an access searcher or his authorization. For example, if of the Identification reader 19 a valid ticket or a valid ticket is detected, a green illumination of the barrier elements 5 are provided, while on detection of an invalid ticket, a red illumination of the barrier elements 5 can be provided.
  • FIG. 7 shows a further embodiment of the access control device 1, the execution of the FIGS. 1 to 6 basically in many details, in particular the training of the illuminable barrier elements 5 corresponds or is similar, so that reference is made in principle to the above description. Basically, all statements apply to the FIGS. 1 to 6 also for the execution of FIGS. 7 and 8th ,
  • the execution after Fig. 7 and 8th has the following additional features:
  • the turnstile 3, in particular its turnstile posts 21 may be supported on a bottom plate 22, which may be advantageously connected to the access enclosing portal 2, in particular its portal post 2a.
  • Said bottom plate 22 may be rigidly connected to the portal post 2a at the lower end of the portal post 2a, for example screwed or otherwise attached, and extending to the lower end of the turnstile post 21, for example via a roller or sliding bearing or other pivot bearing may be rotatably supported on the bottom plate 22.
  • no ground anchoring needs to be provided for the turnstile 3.
  • the entire access control device 1 can be set up in a simple manner at different locations, for example, be moved or crazy on the ground, without the portal 2 would have to be adjusted relative to the turnstile 3.
  • the base plate 22 advantageously forms free-standing, anchorage-free, positionally variable, floor standing means 23 for the barrier support of the movable barrier element 5, which barrier support may be designed in the form of the turnstile 3 shown.
  • Fig. 7 shows, connect to the portal 2 laterally a modular side shield 24, which can be composed of several side parts 25 variable in different configurations.
  • the said side parts 25 may form, for example, wall elements, for example in the form of at least partially transparent panels made of an at least partially transparent material such as glass or plastic, for example Plexiglas, but instead of such planar panel elements, other side parts, for example in the form of a grid, a picket fence or similar training can be provided.
  • the side parts 25 comprise partially transparent and / or light-conducting panels as mentioned above, the side parts 25 can basically be illuminated and provided with a lighting device, as described above for the barrier elements 5, in order also to be able to bring about different light effects in the area of the side parts 25 , In this respect, reference is made to the previous description concerning the barrier elements 5.
  • the side parts 25 are releasably connectable to each other, and advantageously in an articulated manner, so that the side parts 25 can be set to each other in different angular positions.
  • joint connection means may be provided between adjacent side parts 25, which realize an upright hinge axis, so that adjacent side parts 25 can hinge relative to one another along their mutually facing, adjacent side edges.
  • connecting posts 26 may be provided, on which the side parts 25 may each be pivotally articulated about an upright hinge axis 26.
  • the said connection posts 28 can have their own joint connection means 27 for each connectable side part 25, so that the adjacent side parts 25 can pivot about two separate hinge axes.
  • a common hinge axis 26 between two adjacent side members 25 may be provided.
  • the isabsperrung 24 is advantageously also hinged to the portal 2, and advantageously also to an upright hinge axis 26.
  • 25 corresponding hinge connection means 27 may be provided on the portal post 2a and / or on the side panels, see. Fig. 7 ,
  • a corresponding sensor device 29 may be designed, for example, in the form of a light barrier and / or comprise radar sensors which monitor said spatial region.
  • the sensor device 29 may be integrated in the portal 2 or attached thereto.
  • light barrier sensor elements may be mounted on the opposing portal posts 2a to communicate with each other above and / or below the uppermost and lowermost barrier elements and detect an unauthorized passage, cf. Fig. 7 ,
  • Fig. 7 shows an acoustic device provided, for example, be attached to the portal 2, in order to also output acoustic information and signals.
  • audible feedback may be related to access control actions such as unlocking, denying access, activating photocell, and so forth.
  • the acoustic device may be connected to the aforementioned sensor device 29 in order to prevent unauthorized exceeding of the turnstile Alarm message to signal.
  • the acoustic device 30 may comprise a loudspeaker 31, for example on the portal 2, cf. Fig. 7 ,
